The place was destroyed, the tents were blown away and set on fire, tens of dead bodies were lying around the destroyed clearing, trees uprooted, torn, and burnt explosion tags scattered around, along with torn limbs.
The bandit camp turned out to be bigger than we thought. 'There's still more. We've killed almost twenty people, so why don't I feel any guilt?' I asked myself. 'I should feel guilt; only then will I understand the pain of the people and reflect on myself to truly understand.'
Jumping away as more kunai and shuriken were thrown my way, I landed on a boulder that was created when the ground shattered from Sarada's chakra punch.
Turning around and blocking a kunai with mine, I threw one of mine behind me from my left hand, disrupting the rogue ninja dashing toward me, aiming at my back. Rocking from the explosion that occurred behind me, I slightly jerked my kunai, deflecting the kunai of my enemy, making him lose balance. With one swift cut, his throat was slashed, and he fell down.
The leader of the bandit gang, Kenjaku Koyama, known as the 'Rat,' sneaks into places he shouldn't, earning his 'Rat' alias after surviving numerous attempts on his life by different people.
"Tch. You fools! Dying to little kids! What useless fellows," he muttered as he retrieved a peculiar glove-like device and slipped it onto his arm. "With this, you can't kill me, hehehehe!"

3RD POV.
Nagato scrutinized the glove and quickly deduced that it was some kind of advanced scientific ninja tool. Without hesitation, he formed hand seals and exclaimed, "Lightning Style: Lightning Bullet!" Releasing his jutsu, it surged through the area, causing considerable devastation around Kenjaku and himself.
Or so they believed, but witnessing Kenjaku emerge unscathed left Team 7 in stunned disbelief. They saw the destruction wrought by Nagato's jutsu, but how could Kenjaku remain unharmed?
"Heh heh, as long as I have this, I am invincible!" Kenjaku taunted, extending his gloved hand toward the four of them, his palm directed at them. Lightning energy coalesced around his palm, and he unleashed Nagato's jutsu right back at them.
"Fall back!" Konohamaru shouted as he leaped away, and his students followed suit. "That scientific ninja tool absorbs jutsu and reflects them!" Boruto quickly informed his comrades as he formed a cross sign, creating fifteen shadow clones to stand before him.
Their rigorous training from the previous year began to yield results. Boruto could now produce ten to fifteen shadow clones without straining his chakra reserves. Together, they charged back toward Kenjaku, launching a barrage of punches and kicks.
It became evident that Kenjaku lacked combat experience and had heavily relied on his tool for far too long, making him an easy target.
"Hey! Sarada! Mitsuki! Boruto! Let's do 'that,' then it'll be a piece of cake," Nagato suggested, a sly smirk gracing his face—a look that was reflected on his comrades, except for Mitsuki.
"Let's do this," Boruto agreed, and Sarada and Mitsuki nodded in unison. They swiftly began weaving complex hand signs, channeling a significantly larger amount of chakra than usual.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball!" Sarada incanted, preparing to spew forth flames from her mouth.
"Lightning Style: Lightning Bullet!" Nagato declared, his hands charged with crackling lightning chakra.
"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" Mitsuki's voice rang out, his anticipation matching the building energy.
"Lightning Style: Thunderclap Arrow!" Boruto shouted, sealing the combination jutsu as their chakra intertwined, creating a colorful yet formidable amalgamation of jutsu, each one seamlessly merging with the others.
Watching the combination jutsu executed flawlessly by his students, Konohamaru felt a surge of pride. Although he hadn't had the chance to train them extensively, he had imparted the fundamental knowledge of Rasengan to both Nagato and Boruto.
Kenjaku's mouth hung open in a futile, silent scream as he beheld the massive jutsu heading straight for him. He realized there was nothing he could do to escape it—the chakra was overwhelming to absorb, and the jutsu's speed had been enhanced by lightning style, making evasion impossible.
"At last, my time has finally come," he muttered, resigned to his fate. Just a moment later, the jutsu struck the ground and engulfed his body. It seared through him, disintegrating every part of him and leaving behind a scorched and devastated clearing.
"Mission complete!"

Location : Hokage office-Konoha.
"So, congratulations on completing your first mission as Team Seven. As one of the previous Team 7 members and the current Hokage, I am proud of all of you," Naruto congratulated his sons and their team members with a warm smile.
"Thank you, Lord Hokage!" Team Seven chorused as they bowed slightly. "Alright, I have Hokage work to do, so you guys are dismissed," Naruto said, shooing them away, with Shikamaru wearing a slight smile.
"Ah! How about we go to Ichiraku?" Boruto suggested as they all left the Hokage's office.
"You guys go, I have something to do," Konohamaru replied, about to leave.
"Are you sure, Big Bro Konohamaru?" Nagato asked with a sly smile.
"Yes, yes," Konohamaru waved them away as he started to walk. But when Nagato mentioned "Big Sis Hanabi would be coming too".
Konohamaru halted his steps and turned around like a statue. "Aah, I just remembered I'm really hungry. Eating something before going would be a good idea," he said with an embarrassed smile.
"Hehe, hahaha!" They all laughed as they went to Ichiraku, met with Hanabi, enjoyed their meal, and eventually went their separate ways.

Six months later
Location : konoha training grounds.
Blue lightning zipped around the training ground, accompanied by dark flashes and the occasional clash of weapons.
Sarada and her best friend Nagato paused their training, jumping back to the edge of the training ground.
Meanwhile, Mitsuki and Boruto were training on a separate field, all of them preparing for the upcoming Chunin Exams.
Armed with an arsenal of jutsu they had earned through completing numerous missions in the past six months, they were now fully prepared for the Chunin Exams.
With the exams upon them, they were determined to outshine competitors from other villages, each of them harboring their own rivalry and ambitions.
"You do know that I'm winning this, right?" Nagato's voice echoed across the training ground as he taunted her with a smirk.
"Oh? Is that so? Don't cry when you lose, then," Sarada shot back, refusing to back down in their verbal battle.
"You guys! You are both gonna lose, I'm gonna win this, ya know!" Boruto yelled as he and Mitsuki strolled onto the training grounds, sporting a small smirk.
"I'll support you, Boruto."
'Like always, Mitsuki is Simping for Boruto again.' Sarada and Nagato thought as they deadpanned.
"Then it's settled, let's win this no matter what, no hard feelings though!" Raising his fist for a fist bump, Nagato exclaimed, with his team members also smiling and joining in.
From a distance, Konohamaru watched the team and smiled to himself, 'They are growing up well, big bro Naruto, I'll take good care of them.'
