Chapter 909: Visiting the Professor, Academician Norman Swift
Entering the house,
the interior was warm and simple. An elderly man with grey hair sat on the sofa, holding a newspaper in his hands.
His face bore the traces of years gone by, yet his eyes were bright and clear, untouched by the murkiness of age.
It had been years since they had seen each other, and the teacher had aged quite a bit compared to the one in her memory.
Caroline set the fruit basket on the table and, upon glancing at the newspaper in the elder's hand, she smiled and kindly reminded him, "Teacher, you're holding the newspaper upside down."
Her clear voice broke the silence in the room.
Norman Swift put the newspaper down, his face tight and stern as he huffed, "What do you know? I've recently taken a liking to reading the newspaper this way. It helps to improve concentration and thinking, effectively preventing senile dementia."
Hearing his earnest nonsense, Caroline's eyes sparkled with deeper amusement.
