NEW TEAM

Shaking his head, Hyla drops the ball in his hand. He turned heading for the gym where the others had stayed with a towel in his hand as he wiped the sweat off his face.

"Come on!"

"You can do this"

Numerous chants were being screamed while Jeffrey tried to move, with his face covered in beads of sweat.

"I give up!" screamed Jeff completely exhausted as he landed on his butt heavily.

"I thought you said you could out do us" taunted Enri with a huge smile on his face.

"Yeah, tell me about it" said Grey. "I'll take Hyla's test, I figure it's the easier test" said Grey as he imitated Jeff when he chose my test.

"Look, it's a good thing you're back now Hyla" said Enri as he pulled me towards Jeff who sat on the floor with no energy left to spare.

Laughing all the way, Enri even punched Grey and this was definitely not normal because Enri does his best to avoid engaging in any sort of playful fight with Grey because they both get out of hand at times but now he even threw a punch.

"How happy is this guy?" I wondered as I watched Enri. "How did he do?" I asked Grey who was able to control himself a little.

"Him?" asked Grey as I he didn't know who I was talking about, "Oh… he did not even finish half of the squats before ending up in that miserable state" said Grey before bursting out in another fit of uncontrollable laughter.

The girls on the swim team were also having fun watching Grey and Enri, even though they felt sorry for Jeffrey they could not also help but laugh as well because Grey and Enri were just too crazy.

As of now, they had begun to laugh while hugging each other like fools without an ounce of shame. I even felt like laughing too but I had to remain sane while these two fools went crazy.

"Need a hand?" I asked Jeff who had given up on getting help from Grey or Enri.

"Thanks" he said.

"Don't mind them, they have not had a good laugh in a while that's why" I tried to explain as I grabbed his hand pulling him up.

"I never thought those two would behave in such a uncultured manner" said Jeffrey as he managed to rise to his feet before whispering, "Please get me out of here, I don't want these ladies to remember me this way".

"You got it" I replied as I supported him before helping him out of the room.

…

"You guys finally had enough?" I asked as I entered the gym seeing Grey and Enri working out.

"What don't give us that look" said Grey as he looked at me.

"What Face?" I asked quizzically.

"You know, that face, you have like you are angry, trying to scare us and still laughing at the same time" said Enri, as Grey mimicked me.

"You guys are stupid" I said as I laughed.

"We all are" said Grey emotionally, if someone was to look at Grey right now they would think he was a father giving a compliment to his son but instead of a compliment it would be an insult. "How's he doing?" he suddenly asked.

"He won't be able to move for a while but tomorrows going to be worse" I said as I remembered when we all went through the same thing.

"We'll let him rest, how about warming up" asked Grey.

"Nah… I think I'll skip just for today" I said as I turned to watch the female swim team exercise with a smile on my face.

"Pervert!" said Enri laughing.

Ignoring him I just kicked back and enjoyed the show while Grey and Enri continued exercising. The girls were busy having discussions about Jeffrey while they exercised from time to time a giggle could be heard. While I on the other hand would occasionally engage in a little bit of exercise from time to time not as serious as any other person in the Gym.

"Grey" called out Jeffrey who was walking with a pair of crutches because he could not possibly stand on his own.

"Hey everybody, look at our resident new guy" screamed Grey in response before laughing.

Jeffrey on the other hand bent his head down to look at the floor embarrassed after remembering what just happened.

"You don't have to be an ass about it" he replied as he found somewhere to sit.

"You don't have the right to say anything because you brought this upon yourself" said Enri who looked very eager to torture the guy.

"I…"

"You suck man but the ladies here don't care about that" said Grey as he winked at him. In a split second the both of them had this weird and creepy smile plastered on their face.

"Those two are definitely up to no good" said Enri as he looked at them before shaking his head.

Chuckling, I went back to watching the ladies practice while contemplating about the previous problem. The girls had gone to introduce themselves to Jeffrey after they finished their workout, which caused Jeffrey to smile like a fool, in a couple of moments the situation became so normal that nobody would believe Jeffrey just joined the Gym.

Coach Michael who had disappeared right after Jeffrey's test was back again towards the end of the day.

"Alright, Jeff my boy it looks like you have a lot of things you need to work on" said Coach Michael as he brought out a file which I presumed he made based on his performance. "You can have the next couple of days off to recuperate" he said.

"Thank you" replied Jeff.

"Alright I'll drop you guys off at the dorms since he can't move" said Coach Michael, "Let's get a move on"

"Sure" we said as we hurriedly gathered our belongings in the locker.

We were out of the building in minutes and on our way to the dorm before we knew it. It had been quite an eventful day.

"Thanks Coach" screamed the boys as Coach Michael drove away.

"Let's get him to his dorm, before heading to ours" suggested Enri.

"Sounds good" said Grey and Hyla as they shrugged their shoulders.

The three of them helped him to his room, which caused quite the scene when they reached the building because Jeffrey was pretty popular in his building. All the guys in the building kept asking us questions to find out what happened to him.

"What the hell happened to you?" asked Leonard his roommate the moment we opened door and walked inside.

"Can you guys not ask?" questioned Jeff who was starting to get angry because everybody had suddenly become a busy body who wanted to know everything.

"Uhm… Nope" replied Shedrach his other roommate who jumped off his bunk.

"Fine I'll tell you guys about it later" said Jeffrey annoyed.

"Looks like you'll be alright" I said seeing their little show.

"Ok, Jeff we're leaving" said Grey ass he passed them his bag.

We left the building as we idly chatted.

"What a crazy day" said Enri as we entered the room.

"Dude, it's been a while since we last saw Khalil" I said as I saw his bed still empty once more.

"Yeah, I really don't know what goes on with him" replied Enri as he took a seat.

During their stay everybody had tried to be friends with Khalil but whenever he came he left just as quickly as he came but he had not been back in a long time which was new.

"Don't stress, he'll be back he always comes back" said Grey.

"Guys, I thought about it a lot and I decided that will be joining Coach to attend the 'AGC', so I'll be busy" I hurriedly said in a low voice but it was just us in the room so it was definitely impossible for them not to hear it.

"Are you sur Cousin?" asked Grey.

"You know it will be more taxing" said Enri.

"Yes, I know but I just want to try it out" I said as I smiled.

"If you want to do, go ahead all the way but I want to let you know that I've got your back" said Grey.

"I know" I said.

"I mean I've got your back" said Grey.

"Thanks Fam" I replied.

"Well, what the hell am I supposed to do now that the both of you decided to do this?" asked Enri annoyed.

Laughing Grey and I did not reply to his question.

"That's so unfair" said Enri.

"Then join us" I offered.

"Fine, I'm in" said Enri.

"Now let's go to bed" said Grey.

"Alright but we all still need to take a shower because we stink" I said as I made my way to the bathroom=

"Hey, I just chose to ball with you so you are not allowed to give me orders" screamed Grey in protest as he shook his fists in the air like an angry cartoon character.

"ok, just so you know Grey, you stink" I said, causing Enri to laugh.

"You guys should not start right now, I'm already tired." Said Enri as he sat down at his desk.
