BNHA x Zavage OC

This will be a story about how our OC Hecate Mourningstar, also known as Zavage, will become a hero. Though they started off as a villain/vigilante who hated the corrupt society, their life gets thrown out of wack when they were caught and was offered to be in the hero course of class 1-A. Watch how this killer with a troubled past goes on the path of heroism. Side note: A while ago my friend and I saw an idea of what would it be like if Generation Z was in the BNHA/MHA universe. So, we decided to take that idea and make it a reality. We took some key points of Generation Z like the chaoticness, the smart but stupid, sarcasm, and some good old meme and vine references and included that in our story. - This story will follow the main plot of the original. Boku no Hero Academia series - There will also be the use of exact words and dialogue phrases within the book. They were used so we can stick to the story as much as possible and also for convenience. If you see some exact lines/dialogue, we do not claim to own such phrases, so please do not make a big fuss over it. ***ME AND MY FRIEND WHO WROTE THIS ARE THE ORIGINAL AUTHORS*** We hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 38

First POV

I walked back out of the building to where everyone was waiting as I yawned. The hunger demon has been fed, but now I'm tired. As I reopened and rubbed my eyes, I saw a small boy sitting on the floor near the wall playing with a stick with a tablet sitting next to him. Walking over I bent down slightly, "Hello there, mind if I sit?"

The kid clicked his tongue as he kept his attention on the floor, "I don't care."

He reminds me of Bakugou. I sat down as I hugged my knees to my chest, "What are you doing over here?"

"Why do you care."

"Just a question. You don't have to answer, I'm just a curious person." I said nicely as I leaned back on the wall and looked at the sky. We sat in silence for a couple of minutes while the pros talked.

"I don't understand."

I turned my head to him, "Understand what?"

"Why do you want to become a hero?"

I chuckled, "Tell me about it."

The kid seemed surprised as he fully turned his head and looked up at me, "What do you mean?"

Shrugging I crossed my arms on my chest, "I never wanted to become a hero at first. And I still don't completely understand why anyone would gladly choose to do this kind of thing."

The kid looked at me with wide curious eyes. Smiling, I pulled up my sleeve, "You see this bracelet on my wrist and choker around my neck? I'm part of a rehabilitation program of some sort. I was…..a bad person who did bad things, but since I was powerful, they offered me a spot at UA. Still don't know what madness was in the principal's brain when he decided that."

The kid touched the bracelet gently and then looked back up at me, "So you were a delinquent?"

More like a mass murderer feared by both heroes and villains but, "Sure, we'll say that."

"I- I don't understand heroes either. They put their lives in danger and for what? They'll only get hurt and die in the end." Damn. This kid has seen some shit, hasn't he…

"Yeah. Seems pretty stupid when you put it like that huh?"

He nodded, "That's what I don't understand."

I hummed as I sat up and turned my body towards him, "Well, how about putting it like this. I don't understand nor will I ever fully understand, but from being in a class full of hero loving students, they want to be a hero to help others."

"Why? They're not gonna gain anything from it."

"To be honest I don't know. Some do it to help the greater good, some do it to help someone close to them, and others do it to prove something. Either way, they're becoming a hero to help others."

The kid nodded as he grabbed his tablet, "Wanna watch a movie with me?"

I smiled as I sat closer to him, "Sure, why not. What's your name by the way?"

"Kota."

"Hi Kota, my name is Alex Kurosaki, but you can call me Alex for short. Now, let's get this movie started!"

*time skip*

Kota and I were snacking on some goldfish as we were playing a simple card game. Kota won and I leaned back, "I lost again!?"

He smiled, "You suck at this game."

Dramatically, I put my hand on my heart, "How dare you. The cards were not in my favor is all."

"Ha! The rest of the litter is almost here!" Pixie-Bob announced.

"That took a lot longer than expected," I sighed as I stood up from the ground. Dusting myself off, I offered Kota my hand, which he grabbed and stood up as well.

We walked over next to Mandalay and Aizy as everyone else from the class started emerging from the forest. They look like they went through hell, "You look like shit."

"Oh, well thank you," Shouto said sarcastically between wheezes.

"You said it would only be, like, three hours!" Sero cried. He was clutching his arms in pain and seemed to be on the brink of crying, "Kurosaki? When did you get here!?"

I giggled, "A while ago."

"I guess we timed it based on how long it'd take us. Sorry!" Mandalay apologized half-heartedly.

People started falling to the floor in exhaustion and breathed heavily. Imagine getting here several hours later, couldn't be me.

"Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow! I thought it would take you, kids, even longer, but you did much better against my dirt monsters than I thought you would. You guys were seriously great." She pointed her claw(?) to Iida, Bakugou, Izuku, and Shouto, "Especially the four of you! It seems like you've had quite a bit of experience. I call dibs on these kittens!"

Yeah, that's not gonna go so well. I wiped a fake tear, "Awe, but I thought you said you liked me…"

She immediately ran back towards me, engulfing me in a giant hug. She rambled about being sorry, yadda yadda. I made eye contact with the four boys and mouth "you owe me" to which they nodded gratefully. Grabbing Pixie-Bob off me, Mandalay Apology Pt. 69, "Sorry, she's at the age to take a mate."

"Uh. Speaking of people's ages-"

Pixie-Bob grabbed Izuku's face, "Choose your words carefully, boy." How the fuck did she get over there!? That speed put Sonic himself to shame.

"I've just been wondering since we got here earlier. Who is that kid? What's he doing here?"

"Oh, this little guy?" Mandalay answered, gesturing to Kota. "He's my cousin's son. He lives with us now. Don't be shy, Kota. Say hi to everyone."

Izuku walked up to us as he slightly bent down, "Hey there. My name's Midoriya. I'm from the UA High School hero course. It's nice to meet you!"

Obviously not having it, Kota punched him right where the sun doesn't shine. I burst out into laughter as I gave the kid a high five, "You got him right in the family jewels!" (a/n: bonus points if you know what movie that is from lol)

The greenette fell over as Iida caught him, "What a low blow! You fiend of a child! A punch to the scrotum is unforgivable!"

"The last thing I want is to hang with some wannabe heroes," Kota sneered. He is scary for a child. Grabbing my hand and dragging me away he said, "Let's go. You're the only one that I want to hang out with. I bet you can't beat me in a game of cards."

Following him, I laughed, "Oh you are so on!"

*time skip*

Everyone was gathered in the cafeteria as we gazed at the food splayed out in front of us. It all smelled so good! People were grabbing food and talking the entire time. I was sitting next to the Deku squad and everything was fine. We talked about random stuff, and hung out until it was time for the most dreaded part of the day….a bath.

Not wanting to take a bath with everyone else for reasons. Kota and I sat on top of the wall as a lookout. Mandalay wanted us up there just in case something were to happen.

We mainly played games on my phone for a while until I asked him, "What's your story kid?"

He looked up at me, "Huh?"

Sighing I turned my body towards him, "Excuse me for my language, but I can tell that you've been through some shit. If you wanna share I'm willing to listen."

He paused and thought for a second, "My parents used to be heroes. Until one day they were killed by a villain. I can't understand why heroes would put themselves in danger for others when they should really care about themselves."

Patting him on the back I said calmly, "I understand now. It makes sense why you would think that. Don't worry I'm not going to give you the same old bullshit the adults tell you. Just know I'm here for you, ok?"

He looked up at me surprised. He must've been told the same thing so many times, that he thought I would do the same. "What, what have you gone through?"

Slightly taken aback by the question I flinched. "Oh, well…" I don't want him to hate heroes any more than he already does, but if I don't say something he's just gonna keep asking and might even become suspicious of me. He may be young, but he was way smarter than you'd think. Smiling slightly I ruffled his hair, "Maybe another time."

He looked back down at his tablet, "I'm gonna tell them that you swore around me."

"Oh no, please please please don't! Aiz- I mean Mr.Aizawa is gonna kill me! Not to mention Mandalay and Pixie-Bob, they're gonna scratch out my eyes!"

Laughing at my suffering Kota sat next to me, "Just kidding. I've heard way worse."

Letting out a sigh of relief, I leaned back, "Thank you, don't scare me like that- wait. You've heard what now!?"
