A night to Remember

"Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked again just wanting to make sure she didn't agree to it out of pressure.

She took a deep breath and nodded. "I want to do it, it's my duty as your wife after all."

He fought his urge and sat up on the bed, "I don't want you to do this cause you think it's your duty." he said still not convinced.

Mei jingjing sat up on the bed gazing at him, does he have to be so concerned about her decision all the time?, any guy would love to throw themselves on a woman whose offering herself freely for them but this husband of her's is just.....

She couldn't deny the fact she actually wanted him, who wouldn't want such an attractive and super handsome guy like Li Jie but yet again, he isn't actually a heartless person, he cares about everyone and their feelings, she's seen sides of him she never knew he had.

He can be a little bit tempered and arrogant but behind it are his genuine love and care, in a way, she found herself lucky to have him as her husband.

Plus there's noway she's gonna let Daiyu steal her husband from her.

He gazed up at the ceiling with his arms folded. "Of course, I want a beautiful daughter just like Chyou fen, she's going to look exactly like her mother but she definitely won't carry your stubbornness." he teased making Mei jingjing gawk at him.

"I'm not stubborn!"

He scoffed. "You're too stubborn to even accept your own attitude, do you really want our daughter to be like that?"

Mei jingjing kept quiet feeling defeated, he smirked and gazed at her tenderly.

"Even if she does carry your attitude, I'll love her with everything I've got."

He laid back on the pillow making his hair spill on it.

"What do you actually plan on doing when everything is over?" she asked.

"When everything is over, we'll move to a beautiful new town, a quiet place where we can both live happily with our beautiful daughter." he sounded normal but his eyes said it all like he was already imagining the beautiful life ahead, Mei jingjing is actually surprised he's made her part of his life, she's always wanted to have her own happy family and Li Jie also wants the same thing but with her in it.

"What about the throne?" she asked.

"I want nothing to do with the throne, I just want to be around the people I care about, that's it."

Mei jingjing smiled at his heart felt words, she never knew Li Jie also thought about things like that, it made her happy.

He glanced at her and saw she had a radiant smile on her gorgeous face. He couldn't be more happier, since the first day they met, he's always been drawn to her and now he's going to be with her and make sure she doesn't go through any suffering or pain ever again.

He noticed the bedsheet wasn't fully covering her chest side exposing little of the swell in her chest, Mei jingjing followed his eyes and caught him staring at her chest side, her eyes grew wider and she hurriedly covered it up, he gave her a look which meant he's already seen it.

"Get your eyes away!"

He flashed a coy smile and his eyes looked dangerous again, her innocence never fails to arouse him, the more she tried to cover, the more aroused he got.

He grabbed her hand stopping her. "You don't get to do that. what have you done to me?"

Mei jingjing stirred on the bed bathed in sunlight which shun from her window, her eyes slowly flutter open as she met the sunrise shining brightly from her window, Last nights event came rushing back to her, she sat upright immediately wondering if it was all a dream, but the fact she was still naked under the sheets and Li Jie's touch still lingered on her body made her know it wasn't a dream but it actually happened last night.

She gave herself to the man she thought she was going to hate for getting her married to him, a small smile crossed her small pink lips.
