WPC #273 How is it that Jet was bonded to the enemy, who hated her pack just as much. Yet he wouldn't let her go? She was the weakest link and possibly the slowest and now that the bond was growing on itself, there was no escaping him, will she have to do the abominable he proposed to gain her freedom? ***
Beta Jackson let it slip from his fingers and he muffled when the scout gave it to Efilian.
He examined it and her scent was on it, and so was his. He gasped at the touch of the wind on his skin.
"Efilian!" Leloo cried out as Jackson nudged him to the ground.
Leloo stumbled, her mate was hurting and so was she.
He retrieved the necklace from his grasp and his eyes turned red. "Just because you're the Alpha, doesn't necessarily make you the strongest,"
Jet gasped and Ray stepped forward.
"Jackson," His arms were wide apart in front of Jet and Jackson grimaced, he would brawl his long time friend if it meant getting to her. His anger was rising and he spun the necklace around his hand and poised.
Ray's eyes softened acknowledging his friendship with Beta Jackson but he was going too far. "We don't have to do this,"
"Move aside,"
The sentinels growled and their chests expanded transforming with their claws growing out. He scoffed and in the whiff of a breeze, Ray only heard Jet's scream when he zoomed behind him and Ray spun to jab his neck and pulled her behind him fending off Jackson.
His knee lurched when Jackson twisted his arm. "You are my friend but I respect you enough to stand back,"
Ray's eyes turned yellow "This is treason against the Alpha and for that, I will have to take you down,"
He zoomed and jabbed his hands into Jackson's stomach.
Jackson flew across the room into the vase and groaned falling back when Ray appeared immediately and smashed a fist against his face.
Jackson hurled him off and Ray was met with a claw, he evaded it and they fought with their claws open circling each other.
The other sentinels struggled to hold him off but his fight was effortless.
He gripped a guard's head and stabbed him in his jaw. His claws spiked through his skull dripping with blood at the top and he yanked it out dropping the body.
The others shuddered at his feat.
"Anybody else wanna challenge me?" He asked and snapped a sentinel's neck.
A wolf howled and speared him across the room to the walls and the vases.
Jet gasped and rushed to the doors and Jackson groaned at her escaping "No!" He picked up a shard of ceramic and he gripped his hand before he tossed it at her.
"Ah!" She gripped her arm when it tore her there. Sobbing. She stumbled at the body she ran into screeching and pounding at him, she felt the pangs on her chest too and looked up.
Zev's eyes lessened holding her still and she softened, he leaped at Jackson before he could to get her.
"This is none of your concern, tramp,"
Zev dodged his fist and hopped kicking him down. Jackson rolled over and pushed up evading him and went around him toward Jet, Zev's eyes turned red and he pulled him back to headbutt and Jackson's fingers dug into his eyes. Zev screamed and it took Jackson a moment to distinguish Jet's shout from his own and he scoffed.
Looking to Zev. He understood immediately and grinned.
"Two for the price of one. Not bad," He slammed an elbow into Zev's back and he lurched crawling.
Jet sobbed and Amy zipped in to get her. She was in agony.
"Please, get him away from Jackson, he's gonna kill him!"
"I should've done this the day your witch mother betrayed me," He growled and stabbed Zev near his spine.
Jet gave another shout, she muffled when Amy gripped her.
"Duko, we need some cover," Amy summoned through a mind link and Jet sobbed and felt herself being hoisted, her body was on fire when he picked her up.
"Don't worry," He thought at her then grimaced at his awful advice but Jet managed to nod gritting her teeth at the pain. She shivered holding her stomach. It was getting worse
He started to run and Amy rushed at him.
Zev slammed him in the groin and he saw a blinding light and immense pain when he fell and Zev smirked "Oops,"
"Zev," Amy grabbed him before he fell and tears rolled down her face at his wound.
"Are you forgetting I heal fast?"
She sniffed and brushed off her tears and he grinned.
"Suck it up," She pouted and Zev's eyes widened gripping her arm.
"Amy!" He pulled her below him and her eyes flashed at Jackson.
He went down on his other knee when Jackson fell on his, his eyes shook when green veins grew down his eyes and his skin turned deathly pale, sizzling and he keeled over.
Connor smiled holding a tube near his mouth.
Amy pushed up at the silver shard on his nape and smiled.
"I've always wanted to do that," He tossed it away and Zev groaned when Connor helped him up.
They paused and stared at Jackson's body on the soiled ground.
"Rest in crap," Amy said and their attention was drawn to Zev when he faltered and Amy held him up.
Duko stopped by the woods and Jet's eyes opened staring at the sentinels emerge.
They were surrounded and Duko's eyes shut, begrudged that they were outmatched. All he could do was straightened up in defeat.
Jet muffled at the trauma on herself as Duko walked back to the village. Surrounded by the Lobisomems.
He was surprised that the salutary were receiving her with care. Duko attempted to retaliate but Stan, a fellow rogue shook his head and he looked perplexed. "Huh? These Lobos are all kooks I tell ya,"
"Worry about Zev," Stan said marching to the pack house with them.

Zev blinked at Efilian and he trudged toward him and his claw grew out. "I'm not done with you, yet," He said and Efilian clasped his hands together in entreaty and tears flowed down his eyes.
Leloo groped Efilian hard and tears flowed down her eyes too and Zev hardened.
"Tears won't save you from what I'm about to do,"
"At least be stoic," Ray said.
"I am stoic and I'm not about to spare you because you rescued my mate," Zev was angry and he felt like ripping Efilian to shreds.
"I for one, didn't know about the ploy against the Garouche but please give peace a chance," He pleaded.
"Is that what they call us?" Connor asked indifferently and his eyebrows rose. Amy glanced at him while he said so and she turned to them.
"I think it's us going back to our vomit," She said.
"Please, why don't we make you the Alpha, that will be reasonable," Elder Grazie begged.
Zev raised a claw "You call giving me a title in place of the lives we lost reasonable?"
Zev's eyes lowered to the Alpha, who was grovelling with his head bowed low. He was crying. "Please, forgive me, I really wanted the truce,"
"You think listening to these old fossils was a wise decision?" He spoke with resentment. "But you thought wrong,"
Efilian raised his head to reveal his glassy eyes, he was shaking. "What are you going to do?"
