Chapter 3: The Legendary Three

I was once part of the Radiant Eight, a formidable group in my previous world on Kaimi. [Kaimi: Refers To The Protagonist's Old world]

With a snap of my fingers, I could command my country's army to kneel before me, and I had bested competitors from different countries.

Swordsmanship,Magic and controlling ki were my strengths, for personal strength was vital to being a protector in that world.

I have been reincarnated into this new world, and my proudest moment came when I learned to crawl!

Until now, I relied on my mother's stories to lull me to sleep, and my father occasionally sat me on his lap while sharing tales of his old days, giving me glimpses of this new world when he use to be free.

My father, Hatake Kakashi, is the Sixth Hokage, considered the boss of all ninjas in this world. He has had extensive experience in his ninja career, taking part in various missions, searching for missing people, and fulfilling duties from the Hokage office.

My parents, it seems, were classmates in their youth and reunited after a war. I find it amusing how my mother fell for my father at first sight when they were classmates.

My name is now Ryuji Hatake, though I prefer to go by Ryu for short. As a former fallen champion, the name sounded a bit cute, but I'm growing into my own identity. I have my mother's green hair and my father's dark eyes.

I can't wait to see how my features will develop as I mature, as long as I don't end up fat.

I finally succeeded in crawling after weeks of trying, managing to sneak into the family's Study room while my mother was busy. She jokes that I'll be just as hard to manage as my father.

Reflecting on what I've read in the Ninja Book, I realize this world is far more developed than my previous one. There are technological advancements, unlike the horse-driven carriages and sail ships of my old world.

However, there's not much information available about other villages besides the five, including the one where we currently live.

The concept of jutsu in this world is going to be challenging to get used to. On Kaimi, practitioners harnessed ki from within their bodies to enhance their abilities.

But here, it's called chakra, a malleable energy that exists not only within living beings but also in the atmosphere. It serves as the primary source of power for ninjas, enabling them to perform extraordinary techniques.

Chakra has elemental properties like fire, water, wind, earth, and lightning, which can be harnessed to create powerful jutsu. I wonder if ki ever existed in the atmosphere on Kaimi, or if it was lost due to pollution caused by humans.

Although my innate ki center wasn't large, I was considered a prodigy in utilizing my ki efficiently, making me the strongest among the Radiant Eight. As I embrace my new life as Ryuji Hatake, I am excited for the adventures that lie ahead in this fascinating and dynamic world of chakra and ninja powers.

As I grow older and more aware of my surroundings, my father's stories also got evolved and started telling me about his former students which began to intrigue me.

He speaks fondly of Naruto Uzumaki, a hyperactive and optimistic ninja with dreams of becoming the Hokage, just like my dad.

Naruto was a jinchuriki, someone who had a powerful tailed beast sealed inside him, which made him an outcast in the village.

But despite his hardships, Naruto's determination and perseverance allowed him to overcome challenges and gain the respect of his peers. I liked him too.

He plays with me often when he visits and sometimes he comes by bringing his son. His son also seems to be around my age

Then there's Sasuke Uchiha, a prodigious young ninja from the Uchiha clan, who was considered a genius. He was my father's rival in their youth, and his path was marked by tragedy and revenge.

Sasuke sought power to avenge his clan's downfall and believed that by acquiring strength, he could protect those he cared about.

However, his pursuit of power led him down a dark path, straining his relationships and testing his loyalty.

My father also mentioned Sakura Haruno, a talented and intelligent ninja who was part of their team. In the beginning, she lacked combat skills compared to Naruto and Sasuke, but she worked tirelessly to catch up with them. Sakura had a crush on Sasuke and eventually they got married.

I don't have much to say about that.

It's fascinating to hear about these legendary figures who were once my father's students. They each had their struggles and strengths, and their stories continue to influence the village and shape the world I now call home.

As I delve further into the world of ninjutsu and chakra, I realize that my background in harnessing ki on Kaimi might offer a unique perspective on mastering chakra techniques.

Perhaps the principles of efficiency and control that I learned from my previous life can be applied in this new world of shinobi.

Though I'm just starting to crawl in this life, I can't help but wonder what kind of ninja I'll become. Will I follow in my father's footsteps and strive to be a great Hokage one day before going back? Or will my journey take a different path altogether?

Only time will tell, but one thing is certain—I'm determined to make my mark in this world of hidden villages, powerful jutsu, and extraordinary adventures.
