Chapter 61

My head almost snapping to where the familiar scent of my mate grew stronger, my cousins and I instantly spotted her by the registers, looking back at us with wide eyes.

We made eye contact and I scowled, I can't believe she would even have the audacity to show up wearing my clothes. Looking back up to her face, I saw that her eyes were filled to the brim with unshed tears. Chloe kicked my shin beneath the table.

Without even taking her coffee, she fled the coffee shop, my wolf angry at both her and me. He was pissed at her for cheating, yet even more pissed with me for making our mate cry.

Through the window I saw her walk back to her car. "What the hell even happened?" Chloe asked.

"She cheated." Came my simple reply, my jaw clenching as I folded my hands.

My cousins both looked at me wearily, "I find that hard to believe." Charles said.

"He's right, I know Thea and she would never intentionally try to hurt you like that." Chloe added.
