3 : A LETTER

It has been six months since I came to this world and I have been training sinse the beginning I thought to my self looking at my stats, that I had improved a lot .

I felt satisfied after seeing my stats knowing that my hard work had paid off. i went to the bathroom and got ready for the day.

today I have a match that will decide if we go to the nationals, I went to the changing room and found the aready there.

they seemed to notice me and the coach came to me and said " taro you arrived , sit I was worried that something had happened to you".

I nodded my head to him, and he began telling us the lineup. It was a 4-3-3. After telling us the plan, we went to the pitch and warmed up. Soon, the match started.

They had the ball, and one of their midfielders passed the ball to the right winger, then he passed the ball to their striker. Our defender tried to take the ball, but the striker passed the ball to the left winger, who was free.

The left winger got the ball and went inside the box and shot, but luckily, it hit the post and went out. Now, the ball was with us.

The keeper passed it to our right back, who passed it to our midfielder. Two players tried to rush him, so he passed it to me. I got the ball, and immediately three players came to press me.

The first tried to get the ball, but before he could, I did a la croqueta and got past him. The second tried to steal the ball, but I saw it coming and moved the ball to the right and got past him.

The third tried tackling me, but I hit the ball forward and outran him. There was one defender in front of me. I was inside the box about 19 meters, so I faked a shot, and he fell for it and tried to block it.

So, I went to the left, and this time, actually shot. My shot hit the back of the net before the keeper could even move. It was a goal in the 14th minute, and the score was now 1-0. I ran to the corner to celebrate, and my team followed me.

After we were done with our

celebration, we went to our positions,

and soon the kickoff began.

The ball was with their striker, who tried to pass it back, but I intercepted the pass and began running with the ball to their goal. One defender tried to tackle me, but I used my speed and went past him.

The second tried to foul me and grabbed me, but I shrugged him off and continued running until I reached the keeper, who tried to swipe the ball off me.

But, I did a rainbow flick and got past him and shot to the empty goal. The score was 2-0 in the 44th minute, and the first half had ended. We rested until the second half began.

In the 71st minute, we were awarded a free kick from 27 meters away. I quickly went to retrieve the ball and placed it at the spot.

After taking three steps back, I spread my feet, closed my eyes, and took a deep breath.

I began moving towards the ball and shot it, and it resulted in a knuckleball that went to the top right corner of the goal.

The keeper didn't even move, and it was a goal, completing my hat-trick and bringing the score to 3-0.

The game ended shortly after, and the coach informed us that things would get tougher from now on.

Upon arriving home, I checked the mailbox and found a letter inside. Upon reading it, I thought to myself, "Finally! I was beginning to wonder when it would arrive."
