Weather Dome

"So you're a fairy caelestian..." A sad and lonely voice stuttered.

I glanced back to find all of them staring at me in shock. I then turned to Adrian, his features softened. Adrian looked grumpy and Isaac looked impressed. But Jade... she instead ran towards me, grabbed my wrists, and spun us around in a circle. She was smiling and laughing for joy.

"I was right! I knew you would be a fairy!" She cheerfully said as the tree spirits danced around us. But I knew something was amiss in this situation. Jade saw my expression and she stopped spinning us around.

I was happy mere moments ago... but now... this meant I'm not human... I never was a human... I stepped away from Jade, stepped back away from them.

"I'm not a human anymore... I never was one..." I whispered.

The tree spirits and butterflies began to disappear as the weather changed around us. The sun began to hide as the clouds began their descent.

"Why am I a fairy?! Why am I not a human? Why did this all have to happen?! This feeling I have... this magic is too much for me!" At that moment, the mark began to burn and I just ran away from them.

I ran back into the forest, back to my little den. I could hear their yelling, their screams for me to return but none of them followed.

I glanced at my clothes, it was made out of flowers, and I knew I was naked underneath this frilly flower dress. My pin-straight hair was now turned to curls.

A fairy... I was a fairy... A fairy of what exactly?!

So everything I knew was a lie... I have now become something I never had dreamed of becoming in my entire life.

I always thought my parents were my real parents but now...

'My sister never had a daughter...'

Defearon's words ran through my head. Okay so I wasn't their daughter, so that must have meant that I should have been a human baby. I've grown up here. There's even baby pict-

No...

No pictures...

They never kept any baby pictures of me

There were always pictures of Felix and some pictures of me when I was four...

There was only from that time…

Unconsciously I began to dig the ground as the rain cascaded down on me.

"Azaliah..."

"He needs to die," I seethed.

"Who needs to die?"

"I need to kill Defearon! He ruined everything for me!" I yelled as the mark ached.

"If he had never shown up, my brother would be here and my parents would still be alive!" The soil soaked my skin and I stood up.

"I would still be going to medical school and trying to find a cure for my brother." I whimpered.

Adrian then walked forward, his clothes were dry but the second he stepped closer to me, his clothes immediately became wet. That's when I realized I was controlling a weather dome. I was in a dome-like structure.

Adrian pulled me into his arms, hugging me closely.

"I want to kill him, Adrian... I hate him so much!" I whispered and then slowly I put my arms around him.

"I want answers Adrian to all of my questions... how can my questions be answered?"

"Come with us to Edacitas." I glanced up at him.

"And from there we can search for answers together. And because you're a fairy, you will have to learn of your origins, and

to do that is to travel to Alitura." Adrian had this calming smile.

The aura that was radiating off of him had a calming nature to it. I inhaled his scent. It was mixed with nature and fire? Like burning coal of fire in the deep dark woods. The smell of the earth after a damp cold rainy day. Well, it would make sense cause we're standing under this dome.

Wait why am I sniffing him and sensing his aura as if I was a silly schoolgirl with a silly crush on the most handsome guy in the school.

I then gently looked up at Adrian. "I will come with you. I need to know everything there is about me and my family."

I then brought my fist up, clenching it. "I also have to murder someone." I seethed.

Adrian remained silent at my words and glanced at the dome.

"Your powers are manifesting. The transition is almost complete."

"Almost complete?" I thought I had already transformed into a proper caelestian...

No, I just wasn't human anymore...

"When a Caelestian transitions, they will first leave trackers of the power that resonates from them everywhere, thereafter there will have to be a trigger that activates the transition. And after you transform, that's when the final test begins."

I quietly took in the information. So many steps and it sounds so complicated.

"You'll have a different formation, a powerful one than the one you have now." He pointed at my outfit.

I eyed him, "when do we leave? The sooner I start this journey, the sooner I can kill him."

Adrian's features softened and he turned away from me.

"Well maybe if you put down this dome then we can prepare to leave."

Oh right, I unconsciously used my powers to create this dome.

"So I did this?"

"Yeah you did and it's a powerful barrier. If I hadn't used some of my strength then I wouldn't have broken it." Adrian stepped to the barrier and touched it.

"If this barrier is to protect me then why is it still raining?!" I huffed and the rain hit us 5 times stronger.

"The rain is protecting you and is healing your injuries." He pointed at my bruises that were slowly healing.

"And this barrier is shielding you from the enemies. And if I break this barrier, it will hurt you." He lightly punched the barrier and I felt a pang in my body.

Adrian became cautious and rushed to my side. I held my hand to assure him I was fine. I then closed my eyes and pictured the dome dissipating and the rain dying down. And when I opened my eyes, the skies began to clear as little rays of sunlight shined through.

I smiled, this power that I had felt was powerful. I could save Felix. I had healing abilities and maybe if I can heal then I could... The world then began to spin as my fairy form disappeared. Cold hands grabbed me and I clutched onto it.

"You used too much of your power at once."

"Will it come back?"

"Yes you just need some rest," he said and lifted me into his arms.

"All I've been doing is resting," I mumbled.

Adrian chuckled, "Resting is good, it means you're healing."

I could only sigh and wait now. Cause soon my story will begin and this time it's not the kind of adventure I imagined. Because this time, I'm not flipping pages and awaiting the next cliffhanger. This time I'll be living the story and this time I'll make sure the villain comes to an end.
