"Are you sure you don't need me there?" Yalex asked for the nth time.

Samuel and Trevor are preparing to leave to find Blue. Samuel said that he's threatening his own life all of a sudden. It was a recent possibility so he and Trevor decided to look for him.

And as much as Samuel wants to bring Yalex, he won't be much of a help because he and Blue aren't really in good terms. The two always fights like it's their daily routine.

Samuel decided to take only Trevor with him. While he tasked Jessi, Jade and Coleen to search for Rhian.

He said that Rhian might cause a large massacre tonight but it depends with how well she will deal with her raging mind. So he sent the three to try and talk her out of it.

Leaving Yalex and Yvel to look after the dragon and the phoenix given that it's both their first priority now more than anything.

"Good luck!" Yvel said to them while walking them out of the house.

"I trust Rhian with you three. But let's still keep updated with each other." Samuel said to the girls and gestured his hand for a phone call.

"We will. Good luck to you two." Jade said and both her and Coleen took their seat in Jessi's favorite car that she had once used to take Jade the first time.

"You two better make sure that they are both warm. And safe!" Jessi warned while pointing her long and sharp red nails at Yvel and Yalex.

"Geez. Do we look like we're going to barbecue them once you guys leave?" Yalex laughed but it only earned him a couple of glares from everyone.

"Alright! Just go!" He said and cleared his throat and returned inside.

Samuel and Trevor left first since they're gonna have a long travel. Then the girls left as well to find their vampire friend before she kills off every bypassers in her city.

It took Samuel five hours to the very least to finally make it to the village where Blue used to live. Thanks to Trevor who made the traffic magically disappear just for them to go through.

It was raining heavily due to a storm and Samuel still needed to be careful while driving.

"Let's look for a burnt house. It won't be that hard to find." Trevor said and the two started searching while Samuel drives a bit slow now.

After a minute of ten or more...

"Over there!" Trevor suddenly pointed at the left side at the end of the block.

Samuel drove to the direction and parked his car in front of the old and ruined his house.

The two had to make sure no one is around first before they trespassed the off limits grounds.

The two briefly stopped. Finding fresh and tragic memories lingering the place like an old and unsolved mystery case for the people in that village.

Samuel could see from the past of the house everything that happened. It felt more surreal and totally heavy and overwhelming to the chest now that he felt like he's in the scene. And the look on Blue's face were nothing but innocence as he took everyone's lives one by one with just a mere hug with the intention of giving them all a piece of comfort.

Trevor had his own way of seeing the house past. Given that it's dark and tragic. He could see in his vision all that happened. He felt exactly the same way as Samuel.

And the two did not even realized that they had teared up as they watch the scenarios like some movie.

Soon. Those images and illusions led them to the door of the basement. Assuming that Blue is probably there.

Samuel was first to enter and Trevor decided to just wait until his leader calls for his help.

It wasn't even a minute yet when Samuel ran back to him. Trevor shot him a confused look but Samuel only cried as he shook his head vigorously.

"I-I can't see him like this... It's too painful to bear." He muttered while cradling his aching head.

Images of the past kept coming to him the sooner he had seen the boy down there.

Trevor read and watched from the time keeper's mind. Too afraid to even see Blue with his own eyes.

His eyes visibly shook with tears. He didn't know that Blue was more than just 'heavily affected' by what happened. He wondered how did Blue even managed to stay alive at this point.

"H-he's giving up. B-but he p-promised me he'll stay alive..." Trevor mumbled in shaky voice as he and Samuel had sat down the floor dejectively.

"Those chains. It's one of the many reasons in this house that's keeping him bound to his memories." Samuel said.

"But he won't easily let it go. You've seen what those chains means to him ever since he's a child. Those chains aren't mere bounds. It has a life and purpose to him." Trevor grumbled and Samuel couldn't disagree more.

"But it's the only way to help him set everything free. He's locking himself in here only to pull himself down further. Instead of comforting him as he expects it to be." Samuel suddenly stood up and stared at the door.

Trevor finally stood up too. Reading what was playing in Samuel's mind.

A thunder cracked. Ripping the sky once again. It didn't took long for them to hear the angel's familiar screams of his mother.

Trevor and Samuel felt so terrible. They want to help him but how.

They can't even touch him.

Samuel felt the most disappointed. He felt like he just dropped back to square one with Blue. It made him more anxious that the more he refrains himself of using his powers to see the future. Terrible things keeps happening.

And it really had to be those with the most tragic past.

First Trevor.

And now Blue.

"Samuel. This isn't your fault. All of this will end up happening if it's really meant to no matter how much you try to prevent it!" Trevor said to him upon reading his mind troubles.

"You've done so much for us. But nobody. Even the most powerful being. Can go against fate." He added and Samuel only nodded in response.

He was glad that Trevor understand him aside from the point he was trying to make.

The screams from the basement eventually stopped. The two decided to check on Blue and finally entered the basement together.

They found Blue flopped on the floor not far from a pentagram. He was hugging himself into a ball while silently sobbing to himself.

Trevor's heart ached more nownthat he could clearly hear what's been lingering in Blue's mind.

He was completely tearing apart.

"Blue..." he called and immediately went to sit beside the boy.

The angel was quick to sit up and took a safety distance away from Trevor. Dragging the chains with him as he crawl back.

"W-what are y-you doing h-here?" He asked in between his uncontrolled sobs.

"We're here to help you. You're not alone Blue. We're here! Iam here!" Trevor said to him hoping that Blue would atleast spare him a glance.

He just kept crying and looking away from Trevor.

"I-I know... It's hard to keep o-our promise... especially on our lowest point... But if I can do it so can you!" Trevor said again with lace of desperation and finally Blue looked at him.

"I'm not like you Trevor... I'm tired trying... Because the last time I did... This happened... I thought I was doing a good job... But I'm not." Blue's voice cracked at the last part and he broke out into another dam of tears.

"Blue you can't give up now. You've got this far. You can still do it." Samuel decided to speak but the younger started shaking his head.

"No. All of this is a mistake. And I'm sorry that you had to go through troubles by trying to help me when I can't even help myself! You should've just let me die in the first place." He cried before digging his face back to his knees.

Trevor turned to Samuel. Sending a telepathic message in his mind.

You must tell him. He doesn't know what happens if ever he dies...

He said and Samuel only got more tensed.

He wasn't planning to tell Blue about it because it might make him feel more worse thinking that he was palnning to kill all the vampires with him.

And that would include Rhian.

Samuel took a deep sigh. He walked towards the two and crouched beside Trevorm looking at him briefly before turning his full attention to the angel of death.

"You can't die Blue. Not only because of you're important purpose. But also because of the consequences of your suicide death." Samuel spoke and Blue immediately turned to him with halted cries.

"If you kill yourself..."

"You are also killing the entire race of vampires...."
