17 BSWS CH-17 Clashing with Zabuza Part-2

Zabuza panted while standing on top of the water, an expression of incredible rage evident on his face. He had fallen for a trap made by a Genin. a fresh out of the academy Genin brat had managed to hurt him enough to make him retreat!!!

"I am going to kill you !!!" Zabuza shouted as his chakra exploded with incredible pressure. He wove signs with incredible speed, completing them within seconds. Even Sakura was astonished at that speed.

He wove hand signs fast enough that even her chakra sensing cant accurately perceive it all at her current mastery of it. Luckily she had UTS recording it all and it would transfer the information to her mind directly later.

"Water Release: Water Dragon!!" Zabuza roared as a giant snake-like dragon made of water rose out of the water and dove towards her with its mouth wide open.

Sakura looked at this with fascination. There was one thing to have knowledge of something in memories. But to see it happening live before her eyes was something else. Sakura noticed Zabuza looking at her puzzled, wondering why she was not dodging. However, Sakura had already noticed something else, hence she was relaxed.

Right as the water dragon was about to reach her, a second dragon caught it by its neck and dragged it with a loud roaring sound. Zabuza looked at the source of this second dragon and saw Kakashi glaring at him, his single Sharingan look made him look deadlier than if he had two. Chakra roiled around him as he fueled the dragon he had created to counter Zabuza's dragon.

The two dragons and their masters were locked in deadly combat where a single second of lapse could mean the difference between life and death. Their clashes sounded like roars of thunder clouds.

Every bit of damage they did to each other's dragons would soon be repaired by the chakra they supplied. It may look like this was an equal fight, but Sakura could sense that Kakashi was losing chakra at a greater speed than Zabuza. Sharingan was truly a draining addition to his arsenal.

However, it seems she was not the only one who was planning to interfere. Suddenly, Hundreds of Naruto Clones appeared and prepared their Shuriken.

"Naruto Uzumaki Shuriken Barrage!!!" Naruto shouted as all of the hundreds of clones sent the Transformed Shuriken. They were purely a result of shadow clones and transformation jutsu, so they might be weaker compared to a real Shuriken, but sometimes quantity trumps quality.

Naruto was apparently thinking along the same lines as the amount of Shuriken he threw blanketed the skies. Kakashi took this moment to support Naruto by Locking up Zabuza's Dragon with his own.

"Urgh, Water clone Jutsu!!" Zabuza produced a Water clone while maintaining the dragon. The clone then put his hand in the lake water and activated something Zabuza had prepared beforehand.

"Water Prison Jutsu!!!" Zabuza's clone said. A large amount of dense water emerged from the lake and wrapped around Zabuza. Sakura and the rest looked at this in surprise.

'He truly is the Demon of the Mist. He made a split-second decision to use a trap/attack technique as one for defense.' Sakura thought with an impressed expression.

She appreciated the hard work required for the skill of a ninja, no matter their motivations or history. There was a reason people feared Madara more than Hashirama. That man was the hardest working ninja ever who made the best use of his gifts.

Zabuza's Water Prison repelled all the Shuriken. But then again, he was competing with Naruto in a contest for the amount of chakra. Naruto kept spamming more and more clones who kept attacking with Shuriken. Initially, Zabuza was confident, however as time passed and the barrage of Shuriken didn't stop, he started getting worried.

Meanwhile, Sakura and Kakashi took this time to recharge themselves while Sasuke protected Tazuna, just in case Zabuza's clone or any accomplice decides to do a sneak attack. Sakura abandoned all her chakra sensing and completely concentrated on meditation to regenerate chakra as much as possible.

After a few minutes, Zabuza finally couldn't maintain it anymore and deactivated the water prison. Seeing Naruto still preparing more clones, he had no choice but to fight on land. He rushed forth with great speed and wielded Kubikiribocho with an immense amount of skill. Without using a single drop of chakra, he relied on his physical strength to kill dozens of Naruto with each swing of his sword.

Naruto tried to keep up with Zabuza by creating more clones, but sadly his low combat experience and techniques worked against him now. Zabuza had grasped his weakness of having a lack of combat experience and was now using it to crush Naruto's clones like ants.

However, Naruto had accomplished the goal he had wanted to. He had brought enough time for Kakashi to have rested his Sharingan and regenerate chakra. Just as Zabuza was about to demolish the last few of Naruto's clones, he heard an intense fluctuation of chakra and cacophony of chirping birds.

He turned around and saw Kakashi rushing towards him while holding what looked like pure lightning chakra manifested to coat his hand. Zabuza barely had enough time to use Kubikiribocho as a shield before Kakashi's lightning-coated hand pierced towards it.

"What is this monstrosity of a jutsu Kakashi ??" Zabuza shouted as he tried to resist the intense amount of lightning chakra being transmitted to him through Kubikiribocho.

"Chidori! It is the one jutsu in my arsenal that is all mine. Not copied from anyone." Kakashi said smugly as he pierced forward with all his strength and chakra.

To Zabuza's shock and worry, it seemed that Kubikiribocho was getting overwhelmed. Chidori started shattering the blade from the exact point where it struck. The cracks were slow at first but soon spread faster and faster.

At the end, over 70% of Kubikiribocho shattered to pieces. The remaining part was only its large handle and hilt, along with a bit of its broken blade that was barely larger than the size of a few hands.

After shattering Kubikiribocho, Kakashi's remaining Chidori slid past the leftover blade and moved towards Zabuza's chest. However, Zabuza managed to save himself by abandoning his precious Kubikiribocho at the last moment and using his right arm in defense instead.

Sakura noticed this and immediately came up with a plan. Rushing forth with multiple uses of Body Flicker, she tried to catch the abandoned blade, that was still spinning in the air, with chakra strings she released from her hand.

The leftover Kubikiribocho was still enough to cut through most of the strings, but she managed to attach a few to the handle and pulled hard. The Kubikiribocho swiftly flew towards her handle first. With deft manipulation of the chakra strings, Sakura managed to catch the handle securely in her hand.

'Ugh, even after losing so much of the blade, this sword still weighs so much. Combined with the ability to regenerate through the blood of enemies it kills, this is truly worthy of its reputation as one of the Seven Swords of the Mist.' Sakura thought.

Zabuza glared at Sakura and Kakashi as he retreated swiftly while holding his arm. However, he got a further shock as he saw Sakura put away the blade in a scroll and hide it within her clothes.

"No!!!" Zabuza screamed as he tried to rush towards Sakura. However, right at that moment, a shower of Senbons struck Zabuza. They aimed at various pressure points of his body, 'Killing' him instantly.
