Chapter 6: finding out who my death flags are

The bath is filled to the brim with lukewarm water and a basket full of herbs sat on a folding bamboo table "Angel which herbs?" Completely at for lost, I looked towards the chibi angel. The angel resumed his normal form and started picking up the herbs and throwing them into the tub.

I put my hand into the bathwater and tried to channel my moon magic through my hand while moving it into a rotation. I felt small parts of my hand become icy cold and the water turns into a beautiful bright blue. This feels very weird, I didn't even cast a spell and it seems just pouring some of my moon mana into the tub works wonder.

"My child I will now leave you be" Angel waved goodbye and flew out the window, I strip out of my Hanfu and slide into the tub to relax for a while. After an hour of soaking up the herbs, the bathtub turned brown losing its previous bright blue color.

"Cheng Chin!" I hollered for my maid, who came rushing in with a yellow and blue hanfu that has some animals designs of some kind of bird. Cheng Chin Proceeds to get me ready before walking me out to the carriage.

I examine the interior of the carriage and gave a satisfied nod of approval despite being the Qaihong Empire trash princess they wouldn't let me travel to other kingdoms in a run-down carriage.

"My child holds onto this" Angel passed a smooth green stone that's cold to the touch "What kind of stone is this Angel?" I tiled my head in confusion. The angel laughed and resume his normal form and sat across from me "It's a nephrite jade, it protects the holder from evil spirits and can turn your negative emotions into positive ones" he explained with that same gentle look.

I placed the nephrite jade into my sleeve for safekeeping with a small smile gracing my slightly plump lips. I closed my eyes to look at the small moon inside my head, something strange happened while I gazed at the small moon.

A small portion of the light formed a line and started moving out of my sight ' What's happening?' I thought as my facial features convert into confusion. Another streak of light left my small moon but this time I follow it subconsciously through my body.

I passed many important organs along my way till I have reached my heart, the light enters my heart or what the cultivation books would say the Heart Chakar. Is the small moon in my head trying to unlock my heart chakra?

I open up my eyes and looked over at the angel who sat across from me "Angel why is the moon essence trying to unlock my heart chakra?" I furrow my brows in confusion, the angel looked at me surprised.

"It's trying to unlock your heart chakra?" he sounded baffled by my words and the usual gentle look on his face turned into bafflement, I nodded my head. The angel got up and touched my forehead the next thing I know he had turned into a brilliant white light.

I quickly closed my eyes and search for the angel inside my body, soon I found myself right outside my heart where the golden-haired angel stood inspecting my heart chakra. He touched my heart and felt my self concussion fading into nothing.

"My lady, we are at Guiying palace" a voice called me out of the dark void and brought me back to my new reality "Oh? We are there already?" I asked clearly in disbelief. The voice replied "Yes my lady, you had slept for two days straight" I widen my eyes open in shock.

Cheng Chin open my carriage door and helped me out of the carriage with great ease, the royal family of the Guiying empire stood proudly at the steps of the main palace. I kept my back straight and held my head up high and clasp my hands together.

I walked towards them like a proper young lady of my status "Princess Qaihong Gho from the Qaihong empire greets Guiying royal family" I lowed my head in a slight bow to show my respect towards the other royalties.

The emperor Guiying Dishi Hao smiled warmly at me "I emperor Guiying Dishi Hao welcomes the eighth princess from Qaihong empire" He lowered his head in acknowledgment. The rest of the main family introduce themselves to me.

"Guiying Shufen please show princess Qaihong Gho around" Guiying Dishi Hao order his son with a knowing look. Guiying eye meet his father hazel ones "Of course father, please follow me Lady Qaihong Gho" Guiying Shufen hold out his arm along with a dashing smile.

I toss him a gentle smile and took his arm, he began guiding me around "this is the training grounds where our new and old guards train" Guiying Shufen pointed towards an open field that has many weapons and archy targets.

"Do you practice in any weapons?" I asked like a curious young maiden, Guiying Shufen tilted his head down "I practice the arts of the lighting saber" he replied with a light blush. I smiled like a beacon that lights up the night sky "Really that's so cool!" I said with ethnicism.

He looked away from my beaming smile 'how fucken cliche, lighting saber arts? Don't make me laugh everyone knows how common that is in cultivation novels' I scoff on the inside.

"Could you demo straight it for me sometime?" I asked in an excited tone, he stiffly nodded his head. I acted merrily the rest of the time he was touring me around, he soon brought me to my bedroom for the remaining days of my visit.

I bid my goodbyes to prince Guiying Shufen with that cheerful charade that I have put up all of this time around the prince. I enter my room and see my maid Cheng Chin standing up straight and lowering her head "Miss do you want me to set up that weird formation for you again for tonight's moon?" Cheng Chin asked respectfully.

I grinned at Cheng Chin "Please have it prepared for me on the balcony Cheng Chin" I replied in a playful tone. Cheng Chin raised her head and took out one of my suitcases from the closet out and grabbed the needed items.

I guess I should go for another quick bath before supper is ready and change into an evening hanfu, that reminds me. "Angel! What can you tell me about those two death flags here?" I looked towards a vanity where the angel sat combing his beautiful wings with a weird-looking brush.

"Guiying Xiang and Guiying Xeiren are twin brothers. They are the Tenth and eleventh princes, They are a dangerous pair of twins that can cause downfalls of nobles and royals alike if you end up in their bad books" Angel replied patiently.

I let that information sink in for a bit before opening up my mouth to know more "What else is there?" I asked, feeling extremely interested about the pair of brothers. The angel chuckled at her reaction.

"They often spend their time pranking the palace maids and eunuchs alike and even some of the guards aren't unscathed from their nature. They could usually be found on the training grounds sparring with the guards" Angel replied in a bored-like tone, he had put down the weird comb and stood up to stretch his six wings.
