Chapter 1 - Taking care of flowers

It's an early summer morning, the gentle rays of the sun seep through the window into Boruto's bedroom, trying to wake him up, but the guy was sleeping peacefully and wasn't even going to get up, however, it was like that until the phone rang.

The first three rings, he still continued to lie, then they became more irritable, Uzumaki had to open his eyes and answer the "dream intruder".

"I'm listening," Boruto said listlessly, scratching his head.

"Are you still asleep?" - after a couple of seconds, a couple of seconds, he realized from the voice that it was Sarada.

"Yes, can you imagine, I'm talking to you in a dream, you saw the time, it's not even nine o'clock, is there something urgent?" Boruto asked.

"We have been assigned a new mission, I will tell you the details on the spot so that it's enough to sleep, I'm waiting for you at the Yamanaka flower shop," Sarada said and immediately hung up.

Boruto leaned back on the bed looking at the ceiling.

"That's enough sleep."

After lying around a little more, the guy reluctantly got up, dressed and went downstairs, there was a delicious smell of breakfast coming from there, which he can't taste, otherwise he will be late for a meeting with Sarada, from which he can fly in if he is late.

"Good morning son" - Hinata was washing dishes with Hina, who was standing next to her and wiping wet dishes.

"Good morning Mom.." - Boruto still answered sluggishly.

"Your breakfast is on the table, be sure to eat." - Hinata said insistently.

"Not mom, I have a mission, but as soon as I come, I will definitely eat." - Boruto said and, ignoring his Hinata, ran into the hallway without even listening to her further.

Today the weather was pleasant, a light wind was blowing, so it was not as stuffy as it usually is in summer.

Boruto walked leisurely to the flower shop, thinking about the mission they were assigned, the path was short, so soon the guy came to the meeting place, where Sarada was already waiting.

"Because of what kind of task I was forced to wake up without even having breakfast, to come here at such an early hour." Boruto said, raising an eyebrow and looking at his girlfriend.

"It's not early, you're just sleeping for a long time," Sarada snorted, and then continued, "Our task is to take care of the shop until Inojin and his family return from their trip... That's about a month."

"Why should we take care of the flower shop?" Boruto asked.

"As I was told, you and I are the only ones who are not busy with anything at the moment," Sarada replied, adjusting her glasses on the bridge of her nose.

- "Well, there... And I wanted to try a new game! It will take a whole month to tinker with these flowers." - Boruto said, looking at the blue sky with his plaintive gaze.

"Don't whine, it's better to do something useful than to sit all day and play the console." - said Sarada, feeling annoyed by her friend.

"Believe me, everyone can water the flowers.." Boruto said, pouting his lips with a straw.

"Just don't start, you won't try, you won't find out," Sarada replied, patting him on the shoulder.

So from the very morning until the evening they were busy with flowers, studying and classifying them, some of them were familiar to the guys, while others saw them for the first time. In fact, it is much more difficult than in words, so Boruto had to take back his words and that this is quite an easy job.

"Oh shit.. It's so complicated.. And how did Aunt Ino cope with all this?" Boruto said, stretching his back.

"I told you it's not as easy as it seems at first glance.." replied Sarada without lifting her head from the book.

She was studying a book about flowers, because Boruto found it boring and uninteresting, so she had to get acquainted with all this on her own.

After finishing, the guys went home, darkness had already reigned on the street, the wind stopped blowing and it was terribly stuffy, exhausted and tired Boruto got home without having dinner, he went to bed thinking about the work ahead..
