Hearing this, Xu Xiucai's expression froze, and his eyes widened in disbelief.

"Stop talking nonsense!" Shen Man scolded as she stared at Chen Yun with a frown. Her eyes were filled with warning.

Chen Yun curled his lips and did not continue.

He just wanted to give Xu Xiucai some trouble.

Xu Xiucai's brows were tightly furrowed as he looked deeply at Chen Yun.

"Xiao Man, in the future, you will be representing the Xu family's face. It's better not to associate with some shady people. If there are disobedient dogs in the company, just kick them away," Xu Xiucai said coldly.

He did not think that anything had happened between Shen Man and Chen Yun. He only thought that Chen Yun was spouting nonsense to provoke him.

Shen Man was such a proud person. How could she fall for such a poor boy?

Chen Yun wanted to retort but was stopped by Shen Man's gaze.

"Young Master Xu, since you came all the way here, just tell me what you have to say," Shen Man asked in a deep voice.

"I'll pick you up after work in the afternoon. We'll go home and you can meet your future in-laws," Xu Xiucai said with a smile as he reached out to grab Shen Man's hand.

Shen Man quickly dodged and shook her head, "There's no need for that, we'll just find a time to get the marriage certificate."

However, Xu Xiucai completely ignored Shen Man's rejection.

"It's a deal. I'll pick you up after work," With that, Xu Xiucai turned around and left.

"That's your fiancé? Your taste in men doesn't seem that good," Chen Yun teased as he looked at Shen Man.

Even though he had a one-night stand with Shen Man, it did not mean that he would treat her as his woman.

The old man didn't ask him to stop her from getting married. He only asked him to ensure her personal safety.

Shen Man rolled her eyes at Chen Yun and sat down in her seat, "If there's nothing else, you should leave. Don't be a bother."

"I'm not being a bother, I'm serious," Chen Yun put away his frivolous smile and said seriously.

Although the old man was always joking with him, he was very serious and could even be called harsh when it came to business.

Chen Yun walked to the window, opened it, and looked down.

Shen Man remained unmoved. As long as one was not out of their mind, they wouldn't really jump.

Just as she was thinking of this, Chen Yun suddenly jumped out of the window gracefully like a diving athlete!

"You're crazy!" Shen Man shrieked and ran to the window.

"Where is he?" The bloody scene that Shen Man expected as she trembled in fear did not happen. She looked at the clean ground below in confusion.

At this moment, Chen Yun was holding onto the windowsill with his hands as his body hung in the air.

The muscles in his arms tensed up, and he flipped through the window again, back into the office.

Chen Yun did not expect Shen Man to be standing right next to the window. He could not stop in time and pushed her onto the ground.

The two of them were tightly pressed together, staring at each other.

Chen Yun felt the softness of her chest and couldn't help but feel some lust.

"You pervert!" Shen Man pushed Chen Yun away. Her face was flushed as she stood up hurriedly.

"Is this okay?" Chen Yun patted the dust off his body and asked.

Shen Man furrowed her brows and looked at him with a complicated expression.

"Aren't you afraid of falling?" Shen Man's heart was filled with confusion. Why was this man so insistent on being her bodyguard? He didn't even fear death!

"Leaping on roofs and vaulting over walls is nothing to me," Chen Yun said indifferently. However, in Shen Man's eyes, she thought that he was just bragging.

She still acknowledged his skills though.

"If you're willing to be a little bodyguard, go ahead," She was too embarrassed to go back on her words, so she could only reply with a cold face.

"However, I have to make it clear to you in advance that you were the one who insisted on being my bodyguard. I won't pay you a single cent," In Shen Man's opinion, the only reason why Chen Yun was pestering her so persistently was that he had taken a fancy to her and wanted to woo her. As long as she didn't give him any smiles or money, he would eventually give up and leave.

"Sure," Chen Yun agreed without any hesitation.

What a joke!

Even though Shen Man was the CEO of Xinke Materials, based on Chen Yun's normal appearance fee, even if she sold her entire company, she might not be able to pay his salary.

For the entire afternoon, all the employees who came to Shen Man's office looked at Chen Yun, who was sitting in her office, in shock.

Everyone knew that Shen Man had always kept men at arm's length. Who was this man?

"Hey, it's already six o'clock. Aren't you going to get off work?" Chen Yun put down the magazine in boredom and asked.

"You can leave first. No one is restricting your personal freedom," Shen Man was handling the documents in her hands and did not even lift her head.

"That can't do, I'm your personal bodyguard," Since the old man had asked him to make a move, it meant that Shen Man was in grave danger.

"Are you going to follow me even to the toilet?" Shen Man asked coldly.

"Shut up!" Shen Man was embarrassed and angry. She put down the folder in her hand.

"You can go back by yourself. I'm going home," She stood up and walked out of the office.

Xu Xiucai was leaning against a Maybach downstairs. He glanced at his Patek Philippe watch from time to time, and his mind was filled with Shen Man's alluring figure. Meeting his parents was just an excuse! As long as she got in the car, wouldn't he have the final say in where they were going?

"Why isn't she coming?" Xu Xiucai frowned. He had been waiting downstairs for more than half an hour.

When he saw Chen Yun and Shen Man walk out of Xinke Building side by side, Xu Xiucai's face darkened.

"The two of them were together the entire afternoon?" Xu Xiucai's heart ached, and he wished he could slice Chen Yun into pieces.

"Xiao Man, I'm here to pick you up," When he was in front of Shen Man though, he was all smiles.

"I said no need!" Shen Man stared at him with her pitch-black eyes and cold expression.
