After Izuku sat down back in class a new system message popped up

[The next option on the Romance System is 'Skills' these skills are different from your main skills as all of these skills purely affect your ability to Romance people, these skills are awarded for Achievements, reaching stat milestones, performing certain actions successfully, and rarely as a quest reward, these skills are ranked in the same way as normal skills and can also evolve. You've already seen the gifts screen, but note that the gifts screen from the main menu has general all purpose gifts for any Heroine, not specific Heroines like the gift button under a Heroine's page. You've already seen some uses for Romance Points, but note these can be used in a very special way other than gifts. By spending Romance Points you can aid a Heroine that may need it, you can purchase System Aid in wooing a heroine, in which case for the duration of your Romance Opportunity the best possible outcome choice will always be picked automatically or you can buy Conversational Aid, for outside Romance Opportunities if you find someone hard to speak to you can buy this and it will guide you to the correct words, after purchasing just follow your instincts on what to say and it will have a positive outcome. Take note that all of the Romancing system gets affected by your Charm stat, Higher Charm = Easier Romancing in all aspects]

Izuku:'Hm, I didn't expect Romance Points to be so unexpectedly useful, the Heroine Aid and the Conversational Aid seem the most useful, because if all the Romance Opportunity choices are that simple to figure out in the future I won't particularly need the System Aid. And I think I now know why the system put emphasis on my charm stat before'

Izuku felt like facepalming over the system's obsession with making him popular with women

Izuku thought about where to put his stat points that he gained his WIS caught up to the rest of his stats so that was good, his strength seemed a bit low but once more he wasn't a melee fighter so it didn't seem particularly worthwhile to put points in it, his endurance could use some points, but thinking back to the previous system message stating stat milestones for skills he decided to put two points into intelligence to test and followed the system's advice and put his last 3 into charm

Clicking confirm Izuku immediately felt different, where the last Level-Up made him feel more comfortable in his body, this Level-Up felt like a mental barrier was removed he could clearly understand all of the things that once stumped him logically. It was like the world suddenly became in-color and Izuku felt incredible

Izuku didn't know what to think about this quest, it seemed kinda normal until he got to the failure penalty where he wanted to spew blood at just what the system was insinuating about Katsumi, he was heavily tempted to decline the quest but the future opportunity reward was calling to him, what could it be? Why was it in question marks? He had to find out, so shakily he pressed accept

*after the bell rings*

Izuku was trying to pack up and get out of the room before Katsumi had a chance to go after him but as fate, or as he liked to call it 'The Protagonist' title, had other plans. As Izuku was almost done packing up Katsumi walked up to his desk and exploded it, not hard enough to break the desk but enough to get his attention

Katsumi:'Did you think this was over?!?! HUH DEKU, THINK YOUR BETTER THAN M-'

Izuku panicking remembered the quest name and just decided to pat Katsumi on the head while giving a calm outward smile

Izuku:'Either this will work or I'm going through that window to my left, I'm hoping it's the former'

Katsumi stopped mid sentence once more after being patted on the head by Izuku, she just sat there for a moment staring at his calming smile and relaxed into the headpats before remembering why she was here but now too much of a mess to get her point across decided to run out of the room trying to not let Izuku see her blushing (he did)

Katsumi:"THIS ISN'T OVER DEKU!!!"

Izuku:'That-that just worked, how did that work?'

Izuku could not believe his eyes? Was this a skill? Or a joke? Was the system messing with him? The single highest ranked skill he has is for headpatting, a skill on the same rank as skills that can affect an entire country... by headpatting

Izuku:'Don't question it Izuku, you don't need more headaches, though I have to admit...I haven't seen Katsumi look so at peace and relaxed in a long time, it felt nice'

And so Izuku got up and headed home after having a surprisingly good day. Preparing for the rest of his week

*one month later*

Izuku had done a lot with the month, his Quirk was on the verge of leveling up although it seemed stuck at 99% he'd figure it out eventually, he had made Katsumi a blushing mess a number of times, something rapidly becoming one of his favorite things to do. And his and Katsumi's relationship was coming along nicely, she no longer tried to explode him whenever she saw him often opting to ignore him or turn away when he looked at her, except occasionally she would sit with him on the roof at lunch not saying anything just quietly eating her lunch before getting up and going back to class.

It was a wednesday morning like any other and Izuku had left early to try and catch a villain fight by the train station that he had seen on the incoming news, on a few hero boards he saw that apparently Kamui Woods was going to show up, he couldn't miss it. Izuku was running as fast as he could and he realized that he was going much faster than he normally could

Izuku:'Is this the result of my DEX stat increasing? I feel almost twice as fast as before! This is incredible'

Izuku rushed over to the train overpass and caught sight of a large shark-esq man, raging about on top of the trainway lines before he knocked down one of the pylons and the steel casing holding it up, it looked like it'd fall and make a dent in the ground, but before it did Izuku caught sight of a hero rushing towards it

Citizen #1:'Look its Death Arms: The punching hero!'

Citizen #2:'AHHH SHE'S MY FAVORITE HERO! GO DEATH ARMS!'

The now named Death Arms Rushed under where the pylons were and slammed her fists together before raising them above her head and catching the steel pylon casing

Izuku:'I wonder...Observe'

Izuku's eyes widened at the information gained

Izuku:'She's never given her actual name to the press… I just got information no one else has, this observe skill is dangerous'

As Izuku was thinking Kamui Woods swung in on one of the villain arms and started a speech about the villains crimes before using her finishing move: Lacquered Chains Prison…before failing miserably as another gigantic hero kicked the guy onto the floor before introducing herself

???:"Hello everyone, I'm Mount. Lady!"

Izuku looked up from his book where he was noting down the observe information and saw Mt. Lady do a pose with her ass pushed back for the camera he was about to observe her before the system cut in

[The system approves.]

Izuku:'What does that even mean system? *sigh* don't argue with it. Observe'

Was that a scoff Izuku heard at the end of her description? Where are these noises coming from? He decided to ignore that and mark down her stats noting that her stats seemed low for her level compared to death arms but chalked it up to her quirk modifying her stats differently than death arms. Izuku looked at his phone and realized he had to be at school shortly so he once more rushed off into the distance heading to his school

*before class*

Izuku was in his seat preparing for class to begin when Katsumi walked up to his desk and slammed her hand on it to get his attention surprisingly no explosion present

Katsumi:"I told you this isn't over Deku! You think your better than me now that you got a quirk huh!?!? You'll never be better than me!"

As Katsumi finished her rant Izuku calmly stood up and lightly patted her head and he could swear he almost heard an audible purr from Katsumi when he did before she turned around and walked back to her seat with rosy red cheeks once more.

Katsumi:'How does he keep doing that? I walk over intending to knock him down a peg and he just pats me on the head and I become a blushing mess...Though I do admit it feels nice'

Unknowingly to Izuku Katsumi realized she enjoyed the headpats and another soul was added to the head pat army.

*after class*

After a surprisingly boring day Izuku headed out to head back home but turned around when he heard Katsumi call him

Katsumi:'Deku! Wait this isn't-*sigh* you know what forget it, come on guys let's go to the arcade"

Smiling back at her Izuku resumed his walk home, he decided to try a different path home to enjoy the scenery, the day was quite nice and with his improved stats he could get home at the same time taking a longer route.

*under a bridge*

As Izuku was walking under an Overpass the sewer grate rattled behind him. Startled he turned around and was met with a wall of green before being engulfed by a slime type monster

???:"You'll make a perfect skinsuit for me to hide in kid!"

[The system has seen enough hentai to know where this is going]

Izuku:'What's hentai? And WHY ARE YOU MAKING JOKES AT A TIME LIKE THIS I'M BEING ATTACKED?'

Izuku's thoughts were cut short as the slime started entering his body

Just as Izuku was about to try and blast the villain off using Rising of the Phoenix he heard a voice that made him stop in his tracks

???:'Have no fear, you are safe! Now that I am here that is!'

???:"TEXAS SSSSSSSSSMMMMMMAAAAAAASSSHHH"

The last thing Izuku saw was a young looking woman in a punching position before he blacked out.

???:"hey wake up! Hey!"

Izuku blearily opened his eyes to a woman wearing a hero costume

???:"Thought I lost ya there for a moment kiddo"

Izuku:"Gal-Might?!?!"

Izuku:'OH MY GOD IT'S HER THE NUMBER ONE HERO!!!'

Izuku:"Can you sign my note-"

Izuku looked down at the page and saw that it was already signed

Izuku:"SHE ALREADY DID, AHH SHE'S SO COOL!!!"

Gal-Might:"Sorry for getting you caught up in my justicing kid! Normally I'm more careful but these sewers are like a maze, hahaha!"

As Gal-Might was speaking Izuku grew curious about the information that was blacked out in her sparring form previously and used observe on her

Izuku was floored once more, her stats were so high yet whatever this injury was causing her stats to drastically drop. As he was about to speak to her about this she finished her speech

Gal-Might:"Well Young Midoriya, I must be off, Pro Heroes are always busy you know? Goodbye!"

She was about to jump away so Izuku did the only thing he could think of and grabbed onto her leg as he was sent shooting into the air, clinging to her leg for dear life as he still hasn't figured out how to fly properly using his quirk.

Gal-Might:"huh, Hey! What do you think you're doing! Let go! I love my fans but this is too much!"

Izuku:"No way! We're flying if I let go now I'll die!"

Gal-Might:"Oh, right good point"

Izuku:"My quirk allows me to see information about people as long as they are within eyesight of me! And I have a few important questions now!"

Gal-Might got very worried all of a sudden, a quirk that gives information about people? Did he know her secret? Did he know about one for all? She suddenly got very nervous about the young boy clinging to her leg

*a rooftop in the city*

After landing Izuku took a few easy steps before turning around and facing Gal-Might

Gal-Might:"Well out with it kid, What was so important that you learned via your quirk that you risked your own life and grabbed onto my leg mid flight"

Izuku:"Did you know you're dying?"

Gal-Might was stunned, Out of all the possible scenarios that she foresaw about what info his quirk could've given him, her deepest secret, the injury she sustained from that fight, was not one of them.

Gal-might slid down against the wall she was standing next to

Gal-Might:'Well he knows and he could've just walked away and posted this online but he didn't so at least he's not a bad kid, I guess I have to spill the beans...partially at least enough to keep him quiet about it'

Gal-Might:"Well you caught me kid, yes I know I'm dying"

Gal-Might sounded somber while saying this looking down at the floor in front of her

Gal-Might:"It was a battle 5 years ago, I have tried my best to keep that fight secret"

Gal-Might pulled up her shirt to reveal what looked like a purple hole in her side that was patched up

Gal-Might:"My respiratory System got damaged, and my whole stomach got removed, all the surgeries to repair it have tired me out, I can only do hero work for about 3 hours a day now, and that time keeps getting shorter"

She seemed ready to cry at this point. And as she was about to continue Izuku interjected

Izuku:"Could I try healing you"

He had never healed anything that damaging before only ever healing minor scrapes, bruises and burns at the hospital, but he couldn't bear to see her, the Number one hero, look so...vulnerable, she wasn't Gal-Might right now. She was just a normal person coming to terms with their death, and if Izuku had anything to say about it that wouldn't happen!

To say Gal-Might was shocked at his question was an understatement

Gal-Might:'Didn't he say his quirk was the ability to gather information on anyone in his sight? What does he mean by that?

Gal-Might:"What do you mean kid? Isn't your quirk the ability to gather info on someone in your eyesight?"

She didn't want to believe it, not after all the times she's been let down, but a small part of her wanted to believe this kid, that he could truly help her.

Izuku:"well not exactly, I am Dual-Quirked"

Her eyes bulged at that, HIM a GUY who not only HAS a quirk but is one of the rare DUAL quirked people.

Izuku:"The information gathering is a part of my healing ability, my quirks are called System Analysis, and Rising of the Phoenix"

Izuku:"My Quirk uses my own energy to heal others, it doesn't rely on the bodies natural healing factor of the body, but I've never tried healing something like this"

Her eyes lit up, the part of her that screamed not to get her hopes up was rapidly getting crushed but she had to remain calm.

Gal-Might:"please, if you think you can help with your quirk go ahead"

With her permission granted Izuku approached her and sat down in front of her, willing his healing flames to life he got to work. Pressing his palms against her wound a giant yellow flame seemingly engulfed her entire left side.

Izuku:'uhh that seems really big, and the system said that healing takes up a lot of stamina I probably don't have a lot of ti-'

As Izuku was about to finish his thought he was suddenly hit with extreme exhaustion and promptly fell over and passed out, which just happened to be on Gal-Might's lap

Gal-Might looked down at her injury, at first glance she became saddened to see it was first there and her logical side fired back at her for getting her hopes up but at a closer look, she realized that all the discoloration was gone, and the injury seemed to of gotten smaller.

Gal-Might:'Oh my god! He-he actually started healing it'

Gal-Might broke down and cried, for the first time since she was told she was dying, she cried, not out of sadness like the many nights before but out of relief, relief she was going to be ok and relief that she could continue keeping people safe. She looked down at the young boy sleeping on her lap and smiled at him.

Gal-Might:'Sometimes all it takes to make a difference is the Right person at the wrong place at the right time huh toshinori?'

As she was thinking about her mentor she heard an explosion in the distance and looked at her pockets and realized the slime villain was gone

Gal-Might:'Oh no! He got out when the kid grabbed my leg!'

Izuku was startled awake at the sound of the explosion. Quickly getting his bearings he saw a system message.

As Izuku was getting his bearings he saw Gal-Might running off toward the explosion and he saw a note next to him that read:

Sorry Kid, gotta go I'll meet up with you later the sludge villain escaped. But thank you for your help. If you can I'd like to see you again after this

Izuku smiled at Gal-Might thanking him while he was walking back home, but when he looked up he realized he was at the villain scene, his fanboy instincts must've guided him here

Civilian #1:"Why aren't any of the heroes doing anything?"

Civilian #2:"None of them have the correct quirk to deal with the villain and he's taken a hostage."

Izuku hearing that made his way to the front and saw the same sludge villain that the note mentioned.

Izuku:'He must've escaped when I grabbed her leg! This is completely my fault! But where is Gal-Might'

Izuku turned around to scan the crowd and saw Gal-Might without her hero costume on gripping a pole with her right arm and her side with her other arm.

Izuku:'My healing must not of worked! This situation is completely my fault!'

Izuku looked at his stamina to see how much he had to see if he could do anything.

He was still empty! He looked on at the villain to see if any hero would show up to save whoever had been caught, but he saw her. Izuku saw the person captured by the Sludge Villain, it was Katsumi her eyes met his, she looked like she was about to cry. Izuku had never seen Katsumi cry, even as children. And before he knew it he was running at the Sludge Villain with his palm pulled back preparing to give everything he could. The world went silent around him, he couldn't hear the heroes screaming for him to stop or the roaring fires around him, all he saw was himself and Katsumi who needed saving and he said one thing

Izuku:"GET AWAY FROM HER!"

And he unleashed the blast he stored up, not a purple flame, nor an orange one, this was a bright blazing blue fire flew from his hand consuming everything in its path completely encasing the Sludge Villain, yet never touching Katsumi. The moment the fire wave ended Izuku fell to the ground blacked out from exhaustion as was Katsumi. But the Sludge villain was not out of the game yet. The little bit of the Sludge villain that remained reformed and screamed

Sludge Villain:"YOU AGAIN! YOU'VE RUINED EVERYTHING! I'LL KILL YOU"

As the Sludge Villain formed a spear from its sludge and charged for izuku, a blur passed them and met the Sludge Villain head on

Civilian #1:"Look it's Gal-Might!"

Gal-Might held off the spear of sludge as she prepared her own attack to end the villain once and for all

Gal-Might:"DETROIT SMMMMAAAAAAAASSSSSSSHHHHHHHH"

As she released her punch onto the villain it was so strong it created an updraft and it started raining.

She stood tall with her arms raised in a champion position hiding the pain she felt while forcing her body to use OFA after her time limit. She quickly answered a few press questions before getting far away as possible from the reporters. She ran into an empty alley and fell to the ground puking out some blood and clutching her side until she could stand again

*back with Izuku*

After waking from his exhausted state and being overlooked by paramedics who recognized who he was from his time at the hospital and realized he overdid his quirk and that he was otherwise ok was given the ok to go home, but not before he received an earful from the pro hero about how reckless he was and how he could've died,

After getting chewed out by the Pros he was walking back home when he heard someone come around the corner behind him, It was Katsumi. Izuku lightly smiled at her, happy to see she was ok

Katsumi:"Don't Think this makes you better than me Deku! I would've had him anyways"

As she finished her words she spun around and started trudging home, Izuku would've been upset had he not noticed the lack of bite in her words, the quiet thank you she mumbled after she turned around and the notification he got from the system.

Izuku:"You're welcome Katsumi."

Upon hearing this Katsumi jumped slightly and started rushing home faster mumbling about "dam Deku and his good hearing"

As Izuku was admiring the new skill he got, he didn't notice someone walk out of an alleyway in front of him until he had bumped into them and unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your perspective, that person happened to be facing toward him...and was a girl, and as such he landed face first in their breasts. Izuku startled at just having bumped into someone took two steps back before realizing who it was

Izuku:"Gal-Might? What are you doing here?"

Gal-Might:"I wanted to say thank you Young Midoriya. If you hadn't healed me and still ran into the villain with only the thought of protecting your friend, I wouldn't have realized that I didn't live up to my own standards I put to others, heroes are always risking their lives to save others, I had gotten complacent. But you running in to save your friend reminded me of how I used to be, always willing to rush in to help anyone no matter the risks. So thank you"

Izuku:"But, my healing didn't even work, and it's my fault the villain got loose again in the first place."

Izuku was looking at the ground waiting for her to realize he's right and to start criticizing him on rushing in so recklessly, but instead she put her hand on top of his head and started chuckling

Gal-Might:"Is that what you're worried about kiddo? Listen we all make mistakes, and who said your healing didn't work? Normally If I exceed my time limit by even a second I'll blackout from pain, but I could stand today, while yes it was still painful I could stand and move! Your healing has done more for me in about 30 seconds than what years of surgeries have done for me, thank you kid."
