He then started to recall where he had dropped it.

"F**k the girl took it."

"Hedrick, you are now dead meat he said as he hit his head against the nearest tree.

Upon arriving home,the home was large twice the one of Mayla. It was relatively one of the biggest houses on the planet.As soon as he stepped in the compound, some workers were seen scared while the younger maids were wishing if they could only spend a night with him as his personal maid.

Later a man stood at the back door as Hedrick was trying to sneak into the house.

"Childish tricks." the man said

"So where have you been? tell me. " He added.

"I can smell a human scent on you ,did you fight with anyone?"

"Zed,come one." he replied with a smile.

"I was just in the forest and saved a girl who had been powered by a Malf."

"Was she pretty?"Zed said teasingly.

"Did you kiss?"he added with a smile on his face.

"Let me take a shower before dad comes home."Hedrick said as he dashed off up stairs to his room.

"You didn't answer my questions."Zed shouted attracting the attention of people nearby.

"Sorry! sorry!please carry on.''

As Hedrick was taking a shower, making were flashing through his head thinking of the little girl he had saved. He later dressed in a white shirt and blue jeans as headed downwards for supper.

Down on the dining table man could be seen sitting down at the end. He was had long hair,brown eyes and was dressed in a black shirt with white trousers. Next to him was Zed who had a pale face upon seeing Hedrick coming down.

"Oh!seems you are in hot soup." said Hedrick in a small tone.

He then bowed down to the man and sat opposite Zed. Then meet was placed on the table along side with a drink. Taking the drink on the table, he finds out that it is blood. His eyes begin to turn red while his finger nails were getting sharper; his upper two teeth were beginning to sharper and come out. Getting off the table, he began running towards the back door.The guards at the gate saw him coming and tried to stop him but that was not enough. He passed through them like the two were feathers being blown by wind and out of sight he went heading towards the forest.Wispers were being hard everywhere.

"It's the Demon Child." One of the maids said.

"What about him?" The other asked.

"He turned immediately he had tested the drink." the other replied.

"Seems he won't be considered a vampire after all but a demon." The other said.

Dorsey Johnson the man who had been sitting down on the table would hear the whispers as if they were next to his own ear. Unlike humans vampire had great hearing skills,sight supernatural strength and speed.

He clenched a fist upon Zed seeing the anger in his father's eyes he got off the chair and moved backwards; a sound was heard as Dorsey had hit the table causing it to split into two. Fear could be seen in the eyes of those who were standing near him.

"Who put blood in that drink?"

"I sir."a maid knelt down shivering.

A man came running trembling and knelt on his two feet crying.

"Forgive her sir,she is new here"

"I'll take the blame please punish me sir"

"Please spare her."

Tear could be seen running down his checks down the ground. Dorsey had calmed down looking at the emotional scene then bent down looking at the girl and placed his fingers on her chin making her look upwards as tears continued running down.He then got a handkerchief from his pocket.

" What is your name?" He asked with a polite tune.

" Elsa... " She replied in a shaking tone.

"Well ,wipe your tears." He said as he placed the handkerchief in her other hand.

He gave a sign and two men came and took her away.

" Is she your daughter?" He asked looking at the man.

"Yes..." He said shaking as tears were seen all over his face.

"Make sure this doesn't happen again."

"Yes, sir."

"You can go." He said as he walked away.

"Zed."he shouted

"Yes,Dad."he answered.

" Go find the so called Demon Child" he said quoting the name Demon Child.

"Go back to your work." He said pointing to the audience that had been watching the show.

He then moved to his study room that seemed full of books. Then removed one of the books that seemed to hiding a button. Upon pressing it,the shelf that had seemed to be holding the books opened and upon entering it closed and looked like a normal shelf. He then headed to a screen that looked like a tv and switched on using the remote on the table.

A message had appeared on the screen.

"𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑃𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑝𝑎𝑙..."

"Good evening,Mr.Johnson." the man on the screen greeted.

"Good evening, Mr. Edward."Dorsey replied.

"Did you think about it?"

"I mean the Demon Child,Sorry your younger son."

"It's okay."

"So when can I send him?"

"Anytime you wish,We will always receive him." He added

"I have a request."

"Go on Mr.Johnson."

" Make sure you to treat him like an ordinary vampire."

"Not many of the people know who he is."

"It's okay, I understand"

"Peace"

"Peace" the Principal replied as the screen went off.

Deep down in the forest,as Hedrick had calm down.An old man around his Seventies had approached him.

"Greetings Demon prince"the old man said.

"As Hedrick turned around,he could see an old man looking at him."

He then tried looking around,he could see no one else except himself and the old man.

" Are you talking to me?" Hedrick asked with a confused face.

"Yes, my prince."

"What! Me? Demon what..?"

" I guess the rumor is traveling fast."

"No my prince"

"You will soon find out the truth" he added.

"Stubborn!" a voice shouted.

He then turned around.

"Zed?" He replied.

Turning around the man was nowhere to be seen.Zed had reached the scene.

"Did you see the old man?"Hedrick asked.

"What old man?"

"Nothing I guess it was just a dream."

"Let's go."

As they moved, Hedrick turned back trying to see if there was anyone. He was now seeing two men in black; trying to see clearly, there was no one.

"Come on."

"Let's hurry, it's getting dark." Zed shouted.
