Chapter 13 _ the Examination day

Amid the hushed tension of the examination room, the rustling of papers and the occasional clearing of throats were the only sounds that filled the air. Ahmad focused on his test paper, diligently answering the questions to the best of his abilities.

The hours seemed to stretch on, but eventually, the exam came to an end. Sighs of relief mixed with sighs of uncertainty as students filed out of the hall.

After the exams were over, Ahmad, Tyrone, and Olivia met up with some of their friends near the university library. As they gathered, their conversation quickly revolved around the exam they had just taken.

Zara, one of their classmates, couldn't contain her frustration. "I can't believe how tough that last question was. I hope they consider partial credit."

Alicia chimed in, "I totally blanked on the third essay question. I couldn't even finish it."

Ahmad empathized with their struggles. "I know what you mean. The last question had me stumped too. But let's hope for the best."

Tyrone, ever the optimist, said, "Come on, guys, we've studied hard for this. I'm sure we did better than we think."

As they exchanged their thoughts and experiences, the conversation eased their anxieties. Olivia added, "No matter what, we've got each other's backs. We'll get through this together."

Their camaraderie and mutual support shone through during these stressful times, and their friendships continued to be a pillar of strength as they navigated the challenges of university life.

Later, as they left the university grounds, they couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment, having faced the exams with determination and camaraderie. It was another step forward in their journey of growth and learning.

Ahmad, after departing from his friends, felt a sense of relief as he made his way out of the examination hall. He knew he had given it his best effort, and the burden of the test had been lifted, if only momentarily.

With a bright smile on his face, he decided to call his mother. "Hello, Mom," he greeted her over the phone.

"Ahmad, you sound happy," she observed.

"I am, Mom. We've just finished the examination," he replied.

Her voice brimmed with pride, "Oh, really? Congratulations, son. I'm sure you did absolutely great. I'm very proud of you."

"Thank you, Mom. Your words mean the world to me," he responded, his happiness amplified by his mother's encouragement.

After the call, Ahmad decided to visit his favorite bookstore, "Sullivan's Books," which was conveniently located near the University. Eddie Sullivan, the friendly owner and a fellow book enthusiast, was there to greet him.

"Hey, Mr. Sullivan," Ahmad said as he entered the store.

"Ahmad, it's been a while," Mr. Sullivan replied, a warm smile on his face. He handed Ahmad a book, saying, "Have you seen this new release?"

Ahmad examined the book, "The Chronicles of Enoria: The Lost Prophecy." The beautifully illustrated cover and intriguing title immediately caught his attention. He could sense an exciting adventure hidden within its pages.

"I haven't heard of this one," Ahmad confessed, feeling drawn to it.

Mr. Sullivan nodded, "It's a fantastic fantasy novel that's been getting a lot of buzz. I think you'll enjoy it."

Excited by the new discovery, Ahmad decided to buy the book. Mr. Sullivan carefully wrapped it, and Ahmad left the store, eager to dive into the world of "The Lost Prophecy."

As he walked out of the bookstore, he suddenly spotted Aysha nearby. "Ahmad?" she called out in surprise.

Ahmad turned to see Aysha, her face radiant. "Aysha," he said with a welcoming smile. "The bookstore again, huh?" she teased.

"Of course," Ahmad replied, "I can't resist Mr. Sullivan's recommendations."

Curious, Aysha asked, "What book did you get this time?"

Ahmad proudly showed her "The Chronicles of Enoria: The Lost Prophecy." Aysha took a look and admitted, "Fantasy isn't usually my genre. I'm more of a drama and romance type."

With a playful smile, Ahmad remarked, "Ah, one of those, I see."

They continued to chat, sharing book recommendations, stories, and laughter. As the sun began to set, they decided to walk together, enjoying each other's company as their friendship continued to grow.
