“Fifth grade math and English.”
“I don’t see why we couldn’t do that. If he’s been going to St Mark’s for a couple of years, he’ll certainly be well-grounded.”
“To complete two courses in one summer will require a great deal of hard work,” Sarah said.
“He’s used to that, and he’s highly motivated,” Mitch said. “He wants to be a doctor like his mother was, and he wants it badly.”
“Very good,” she said.
“Needless to say, we’d want to pay you for your services,” Mitch said
“We wouldn’t know what to charge,” Sarah said. “We’ve talked about starting a very small private school but haven’t really researched the fees being charged.”
“I’ve called a couple of private schools to find out what they charge for summer school,” Mitch said, and named an amount. “The problem is that none of them offer both of the courses he needs.”
