Chapter 15 Time’s Up

"Ms. Lowery, according to the results of the examination, the internal linings of your uterus are particularly thin. An abortion will lead to a major haemorrhage. In the worst case scenario, it will be life-threatening for you, and even if you make it through the procedure, you'd be infertile for life. We do not recommend that you have an abortion."

Hearing that, Kairi frowned. Kamila, who was beside her, was also taken back. "Abortion not recommended?"

"Correct, not recommended." The doctor gently sighed, "Please reconsider your decision."

Kamila frowned as they left the hospital. "If you can't have an abortion, what are you going to do? God, this is so annoying!"

"I don't know either."

"I'll send you home first."

Kairi nodded and then shook her head. "Send me to the office instead."

When they arrived at the building of Granite Limited, Kamila said, "Go ahead. I'll call the doctor on your behalf for more information when I get back."
