The room was a grim canvas of shadows, with a lone candle casting a feeble light over the clutter of discarded materials and weapons. In the midst of this disarray stood a figure, his presence ominous. A knife was clutched in his hand, and an apron, likely a silent witness to past misdeeds, hung around his neck. His stance was casual yet menacing, one leg propped on a chair, the other on the floor, as he leered over a woman lying before him.
His voice, devoid of warmth, carried a bone-chilling timbre as he uttered, "Look at you, nothing will taste better after this. Your son and daughter will become my..... He he he." The sinister laughter that followed was punctuated by the sound of saliva dripping from his mouth, a grotesque prelude to the terror he was about to unleash. As he advanced towards the woman, the candle seemed to flicker in protest, its light struggling against the encroaching darkness.

Ren's pov
When I looked at my status screen, I saw something new under my mana: **Dark Energy**. It's from a "Dark World" blessing, but I have no clue what that means. I'm hoping I can use this dark energy just like mana.
The planet I'm on, Silverstar, is really strange. It's shaped like a cube, not a sphere, and each side faces a different dimension. There are six dimensions in total. Angels live on the top side, in the God's dimension, and demons are on the bottom, in the Devil's dimension. Humans and other races live on one of the other sides. The rest? No one knows what's there. And all around the edges, there's an ocean that touches all four sides of each face of the planet.
I need to figure out how to use this dark energy and what "Dark World" is all about. Maybe it'll help me understand this weird cube planet and all its dimension.
The world I woke up in is pretty strange. I got out of bed, and there was Mili, the talking book, resting on my head. I walked over to the balcony and opened the window. The sky was amazing, with a bright blue moon and white stars shining all around. I looked up and said seriously, "Mili, tell me where Celes is now."
Mili's voice came out, sounding like a little girl, kind of sweet but also full of herself. "You'll have to wait for that. Celes is stuck in a time maze, so your first job is to get into LAS academy," she said. She tries to sound tough, but I can tell it's not really her. Then she got all bossy, "Don't think it'll be easy. Go on, entertain me. Join the academy, he he he, and do it without any magic. Let's see how you manage that."
I sighed. Mili's like a kid sometimes. I don't have any mana, but when I looked at the moon, its blue glow reminded me of something. It's called Erie, a special kind of energy inside the moon. They say there are millions of swords stuck in it, which is why they call it the Sword Moon. I guess I need to do the Sword Moon ritual to tap into that Erie energy. That way, I can get into the academy's knight course. In this world, if you don't have a magical thing to bond with, you do a ritual with a sword to get Erie. That's what I'm going to try.
To perform the Sword Moon ritual, I'll need a moonstone, a rare gem that's said to be infused with the moon's essence. With the moonstone in hand, I'll summon a sword from the moon itself, which will choose me as its master if I'm deemed worthy. This sword, born from the moon's core, where Erie energy thrives, will be my key to accessing this powerful force. With Erie and my new sword, I'll be ready to face the challenges of LAS academy.
Lost in the stars, I didn't see the tiny blur hurtling towards me until it smacked right into my face. Half of it ended up in my mouth—it's a fairy! In my shock, I stumbled backward, and poor Mili, the book, tumbled out the window. I hit the floor with a thud, flat on my back, mouth agape to avoid harming the fairy.
There she was, stuck halfway in my mouth, her dark blue hair flowing down to her waist, sky-blue eyes wide with shock. She wore a frock-like dress that left her back bare, her delicate, sparkling wings fluttering in distress. A single tear glistened in her eye, and she wore a look of utter disgust. Then, with her magic crackling in the air, she accused me, "You... you... Pervert... Take... Responsibility...what are you doing don't lick their"
I can't talk in this weird situation. I am doing nothing and this little thing calling me pervert.
