CHAPTER 15

Kai gave Joe the signal to throw his ball.

A blue glow could now be seen on Joe's two hands and slowly gloves got formed on his hands. He clicked a button by the side of both index fingers.

Again was the blue glow but this time it was all the way from his shoulders down to his fingers. As the glow faded, the once normal glove had now covered Joe's two arms.

Joe picked up the ball in one of his hands and threw it but to the surprise of every one, it just landed two feet away from Joe.

"What happened?" Joe said to himself. "I'm sure I set it to muscle enhancers, but why this result?"

Kai walked over to Joe with what looked like a red energy ball floating on his hands. "You were only supposed to use your abilities, no tech or weapons but it seems that you were using a weapon" Kai said. "No sir, I did use my ability" Joe answered

"hey kid, my ability helps me control and copy any kind of tech so if I can control those gloves of yours, then they are tech" "yes sir that's true but this is because I have a technorve ability and with the help of the ability and some beast cores, I created these gloves" "oh I see that I was wrong so you can have a second chance" Kai said as he deactivated the ability and walked back to where he was standing before.

Joe went to his position and picked up the ball in his right hand. Using the additional strength of the gloves and all the strength in his body, he threw the ball. The ball went very far even exceeding his expectation.

Seeing his score, Kai became very surprised. It beat Martin and Stacy's score by a landslide. Even with glove, he shouldn't be able to throw that far. "Just what are you boy? I'm going to be keeping an eye on you" Kai thought
