Cheap BASTARD!

Set was in his room drooling over the money he got, legally... if anyone asked. The only thing he managed to say was "So much! So... So much!". After a while of excitement, he managed to calm himself down. He stored the coins in his inventory and brought out his LEGALLY acquired belongings. There were swords, axes, daggers, armor plates, food pills, elixir, and even coins from silver to gold. Those rich bastards didn't even have a single copper coin! The list went on from rare ores to a variety of sword skills and so on. Set was over the moon. He returned all the items back into the inventory except for a numbered few and immediately sold them to the shop. But he was excited and depressed at the same time. That was because when he sold them he was given in return blood points, 186 to be exact. Increasing his total tally to 758.

Making the exchange currency blood points. Although that was a bad thing for him it also gave him advantages. Like if he is running low on blood points and is being chased by a bloodshot beast, he could just sell his weapons or armor or any belonging to the system in return for blood points. Set looking at the increase in his blood point tally was extremely happy. But then and there he was giving a grand idea! He went into the inventory and brought out one copper coin. He then, with a smile on his face, tried to sell the coin.

"I'm a genius! No one in the world can compare! HA!HA!HA!" He sounded like a maniac. But his high was immediately shut down by the system.

[Can not be SOLD!]. After that, an emoji was sent. The emoji was that of a smiling devil. Set looking at this was infuriated! "You bastard!"

The system was just as sneaky as Set was. Set was planning to sell all the copper coins to the system but of course, the system didn't allow cheating. Just thinking about it made Set want to cry. But he quickly moved on. The items he kept were Amano Ena's crystal sword, three sword skills, five blocks of rare ores, twenty bottles of food pills, and a World-class metal crane beast mount. The last one being the mount the three used to get to Set so quickly. Set looking at the palm-sized metal crane was curious.

The crane was the size of a palm, it was silver in color and had a light glow. It was apparent that the crane didn't have its own power, and would inherit the power of whoever used it. So he injected the metal crane with his power. Quickly the small, peacefully crane turned into a three-meter tall fire raging monster. Set was stunned, he quickly withdrew his power. He was quick to withdraw his power because if it continues his whole room would have been destroyed. He quickly stored the crane and shifted his attention.

He then looked at the coins with greed and excitement. The coins were both silver and gold. The amount came to be 227,000 and 87,000 coins respectively. Seeing this amount, Set was about to cry from happiness. He has never seen this much money before. He quickly sent it back to the inventory and proceeded to examine the rest.

Set next looked at the food pill bottles. Food pills were wonderful little things. Created by modern science and technology, one food pill had enough nutrients in it to last somebody a whole week. But that wasn't the greatest thing about food pills, if stored in their containers they would never get spoiled! Set opened a bottle and took one out. An attractive fragrance wafted from the bottle making the whole room smell delicious. The food pill had a dark blue color and was perfectly round like a pearl. Set swallowed the pill. It tasted a bit bland but who really cared. After a few seconds of laying in his stomach, the pill started to release energy throughout his body, making him feel energetic. And the best part was, he had twenty of these bottles, while each bottle had 10 pills. So that meant he had two hundred food pills... if we included the one he just ate!

Set excitedly stored the bottles, and turned his attention to the ores.

The metal ores were quite rare and were used to make different weapons of different grades. If forged properly they will be crafted into World-class weapons... heck, if forged by a forge master they might even be able to create Emperor-class weapons. But if not, the only yield would be scraps, and if you're lucky a Demon-class item. Set looked at the metal ore and curiously asked the system, "Hey, can you be able to forge a weapon for me?". Set was not planning on that working but he was surprised by the reply.

[Of course I can, but it is going to be costly...]

Set hearing this felt depressed. "How much?" he asked.

[500 blood points]

Set's eyes almost popped out of their sockets listening to the price. "Are you fucking crazy?!" Set was angry. If the system ripped him off every chance it got then he was sure he would die, not by ferocious beasts, but by this greedy system!

[It was actually supposed to be five thousand but giving that you are a beginner I knocked the last digit off]

Hearing this Set was skeptical. The system might have not lied to Set in the past but nothing was stopping it from starting. Set asked a couple of questions and the system answered. The system could make an Emperor-class weapon but Set was way too cheap to consciously cough up that unbelievable sum. For now, Set stored the metal ore. The only things left were the crystal sword and the sword skills. He held the sword to get a feel for it. The sword was simply perfect. He injected his power into the sword and there was no resistance. Incredibly, Saint-class energy was released from the sword.

"Truly a sword for the rich!", Set complemented the sword before storing it.

He turned to the sword skills and started reading them. But before he could finish a single line the system sent a notification.

[Skill Ghost Bone has been detected. Would you like to learn it?]

Set was flabbergasted. He had doubted the system's motives when it drove a super high price but now he knew the truth. The system never wanted to rip Set off, it just wanted to help him.

"Yes, Yes I would like to learn it". Set was really happy by the system but that was immediately changed.

[Cost 10 Blood points]

"You BASTARD! YOU CHEAP BASTARD!". Set ended up paying 30 blood points to learn the three sword skills.

After a while of back and forth, Set stopped. He jumped on his bed and started playing video games. The sky turned dark and the sunset, but Set was still playing video games. Finally, when he could nearly keep his eyes open, he stopped and went to sleep. When morning came, Set unusually got up early. He brought out his hand and from it, white cloudy smoke floated down to the ground. The cloud built up until it was the same size as Set. The cloud started to take the shape of a man and within a few minutes, another Set was born. Set commanded his clone to go to school, you know to keep up appearances. That was because Set had not graduated. So until he graduated he was obligated to go to school.

After having his clone recite his instructions like an anthem, he tidied himself up and skillfully sneaked out of the house. He made his way to the teleporter and teleported to the celestial plane.
