Chapter 34: Chapter Thirty-Four
*Brielle’s POV*
Instead of going down to the precinct, we drive back to Jonathan’s apartment while he makes a couple of phone calls. Every part of me feels on edge and nothing is going to convince me otherwise that the Quinto family is responsible for the murders.
I have no proof.
I have no authority to make this kind of judgment call.
Still, I know deep in my gut that they are the ones that are responsible.
What was their motive? I had no idea for certain, but we think that it is for a couple of different reasons.
Jonathan’s words ring out over and over in my head, like tolling bells that I could not get to be quiet. I remember the words as my ears ring.
