"If you have the slightest awareness of your status now, you know you should just leave the Mccarthy family, right? Bet you aren't even aware of the social standing of the Lowery family and you still have the nerves to step into high society?" Kairi kept quiet throughout the helper's tongue-lashing. The servant became more and more cocky as she thought that Kairi was afraid.

Kairi lowered her eyes and stared at her milk-drenched clothes. The milk was still dripping down onto the messy puddle on the floor where the glass fragments and bits of eggs were, all mixed together.

Her appearance now was the epitome of pathetic.

"What are you doing?" The person asking the question sounded confuse.

Charlie held his briefcase in his hand and walked over with a puzzled look. When he saw Kairi sitting there with her head down and all covered in milk stains, his expression changed slightly.
