Chapter Twelve

　　“Wake up sleepy head.” Annie heard a loud voice say from her sleep.

　　“Go away.” She mumbled as she snuggled closer to the pillow.

　　“Annnnnieeeee, wake up.” The voice said again.

　　“Give me twenty minutes, Ella.” She mumbled with her eyes closed.

　　“No way, honey. You have to wake up now.” She placed a kiss on Annie’s cheek after which she removed the duvet from her body.

　　Annie groaned as she slowly opened her eyes.

　　“Good morning.” She greeted her best friend.

　　“Hi, love.” Ella hugged her.

　　“What time is it?” Annie asked, pulling away from the hug.

　　“10:23 which is very strange since you’re an early riser.”

　　“It’s Saturday, Ella, don’t blame me, besides I slept very late. When did you arrive?” She asked, using the back of her palm to rub her eyes.

　　“Few minutes past eight, I checked up on you, you were sleeping so peacefully so I decided to give you more time to rest.”
