The Forest's Lullaby

In the heart of the forest, where the trees grow tall,

There's a lullaby that whispers, with each bird's call,

A gentle breeze that rustles, the leaves on the ground,

A peacefulness that lingers, with each forest sound.

The creatures of the forest, all join in the song,

A harmony of nature, that's been there all along,

The deer and the rabbits, the squirrels and the bear,

They dance to the music, without any care.

The stream flows softly, with its gentle gurgle,

A soothing sound, that makes my worries mellow,

The leaves on the trees, sway in the breeze,

As if they're nodding, to the forest's decrees.

The forest's lullaby, is a gift from above,

A reminder of the beauty, that's in the world we love,

It tells of the mysteries, that the forest holds,

Of the secrets that lie, in the stories untold.

As the sun sets in the sky, the forest comes alive,

The night creatures stir, and the shadows thrive,

The lullaby continues, in a different key,

A melody of the night, that's meant just for me.

I close my eyes and listen, to the forest's song,

A peace that envelops me, all night long,

And as I drift off to sleep, in the forest's embrace,

I know I'll be back, to this magical place.
