Truly Beautiful

She spun in the dress. It was a cute strawberry dress with a white blouse underneath, however, it made legs look twice as long, if possible. She thought.

She let her hair flow over her shoulders and put on the brown boots accompanied, before exiting and making her way down the stairs. She strolled through the now open ground, the crowd from early no longer there, giving her a chance to admire the area. 'It truly is beautiful,' She passed her finger over one of the columns and then stood at the wooden door Indigo told her to go.

It was rather heavy when she pushed them open.

She stepped outside, another ground which resembled a hall, however, it was outside where she could see trees and plants through the open spaces, and over her head, there were unique designs sculpted.

Her eyes kept wandering as she walked, it was too good to be true. There were many lanes in which could go, but she followed straight ahead, narrowing her eyes at the peaking light. 'That must be the entrance.'

Through the open door arch, she was greeted with the beauty of nature. She stood in awe. The ground where she was standing had a stone walkway and on both sides, plants were decorated neatly. Tall trees standing proud further down, the plants colorful and healthy. Walking along with the stone, trees were sculpted to look like a maze, with a statue of a lady with wings in the center.

Past the statue was a long plain, open and wide before a large gate could be seen. Amber looked on both her sides, on her right was a staircase accompanied with a locked gate and on her left, she supposed is where she had to go.

Curving the corner, Amber stepped on a road. It was the entrance, a large closed gate at the end. She stared through the gate, seeing the market she saw from the room window.'Apple pies.'

The sound of soft talking brought her out from fantasizing. She cocked her head to the side and crossed the road where the maze continued, walking along a stone path.

She followed the voices and came across a tiny open gate. Through the gate was a full table; Indigo, Arveion, Arsan, as well as a few others she didn't meet yet sat around it, eating a fancy breakfast.

Amber walked silently up to the gate, attempting to sneakily sit at the table without interrupting their conversation, but failed miserably when her dress got caught in the plant.

A little gasp escaped her lips when she jerked forward, luckily she caught herself just in time when they looked at her; seeing only when she was straightening the skirt of the dress. She sent them a nervous smile as they peered at her.

'I seriously need to stop embarrassing myself.' She inwardly scolded herself and walked over to the table.

She shifted on her feet when she met Arveion's cold deadpan pupils. There was only one remaining chair and of course, Arveion had to be the one to claim it, the chair being right between him and a red girl with his feet resting comfortably on top of it. 'He definitely placed his feet there on purpose.'

She stood staring into his brown pupils but he did not attempt to move.

"Uhm, can I…"

"What?" His eyes dilated at her before breaking contact and turning his head as if to say,' He's not moving.'

"Your feet…" She looked at his black boots, "There's nowhere else to go." She told him and he turned back to her, a scowl on his face.

"Well, I'm happy you see that you don't belong here. Wherever else it has to go, it's not here."

"You—"Amber folded her lips and was about to give a comeback but Indigo cut her off.

"Arveion give the girl a seat." She rolled her eyes, "Or do you want me to remove your leg myself."

Amber smiled to herself, that was almost the words she was going to say, however it would've sounded far more ugly.

He removed his shoes and folded his arm over his chest, leaning back on the chair, "Like I'll want you to touch me." He snarled at her.

Amber dragged out the chair and took a seat at the plate in front of her. A man, dressed in a neat suit greeted her right after a plate in his hand which he placed on the table.

"Thank you." She gave him a single nod and smiled sweetly.

The table was so classy with shiny teacups and silver plates. She looked at the deliciousness in front of her and was about to take a bite when she felt eyes on her.

The table was in awkward silence as everyone was looking at Amber, the only sound made was the clinging of the utensils.

She sent them a grin, before returning her head to the food. Her stomach was growling so loud she was sure everyone could have heard it with the place already being so silent.

She let out a moan when she bit into the sandwich. The juice of the tart, slipping on her fingers.

"Can you be anymore disgustingly embarrassing?" Amber parted her hair to look at the blonde woman in front of her, along with the others, the next bite halfway to her lips. She licked her fingers. Was there something wrong?

She then looked down at her messy hands compared with their perfectly clean hands from using the equipment.

She could already feel Arveion's eyes sending daggers to the side of her head. She gulped. 'Embarrassment count=way too much.'

"I'm sorry." She picked up the matching silver utensils. A knife in one hand and spork in the other. Her hands kept slipping while using the spork and wondered what made sense using such fancy kitchenware if she wasn't going to enjoy the food, creating even more of a mess as everything kept falling everywhere but in her mouth.

She ate in silence with a stupid spork in her hands feeling rather uncomfortable. The silence continued for a while until the sound of the violin could be heard. It must be the girl she saw playing earlier reminding her of the beautiful market. She looked through the gate, honestly, she'd prefer to be at that other place.

"Eh em." A throat cleared and  Amber turned to meet the voice, "Is there something wrong, Miss Lane?" Arsan asked and she dismissed him by shaking her head.  She was about to take another bite, positioning her hand to cut the tart once again but her hand position on the filled table caused her to knock off a cup of hot tea, spilling directly on Arveion's shoe. How perfect.

He flew off the chair, a deadpan expression on his face. Amber folded her lips in a thin line, "I'm so sorry." She got up to face him, and reached a jittery hand to him but only to be brushed off.

She fiddles with her fingers.

At the same time, the table was slammed, " I can't believe this is what the prophecy chose. And I seriously can't believe you all are accepting it." The blonde girl scoffs, looking at Amber with disgust.

Her accent is mixed with British. "Oh wait until the Queen sees this."

Amber turned to Indigo, her eyebrows knitted together when she whispered, "Did I do something wrong?"

Woah it's been a while. I've been saving chapters offline, but I do hope you all like these recent ones. :) Reason why: There's a lot of exciting things coming.
