Jade still sat in the same position when Alvin came back using his ability. Half of her face was covered by her long hair as she leaned against the door. Though he had appeared out of nowhere like a phantom, Jade didn't bother to look at him due to the anger that was consuming her. When she turned to look at him, her eyes were glistering with tears that threatened to come out. "If you want to kill me just do it now you demon!" Jade said angrily and finally a drop of tear fell from the corner of her left eye which she didn't bother to wipe away.
Alvin could tell that if the girl in front of him would be given a chance to kill him, she would gladly do it because of the anger that was boiling from her insides. Though he was happy that the girl had not gone anywhere, he did not like the condition that she was in at that moment which made him walk to her and held her hand which was by her side and helped her get up. "Jade I don't plan to kill you. And the part of me being a demon...,I can't deny it because everyone has that side of them....the demon side." He said but jade did not agree with what he said.
"Not everyone is like you. Some of us prefer to have a peaceful life without destroying other people's happiness." Jade said as more tears continued to flow on her cheeks. "Are you talking about peaceful life? Yesterday when I saw you it did not seem as if you were having that peaceful life you are talking about right now. Or those vampires were actually your friends?" He asked with a smile which didn't leave his sinuous face. "That's because I was trying to run away from you. But it seems like you are a plague that I cannot run away from. So just kill me or I will do it myself." Jade said as she vent out all her anger and frustrations.
"How many times do I need to tell you that I don't want to kill you. Maybe it's time I give you a little taste of what I would want to do to you but I can't do that yet." With those words, Alvin grabbed Jade's wrist not so roughly so that he could not injure her and threw her to the lonely bed that was in the middle of the room. Jade who fell with her back against the bed tried to get up with the help of her elbows but before she could sit up, Alvin hovered above her and held her hands which were on either side.
"I think demonstration will work better for you more than words."He said as he slowly leaned closer to her parted lips but he did not kiss her. He continued to lower his head until his lips were a few inches from her throat. "Do you want to know what I want to do? I want to kiss those lips until they become swollen, then I can nibble your skin with my lips leaving marks on your pale skin then get rid of this dress that is hiding....." "Stop! just stop speaking you shameless bastard." Jade said angrily. She was mortified by the words that came out of his mouth. Why was he speaking so shamelessly to her? She was not his wife for goodness sake!
"You know, the need for me to have your body and soul is driving me insane, Jade. Everytime I close my eyes all I see is your face and now that you are actually here with me behind this closed door I feel like I want to unleash these hidden desires that I have." Alvin said while looking deeply into her eyes where she quickly averted her gaze. "Anyway, don't worry because I will not do that until you ask me for it. I will go get food for you, darling." He said as he got out through the very same door that Jade could not open.
Who was this man? She asked herself.
"I will have to go along with everything that this man says before I can find a way to escape." She thought out loud.
After a few minutes, Alvin showed up with food on a small tray. Though the food did not look that appealing, Jade ate the food without any complains due to hunger.
"Today we have to sleep early because we will be leaving this place first thing in the morning." Alvin said as he got on the bed. Jade who was about to finish her food turned to look at Alvin who had already covered himself with the blanket. "Where am I supposed to sleep?" She asked a little bit loudly so that she could gain the attention of the man had closed his eyes. "Of course you will sleep next to me unless you plan on sitting there throughout the night." Alvin replied in a bored tone. "I will sleep here then." Jade said decisively to which Alvin did not answer.
Jade spent almost two hours while trying to sleep with her head on the small wooden table but the cold weather could not allow her to sleep even for a minute. Slowly getting up, she walked up to where the demon slept. Though the light in the room was dim, she could see him peacefully sleeping. Now that she could look at him without him saying a word, she could see how handsome he was..."I hope that he does not wake up anytime soon." She thought with a sigh and slowly pulled the blanket and lay near the edge of the bed while only covering her feet.
After Jade finally slept, Alvin opened his eyes. He knew very well that this would happen since no human could stand such a cold weather that's why he did not bother to force her to sleep on the bed. Hearing her even breathing, he pushed her towards him and put his arm on her tiny waist.
