Blue Paint

"Hey, want to be reincarnated?" It all started with that simple question, sure it wasn't said exactly in that way or context but it's all the same, the events remained the same... and so did its effects, its effects on both her story and on herself. Mysterious beings sending people across the many worlds through a cafe and their strange sense of doing things have brought her into an experience that she would either regret experiencing or look back on as necessary suffering. An alien planet of human-looking people who display power and skills of unique origin. With blasters, air rifles, railguns, flying ships, flying cars, spaceships, teleporters, and enormous rings, she woke to find herself in a world that was foreign to her with all forms of objects that she could only dream of. They continuously went against what she thought to be humanly possible, though I guess that is no longer a valid thought to have, they however have predetermined thoughts about her. The people there despised her existence, they wished for her pain, her suffering, her death... Throughout many years of pain and suffering, she still found a way to come out on top, she found a way to prove her existence ignoring all that was done to her and said about her. Like a bolt of lightning, she came quickly, she came loudly, and she left her presence in the hearts and minds of the people she encountered, for that was what she desired, for however much they wanted her erasure and disappearance she wanted them to be reminded of her presence even more. Blue Paint. Her hair and eyes cultivate the paint that is splattered across the canvas that is her, and the pain she amasses shall be the brush she uses to plaster said paint. At the end of the journey even with the many things, she shall experience on the way her mind will always go back to when she was asked that very simple question. "Hey, do you want to be reincarnated?" *** Extra Tags – Gender-bender, Action, Adventure, War, etc. Chapter length - 1500 - 2700 One chapter a week. Fall From Junk II

"Well, It's a ship, duh."

Now that the tarp was no longer covering it, the large vehicle was clear for Lulu to see as the sun beaming through the warehouse window glared down on it causing it to shine as if it had just recently been freshly wiped clean.

The slightly large ship had a denser frame than most and it sported four large jet thrusters separated evenly across its two wings. The ship also had large thrusters near its tail end that pointed downwards.

"Wow..."

She could only stare at the ship in slight amazement, she wasn't amazed because she was seeing such a ship in front of her, no, it was because It was her friend who had been messing with it.

Lulu didn't how much of the ship was there due to Karma's fiddling, but she could somewhat make out the designs of some parts not having been there originally along with places around screws being dented from an unknown force.

"I know, it's amazing, isn't it? After finding a ship with its frame mostly intact, I thought "why not try and fix it." so I've been using what I remembered from what your mother had been teaching you about mechanics and tried my hand at it."

"I always knew you were intelligent, Karma."

"Thanks, so did I."

Pfft - The two girls glanced at each other before they both started laughing at the backhanded compliment.

Settling down, Karma looked around as Lulu stepped next to the completely white ship and placed her right hand on it.

"So how long have you been at this?"

"Around... maybe two and a half cycles- hey Lulu, can push that over here please."

Finding what she was looking for, Karma pointed her hand over at the metal stairs that had wheels on the bottom of them. Spotting it, Lulu quickly her head and went over to grab it.

"Sure."

Upon reaching the stairs, she tried lifting it as she picked it up with a little struggle Karma's voice entered her ears.

"It has wheels, Lulu."

"Oh, I knew that!"

Laughing at the flustered bluehead, Karma watched as she placed it back on the ground and push it toward her.

"Hey, Karma."

"Yeah?"

"I can sense Flauna flowing from the ship's engine... why is that, don't tell me-"

"Yep, it's an energy crystal. I figured it would be a great energy source, since it's in its name and all that, you know."

Seeing the streams of blue in the air Lulu scrunched her eyebrows and immediately questioned the source of it because the Flauna in the air of the warehouse was far too thick to not be coming from a source; she was proven correct by Karma's response.

"I see your reasoning, but what I'm really curious about is how in the hell did you get your hands on an energy crystal."

"Simple really, huff"

With a huff, Karma pulled off the ship's front cover to reveal the engine of the ship. Carefully, she placed it on the ground as Lulu also came over and placed her gaze on the engine and the crystal in the center of it.

The engine was full of wires pipes and all sorts of machinery that the girls knew very little of but in the center of all that was a clear box that contained a medium mass of purple crystals that were glowing quite brightly as the lit up the girl's faces.

"How simple?"

"I stole it, no, I borrowed it."

Pointing her figure at Lulu she corrected herself with a small smile on her face, not taking her eyes away from the engine of the ship.

"Haaa, of course, you did."

"What's that supposed to mean?! How else was I supposed to get my hands on this bad boy, huh."

"Well... you could've asked your Miss Helia, I'm sure she wouldn't have a problem with giving you one as long as she knew what for."

"Hmm... You know what Lulu, you make a very good point, a great point even. But remember this, it would no longer be a secret if I did that, and that wouldn't be very fun, now would it?"

"Meh, I guess. Anyways, why is it white, the ship I mean."

Not peeling her eyes off of the energy crystal she moved on and asked another question she had on her mind.

"Well, that's because- wait! Don't think I'm going to overlook what you just said, Lulu. You can see the Flow of Flauna now! Since when? Wait, why didn't you tell me?"

With her mind rushing to the start of their previous conversation, Karma quickly removed her focus from the energy crystal and place her hands on Lulu's shoulders before questioning Lulu in her surprise."

"Hehe."

Rubbing the back of her head, Lulu avoided Karma's steady gaze like the plague as her eyes darted all across the room before sighing and looking slightly up to look the girl in her eyes.

"Do you remember how after I woke and went momentary blind?"

"Yeah."

"And then how I told you how my vision had returned, "For the most part."."

"Yes, I remember, why?"

"That's when I became able to see it."

"And you're just telling me now?!"

"Yep!"

Replying somewhat cheerfully, Lulu had an exaggerated smile on her face as she shut her eyes while facing Karma.

"Ugh, you'll be the death."

Groaning Karma began to regret ever coming to like this personality of hers, it had many instances where it would annoy her to death.

"I did tell you not to worry about it."

"Still."

Grabbing ahold of Karma's hands with both her normal and metallic hands, she began to speak to her in a low and apologetic tone.

"Yeah I know, I'm sorry for not telling you sooner. I just wanted to make sure this was a long-lasting thing."

"I understand... Wanna work on this ship with me?"

After a short pause of silence, Karma shrugged her shoulders and returned her attention to the ship while pulling Lulu along.

"Sure thing, I would love to. What do you have for me to do?"

"Well, the reason I painted the entire ship white was to, one, get rid of the varying colors of the mismatched and old pieces and. And, two, because I thought you would have loved to paint this ship if you had the chance."

Looking at the ship, for a moment, Lulu's gaze lingered on it as it finally came to her. A spark, a small flame of inspiration lit in her mind and at the same time, a beautiful smile like the rising sun blossomed on her face.

Seeing the smile on her face she knew that what she thought was right, with Lulu's face alit right now Karma could tell that she was being pulled back into her joy for art.

"Thank you, Karma... I mean it."

"Of course, anything for you Lulu."

She couldn't help but smile in return as she was joyous in Lulu's joy,

"Yeah, I'll leave you to it. Just don't draw anything obscene on it."

"Yeah, yeah, like I would ever draw something like that. Just go do what you have to do and get out my face, birdie.

"Wow, ok, I see how it is. I'll get out of your hair then, paint's in the corner with the brushes."

Slightly waving at each other they both went to do their separate things. Karma grabbed the wheeled stairs and moved them to one side of the ship while Lulu went and grabbed several large buckets of paint, water, and brushes.

"Hey, Karma! Can you put the front cover back on, I'm bout to get started!"

"Sure thing!"

Calling out from the other side of the warehouse, Karma quickly did as she was asked before returning and turning on some soothing music.

Standing before the ship, she stared at it as an image began to form in her mind; with a smirk appearing on her face she grabbed a large brush and dunked it in the bucket of black paint after which she began color blocking.

She painted the entire ship black with strokes of blue going across the sides, she painted large blocks of red on the end of each jet thruster before pausing for a moment to let the paint dry.

After a few moments, she used red and yellow, and orange to draw a wavy form of fire, imitating the shape of Karma's shoulder-length and slightly curly hair. Using greys and reds she made the figure of the clothes Karma would wear on a casual day as she drew them in a way where her form seemed to be dancing.

Dancing around her body was a line of electricity that connected with a wave of blue, light blues, and white to draw lightning taking the form of her long blue hair. Using dark blues and white she drew her figure dancing with Karma, holding her hands, if it were ever in motion it would be moving to the song Karma was playing.

Taking her time to add in the details and make their figures and bodies closer and closer to their actual appearance, Lulu was grinning during the entire process.

Going nonstop drawing while paying very little attention to her surroundings, she had been painting for many hours. Karma had stopped what she was doing and came over to watch her halfway through.

She was entranced as she watched her paint, noticing how the girl stopped once in a while due to her hand shaking heavily she stayed silent due to the smile that remained on her face.

Lulu seemingly came to a halt as she wrapped lines of fire and lightning around Karma and Lulu before backing away from the side of the ship and gazing at the large painting.

Standing next to Lulu, she stared at it along with her and waited for her to say something.

"What do you think?"

Turning to Lulu for a moment to look her in the eyes she caught the look of anxiousness and nervousness on her face as she slightly smiled; turning back to the ship she stared at it.

The painting she did on the ship was a piece that signified the two of them and perhaps their joy when being together.

Lightning and fire circled the ship firebirds and lightning butterflies moved around them, connecting with their hair as they were in the center dancing with wide smiles spread across their faces - showing the joy they had in each other's presence. It was a painting that made Karma smile at the mere sight of it.

"I love it. You did such an amazing job with this, truly."

I love writing these chapters a lot, I get to explore these two's relationship and how they act with each other which is a joy.
