Pondering (194)

As Nakada gradually stirred from his slumber, his eyes fluttered open, revealing a renewed energy that echoed in the vibrant gleam of his golden irises. He took a moment to collect his surroundings before realizing he had rested on Anri's lap.

A genuine, appreciative smile graced Nakada's lips. "Thank you," he said, his voice carrying a hint of gratitude. "I slept well,"

A faint blush touched Anri's cheeks as she responded, her composure momentarily disrupted by the unexpected flattery. "I-I'm glad I could help. If there's anything else you require, just let me know." She subtly adjusted her posture, attempting to regain her usual poise despite the lingering warmth that had settled in her expression.

...should he try it...even though he doesnt like when people tease him...should he really do something like that...fuck it.

Nakada's lips curled into a playful smile as he expressed his gratitude. "Well, who knew that a lap could be such a comfortable pillow. Maybe I should consider making it a regular thing," he teased.

Anri's cheeks tinged with a deeper shade of pink, and she cleared her throat, momentarily caught off guard by Nakada's teasing. "Well, I-I'm here to assist with your recovery in any way I can," she stammered, her attempt to regain composure revealing a subtle fluster that danced across her features.

Nakada smiled a bit, her reaction was priceless. He might making teasing her a daily thing...might being the key word here.

Currently he has more important things to worry about, like his last match or the fact that he was to slow last game.He wasnt able to guess Pxg plan before it was to late.

He won by the skin of his teeth,if the match had lasted for as much as 5 seconds,he would have needed to be sub out and that would have been the end of Barcha.

Barcha defense was that garbage...Nishioka and Bachira wouldnt be able to keep up with Rin Shido and Chapi.

If he was a betting game as soon as he would have been subbed out,Loki time would have ran out and the person to replace him would have been Charle.

Yeah...no matter how he looked at it,Barcha would have been fucked, his body also felt pretty numb,he probably couldnt do any physical exercice at all.

He probably wont be able to train even at all before the match maybe only do some warm up or something like that but that would be fine.

They had played against the hard teams already..they only had to beat Manchine an even though Manchine was by no mean a week team with Nagi,Chigiri,Kunigami and Christ Prince...they were a pretty stacked team but...

His current self probably could slam them....

Sensing Nakada's deep contemplation, Anri gently cleared her throat and offered a soft smile. "Is there something on your mind, Nakada? If there's anything you'd like to talk about or if you need assistance with anything else"

"Oh..i was just wondering..how long do i have before i can train again"Nakada said with a thoughtful expression on his face

Anri considered Nakada's question thoughtfully before responding.

"Given the intensity of the matches and the strain on your body, it would be best to allow yourself some time for a thorough recovery. I'd recommend a few days of rest before gradually easing back into your training regimen. However, it's crucial to listen to your body and not rush the process. We can monitor your progress, and if everything goes well, we can discuss a more detailed plan for your return to training."

Anri, noticing Nakada's movement, couldn't help but inquire, "Where are you off to now?"

Nakada's casual response hinted at his dedication to the sport even during moments of rest. "I'm heading to watch Manshine's games. While I might be unable to train physically, analyzing their plays should keep me in the loop," he explained with a nonchalant demeanor.

Anri couldn't help but admire Nakada's unwavering dedication to the sport. As he mentioned his plans to analyze Manshine's games, a subtle smile touched her lips. Her thoughts echoed, 'Even at a time like this, the only thing on his mind is moving forward.'

Nakada's departure was accompanied by a casual yet friendly, "Anyway, see you later, Anri." With a hand tucked casually in his pocket, he made his way out of the room. His steps were purposeful, heading towards the area where he could catch highlights of Manshine's matches.

The room held a faint sense of his presence, and Anri couldn't help but watch him go with a mixture of admiration and a growing sense of connection.

As Nakada yawned, fatigue evident in his movements, he reached the seemingly empty room. With a bored expression, he turned on the display and selected Manshine.
