Chapter 21 - Spar

"Is there anywhere you want to go Toga?" Izuku asked. The day was still young, and he wouldn't mind accompanying Toga since he had nothing urgent planned anyways.

"Really? Izuku wants to do things with me?" Toga asked excitedly.

"I did say you're my responsibility now right? So, what do you want to do?"

"Ehehe~, let's go then!" Toga bumped her first into the air and dragged Izuku away excitedly.

"...This is what you do all day?" Izuku looked at Toga, baffled. He and she were sitting in an alleyway, waiting for a good samaritan or an evil person with bad intentions toward the defenseless high-school girl to check on them.

"When I'm bored, I go to a nearby park and catch some birds as well. But this is easier since humans can't fly away," Toga said as if nothing was wrong. She rested her head on Izuku's shoulder, strangely enjoying the atmosphere of the dark alleyway.

"Do you have friends?" Izuku asked, trying to find a single normal thing Toga had in life. At least he had Lin before, while Toga seemed like she had nothing.

"I sometimes play with Giran, but he hates me since I keep coming with different appearances. He doesn't know how to have fun hmph…" She said, smiling lightly at the mention of the villain broker.

"That's something, Any hobbies?"

"Does drinking Izuku's blood count as a hobby?" She asked.

"...No,"

"But most depressed person's hobbies are drinking alcohol. Isn't this the same thing?" Toga said, trying to defend her actions.

"Well, yes, but no…" Izuku tried to retort but saw no counterpoint as quirks do make people react differently than the norm, "Anyway if this is all you do, let's go somewhere else,"

"Go where?"

"You'll see,"

"Here's one room. Enjoy your stay,"

Izuku took the card from the employee's hands and walked inside with Toga [Businessman form] carrying the guitar case. The two look around and felt amazed by the grandeur of the place.

"Have you been here Izuku?" Toga asked.

"Nope," Izuku said as he pressed the elevator's button to the 4th floor, "I'm also surprised the insides are this grand,"

The two walked through a series of doors before arriving at their room and went in. Izuku whistled as he saw how big the room was. "This is better than I thought,"

It was a reinforced plain white empty room with the only furniture being a few training dummies standing on the sides. The floor was layered by a thin gym cushion to prevent major accidents from happening.

Izuku and Toga who had transformed back were currently in a standard training room designed to withstand quirk damages up to a certain power level.

Izuku had read about Endeavor having a business like this a while ago and was intrigued. Apparently, by using his title as the rank 2 hero, he had built a place where future or current heroes could train their quirk freely.

It was a popular idea that started to spread all over japan, seeing that almost every prefecture had a hero and future heroes, not to mention hidden villains. Anyone could only imagine how much profit this brought him.

Izuku removed his sneaky getup and took his claymore out. He gave 2 dark-grey knives to Toga to replace her army knife and held the third one for his own use.

"So, Toga, have you trained in martial arts before or have you just been relying on your instincts this whole time?" Izuku asked as he immediately turned around and threw his dagger at Toga's thighs.

"Nope," Toga replied. She swerved her lower body casually to avoid the knife. "It's all instinct," she says.

"That's unfair," Izuku said, a little enviously. He believed that Toga's quirk passively affected her body to make it more combat-oriented by granting her enhanced agility and reflexes.

Izuku then recalled the knife as it rushed back to him, almost striking Toga, but she also managed to avoid it. It took some stamina for him to do this, but he estimated that he could do at least 100 more before getting tired.

His stamina consumption might be crazy, but so is his regeneration. "If you defeat me, I'll let you drink until you're satisfied," Izuku yelled as he dashed toward Toga.

"Really?" Toga yelled out. Her instincts seemed to work overtime with that promise of a reward as she mimicked Izuku and dashed forward while throwing one of her knives.

Izuku used his quirk and forced the knife back toward her. She deflected it casually with her other knife and avoided Izuku's roundhouse left kick. Toga was about to counterattack when she felt a familiar force push against her stomach.

"Argh!" Toga stepped back and pouted, "How am I supposed to fight you like this?" She was upset. Izuku can manipulate every movement she makes, and every attack he uses is just a distraction to use his quirk from a closer range.

"That's your problem," Izuku shrugged. "I'm having trouble using my quirk on a living body too you know,".

He estimated that using his quirk against a living and moving object would consume at least five times more than usual. It could also be more costly depending on the strength of the object he was attempting to manipulate.

"Uggh," Toga had no choice but to relentlessly attack and split Izuku's attention as much as possible to create openings. If what he said is true, then he will use his quirk on her sparingly.

For the next 30 minutes, Toga gave it her all, relentlessly attacking and jumping at every opportunity she thought she had created, only to be deflected at the last second by Izuku's quirk or claymore.

Toga eventually managed to destabilize Izuku's stance by parrying his claymore. He was about to fall, and Toga seized the opportunity and pounced on him with two daggers poised to pierce his body.

Izuku suddenly formed a ball of force around him, pushing anything and everything near him out with force, just as the daggers were about to stab him. Toga was unsurprised to see Izuku's stupid response, and she continued her pursuit without pausing for even a second.

She wanted his blood, and she was prepared to kill for it.

(A/N: Slight retcon on this. Uh, apparently, when Izuku entered the U.A. entrance exam, he was already 15. I set him up as 12/13 before, which should've been 14 since I want to only have a 1-year buffer.

So, right now is about the time when canon Izuku would've met All Might
