TIMESKIP (3 WEEKS)
During a scorching hot evening, not far from the Shihoin Ryokan, Sho could be seen running down his street towards his house, dressed in a dark blue cast, a black t-shirt and white shorts.
Before entering his home, he briskly grabbed the handful of mail in the mailbox and dropped it onto Yoruichi's nightstand.
As Sho walked out of Yoruichi's room, he met her in the hallway. They both awkwardly stared at each other until Sho broke the ice and stated his case.
Sho: "I just went into your room to drop off the mail."
Yoruichi: "Oh alright, I thought you went in my room to snoop around."
Yoruichi hastily went into her room and closed the sliding door as Sho went on his way to his room to wash all the sweat off his body. He difficulty took off his sticky shirt with one hand and threw it into the laundry basket. He grabbed 2 towels and threw one onto the shower floor and the other over his cast, as he discarded the rest of his clothing and went into the near freezing shower.
Every cell in his body froze over as Sho began recovering. He read in a local magazine that taking cold baths helps with recovery and he was desperate for any way to get out of his annoyingly large cast.
In between the long cold shower Sho heard Yoruichi yell at him to get out so he sped up his shower. He got out, began drying his hair with his towel and wrapped it around his waist as he went out of the room and into his own personal room. Sho knew Yoruichi didn't like to wait, so Sho put new shorts on and hurryingly ran out of his room to Yoruichi without a shirt, leaving wet footprints throughout the Ryokan.
Yoruichi's arm stretched out as she handed him an envelope. Sho greedily grabbed it and didn't bother reading the sender of the letter, instead he ripped it open and inside it read

Sho's grin spread from ear to ear as he finished reading the letter. He dropped the letter onto the table and let Yoruichi read it as he went to pack his things.
From across the room Yoruichi scanned through the letter and said
Yoruichi: "You're old enough to make your own decisions, so have fun and be safe!"
This was one of the few times a letter made his heart flutter. Sho knew something was different about this program and was more than ready to attack it.
After he finished packing his clothes, Sho pointed out his cast to Yoruichi and asked
Sho: "Can I go to the doctors to get this annoying piece of plastic off my wrist. I've been listening to my body and I think my wrist has fully healed."
Yoruichi: "I can't go but you can ask Yushiro, I'm tied up with my taxes. I know you haven't talked to him in a while since he's been so busy with the ryokan."
Yushiro was usually always working in the kitchen, cleaning the toilets, or greeting guests into their rooms, so Sho never spent a ton of time with Yushiro but since it was closed for the weekend he thought he might have a chance.
Sho went into his room, and watched Yushiro as he began reading through the latest manga from Shonen Jump. Sho gently knocked against the wall, easily frightening Yushiro and asked
Sho: "Can we go to the doctor's office together, I think my wrist is fully healed."
Yushiro: "Well Shutoku's team doctor did say it should be healed within 3 to 4 weeks so why not."
Yushiro grabbed a handful of the latest manga he picked up and walked with Sho to the nearest doctor's office.
After nearly 20 minutes of walking they made it into the doctor office, Yushiro signed in for Sho and talked to the receptionist about why they were here today. Sho sat in the waiting room, and picked up one of Yushiro's manga called "Vagabond" and began reading it.
Halfway through reading it, Sho heard his name get called into the office, so Sho bookmarked where he was in the story and placed it onto Yushiro's lap saying
Sho: "No need to come with me, I'll be fine."
He showed off a rare smile to Yushiro as he went into the doctor's office and waited for the doctor.
After 5 minutes of aimlessly thinking, the doctor walked in and began asking simple questions like. How's your day been? or Has your wrist hurt in the past 2 weeks at all?"
Sho answered the simple questions with ease and confirmed to the doctor that he hasn't felt any discomfort or pain in his wrist since he broke it, which was all good news to him. The doctor excused himself for a minute as he went to grab the necessary tools in order to cut off the large cast.
Before he got his cast off, a nurse came in and persuaded him to get his height checked. So Sho reluctantly walked out of the room and was guided throughout the office to the stadiometer to get his height checked.
Sho took off his shoes and stepped onto the stadiometer and patiently waited for the nurse to call out his height.
Nurse: "You're exactly 173 centimeters tall (5 foot 8 inches). Please put your shoes back on and follow me back into the room."
By the time they got back to the room, the doctor was already sitting in his rolling chair, with a medium sized orthopedic buzzsaw.
The doctor redirected him into a chair, as Sho sat in it and presented his wrist.
Just like that the once broken wrist was finally free and healed.
Following the recent cast coming off, Sho moved his now healed wrist to the left and right and verified to the doctor that he didn't feel any discomfort.
Walking out of the office with a excited grin, Sho presented his right wrist to Yushiro and grabbed a few mangas with it, excitingly saying
Sho: "That annoying piece of plastic is finally off! It feels so nice to be able to grab things with this hand now."

A week has passed since his cast came off.
Sho gradually opened his eyes as his alarm blared him awake. He quickly unlocked his phone and dismissed all of the oncoming alarms. He opened his window and realized how dark it still was.
Grabbing clothes from his drawer, Sho changed out of his pajamas into a simple gray sweatshirt and pants. He slowly opened his sliding door, discreetly walking throughout the ryokan to the kitchen, in hopes of not waking anyone up.
In the kitchen Sho retrieved his duffle bag and made his way to the fridge. In the fridge, Sho grabbed the bento from the top shelf that Yoruichi made and stuffed it into his duffle bag.
From the corner of his eye, Sho read 3:30 am on the microwave clock. He hastily went to the light switch and dimly turned the lights on and immediately found paper, and a pen. He wrote his goodbyes and his feelings to his family, and stealthily turned off the lights and locked the front door.
Outside, Sho heard the nearby critters chirping as he turned his flashlight on, from his phone and began walking his way to the Suruga Train Station.
By the time he got onto the train for Tokyo it was already 3:45 in the morning so Sho found a quiet spot in the back of the train, and took a hour and a half nap.
