A Wild Goose Chase

It was as though time had stop, Jun-oh eyes were still wide open as ji-won stood up straight and looked at him; "You're my mentee' ji-won said as though nothing had happened, "you should sit with me and let's get to know ourselves better' he added.

"You stole my first kiss' Jun-oh said quietly under his breath

'What did you say? Ji-won asked him politely

"You stole my first kiss! Jun-oh shouted.

The crowd gasped and it was their turn to be paused in the moment.

Jun-oh took his bag stood up and ran out, Ji-won ran after him. "Deabak! Si-woon said in excited shock, this semester will be really fun.

Ji-won caught up to Jun-oh and pulled him back to stop him and Jun-oh gave him a slap but ji-won just smiled.

"You're really making a big deal out of nothing Ji-won said, 'we both know it was an accident.

'An accident that would not have happened if you just stayed away from me' Jun-oh said please stay away from me' he shouted and walked quickly to his hostel while Ji-won just stared at him looking troubled.

Jun-oh got to his hostel and just laid face down on his bed scaring Min-ho who was reading and he turned to look at him lying face down on the bed and he sensed something was wrong.

" What's the matter? Min-ho asked him but there was no response so Min-ho stood up from his chair and went to sit on his bed facing Jun-oh. ' How did the welcoming ceremony go? he asked but still no answer from Jun-oh. 'Did something bad happen there? he asked again but Jun-oh still did not answer him and just then Tae-ri came inside.

" Ya! Tae-ri, Min-ho called as Tae-ri walked to his wardrobe keep his things, 'Did something happen at the welcoming party? he asked but Tae-ri just ignored him and took his toiletries to the bathroom. ' Why is no one answering me? Min-ho said to himself.

Tae-ri opened the bathroom door and stepped out a little bit. ' He kissed a senior' Tae-ri said,

"What?' Min-oh shouted in shock his jaw dropping.

Jun-oh kissed senior Ji-won he added and went inside the bathroom locking the door.

Min-ho eyes were popping out in shock, ' Daebak! he exclaimed, how did I miss that. He moved to kneel down beside Jun-oh's bed shaking him. ' Tell me what exactly happened he said, don't leave anything out.

Ji-won laid on his bed staring at the ceiling and remembering the kiss and blushing. He stroked his lips slightly with his hands and smiled. ' You're in trouble Ji-won he said to himself, you're in serious trouble.

The next day Ji-won waited for Jun-oh outside his lecture hall. Jun-oh walked out of the class talking about the class assignment with a fellow course mate and then he spotted ji-won and just kept on walking as though he did not see him. Ji-won hurried up and blocked his path.

'Can I see you for a minute for a minute?' Ji-won said looking at Jun-oh.

Jun-oh's course mate excused himself smiling as he was there at the orientation and saw what happened. He said he'll be leaving first and promised to contact Jun-oh later concerning the assignment.

'You don't have to leave' Jun-oh said to his course mate but he had already left. 'I have nothing to say to you he said staring Ji-won in the eyes

' I 'm sorry but I have something to say to you' Ji-won said not allowing him pass.

" Out of my way! Jun-oh said angrily

'I won't leave until you hear me out

"And why must I hear you out?

' Because you'll be saving a life'

" Then die! Jun-oh pushed him aside and walked out into the campus compound head for the vending machine

Ji-won walked ahead of him and inserted the coins, 'what do you want he asked him but Jun-oh just sighed and walked towards the machine, got his drink but as he was about to leave ji-won held his hand.

' Please I need a freshman to work with for my final year project and I want that freshman to you'.

" Why must it be me Jun-oh said annoyed, pulling his hand free and turning to face him, why, why why! He shouted.

' Just because, ji-won said

" Just because what?

' I like you, just because I like you

" Crazy guy, you must have hit your head somewhere Jun-oh said and walked away.

' Think about it ji-won shouted after him, I won't stop until you say yes'. There were people passing by and they turned to look at ji-won as though he has lost his mind.

Jun-oh walked away looking back once in awhile to see if Ji-won was following him but he was not but he kept on looking back until he bumped into Min-ho.

' Have been calling out your name ' Min-ho said, were has your mind being?

" A crazy bastard has been has been disturbing me all day'

Min-ho put his hand over Jun-oh's shoulder and whispered in his ear ' Is that crazy bastard by chance your boyfriend?

"You must have also lost your mind' Jun-oh said removing Min-ho's hand from over his head

' What do you mean? you guys already kissed, what's left is to start dating. Min-ho said laughing

Jun-oh just gave him a nasty side eye and kept on walking, ' I was just joking, Min-ho called out to him but he kept on walking while Min-ho followed behind laughing until the got to their room and entered inside.

Tae-ri looked down from his bed and Min-ho waved at him whispering that Jun-oh is in a bad mood and Tae-ri asked him why but he said he did not know the details.

Ji-won entered the restaurant where he was meeting some of his friends smiling, he saw Si-woon and they waved at each other as he walked to their table. Si-woon looked at him suspiciously as he sat down.

' What's making so happy? Si-woon asked him immediately he sat down

' What do you mean? Ji-won asked him

' You're smiling from ear to ear, another of his friend at the table said smiling at him.

" It's really nothing Ji-won said and proceeded to pour himself a drink as Si-woon passed him a cup

' How is everyone's final year project turning up? another friend at the table asked

' Don't even get me started, I think I've lost my ability to sleep.

' I honestly thought as Aa final year student I would have less to worry about but that's not the case, another of their friend said.

' So true, Si-woon seconded and then he turned to Ji-won and asked him how far with the new student he was paired with but Ji-won just shrugged it off saying his working on it and another friend commented on the accidental kiss between Ji-won and the new student and everyone started laughing about it.

Ji-won thought about his encounter with Jun-oh earlier on and he smiled to himself shaking his head slightly.

Jun-oh laid on his bed pressing his phone and going over the internet and then he got a message from an unknown number asking if he was asleep and he tried to look at the person's profile but he could not figure out who it was so he just replied "NO" and then the unknown number asked if he had thought about what he said earlier and Jun-oh asked who it was and the number replied that it was Ji-won and asked how he got his number and he said he got it from the department president and Jun-oh just blocked his number turned off the phone and went to sleep.

' Did he block my number? Jun-oh said to himself as he saw that the messages he was sending was no longer delivering. 'Are you kidding me? He blocked my number, me! and he laughed hysterically as he went to get a beer from his fridge still looking at his phone and laughing. This was the first time anyone has ever blocked him, it's usually the other way round.

The next day Jun-ho was in the library with his assignment partner and his two roommates doing their assignment together and then Min-ho suddenly turned to Sara , ' Why are you here he asked her but she just made faces at him and then Min-ho stood up and asked if anyone wanted something to drink and they made their choice but he told Sara that he was not buying anything for her and if she wanted anything she should come by herself so she stood up and went out with him to get the drinks.

As soon as Min-ho and Sara left for the drinks someone brought a drink to Jun-oh and said it was from a guy over there only for Jun-oh to look and see Ji-won waving at him and he just sighed slightly. Tae-ri turned to see who Jun-oh was looking at and saw Ji-won and Ji-won also waved at Tae-ri.

Jun-oh looked at the drink and on it was a sticky note saying " Have you thought about it? I wont stop until you give me the answer I want" Jun-ho just threw the drink in a trash can near the table while looking at Ji-won with a smirk on his face.

Later Min-ho and Sara came back with the drinks and shared it for everyone and they all continued their study.

After they were done Jun-oh's course mate packed his bag and left and the rest started packing up and then they all went but Min-ho and Sara were ahead arguing about something while Tae-ri and Jun-ho were behind walking slowly and enjoying the atmosphere and just then Ji-won came running, calling out to Jun-ho but he paid him no attention and kept on walking.

Ji-won caught up with him and pulled him back holding his hands and telling him to wait. Tae-ri held Jun-ho's hand and pulled Ji-won's hand away from Jun-oh's.
