5 Ch5: Curse mark

At the hospital, medical team was taking Kakashi and hinata to find out what happened to them. So, Himawari had to wait outside the chekup room. The hokage came to visit. He saw Himawari waiting outside. He wasn't close to her like with Boruto. So, he started taking as the Hokage.

"What happened to them?"

"Last time they had consciousness; they went inside a portal at the land of silence. They told me to wait outside. Usually, it would take 2 to 3 minutes to check the place for traps. This time they didn't come back. So, I went inside and found them like this. They were alive but they had this curse mark on them."

"A curse mark?"

"This one, I've never seen it before."

"Is it…"

"it's not a kama like big brother Boruto and Kawaki had. I told you I've never seen one like this"

"We will find out what it is. Boruto will be here soon. So, I must be prepared"

"Prepared? For what?"

"You will see"

While they were talking, the hospital front door was opened with lighting. A streak of lightning started moving faster through the stairs. It reached the corridor and was coming towards them. Hokage came in front of the checkup door and

A prison appeared before them and captured that streak with ease.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to use your speed in public?"

"Let me out! I want to see them"

Himawari moved aside from the Hokage

"Big brother?"

"Hima?"

Himawari started crying. She ran towards Boruto. Hokage released his prison at the same time. Boruto hugged his sister.

'How long has it been since the last time she hugged me? My little sister grew up and I wasn't there beside her. Damn Momoshiki! If it wasn't for you, people wouldn't have seen me as a threat. How many missions? I had to stay aside from them. You too brother. I take the blame for your emo attitude. Look at my sister crying right now. She wouldn't have to go through this if you had listened to me'

"Hima, don't cry! I'm here now."

"I am sorry. I wasn't there to protect them"

Checkup room opened and Chizune came out it. Smiling Hokage turned around and asked

"What's the status?"

"Their chakra was absorbed by something. So, they are unconscious right now"

"What about the curse mark?"

"I was coming to that point. That mark is preventing them from regaining their consciousness. It is taking over their body"

"So, their body is like vessels just like I was?" Boruto intervened. Chizune looked at the young Uzumakis and spoke

"No, these marks like parasites but they are not alive. Both Kakashi and Hinata must have had these marks for a long time"

"What?"

"According to the analyzing team, the marks were evolving on their body. Once the evolution was completed, they waited for the right moment to take their body"

Himawari moved forward and spoke

"So, whatever was in that portal must have absorbed their chakra which led the marks to take control over their body"

"Kakashi sensei's chakra level is very low. He has been in situations where he was out of chakra"

Boruto sighed and spoke "come on big brother! She told those marks were evolving right? Maybe their evolution wasn't completed in those situations you were talking about"

"Sorry, I missed that part"

Himawari asked "Are you alright Hokage? It's like you're not paying attention to things"

"Don't worry about me. It's just work pressure. My clones are still working. I am just getting their feelings." He stared at the ceiling. There was a complete silence. Boruto whispered at Himawari's ears "So, big brother Konohamaru is weird these days. We need to find out what's happening"

"Yeah, but right now we need to find a way to get rid of these curse marks out of Kakashi sensei and mom's bodies."

Chizune slapped Hokage on the back of his head. "Come back to the reality Hokage".

Konohamaru realized felt the hit and turned his head at Chizune. She frowned her eyebrows.

"So, can we remove these marks?"

Chizune made a sad face at the uzumakisa. "Unfortunately, we tried everything. All methods of Orochimaru sensei. None of them worked."

Boruto clinched his fists. He started thinking. "Did miss Sakura check on them?"

"She is busy with some other patient. I don't think even she has the necessary skills to help them"

"I am not giving up. I lost my father. Not my mother too. We don't know what those thinks would do to them"

Hokage put his hands on boruto's shoulder. Boruto calmed down after realizing that he is scaring his siter.

"I have a suggestion, but it may take a while. Chizune, their life isn't at danger now, right?"

"They are alive, but they can't live longer without their own chakra regenerating. They have two or three weeks"

"Call Team 5 of Ise Udan!"

Others looked at him awkwardly.

"For what?" Asked Boruto.

"Mission to find princess Tsunade, part2"

Himawari whispered at boruto "Why is he talking like that?"

"He says he is busy, but he always has a clone watching movies at home"

Author's note: hello everyone. As you may know, the ship in the last chapter wasn't a popular one. I thought that this would be something new for readers. I was even going to put a note, saying "warning! This chapter contains a ship that no one wanted" but I forgot to do it while publishing. I am writing this fanfic to express some fantasies which must stay a fantasy. I don't want anyone to get affected by them.
