Chapter 28

I stare at Jake as he drives us home from school.

What transpired in school, still fresh in my memory, 

*flashback*

There I was walking out of my last period class The hallway was unusually scanty when suddenly Bethany blocked my way, I turned back but two guys were at my back, my first instinct was to run but I already knew they would catch up with me,

"What do you want", I said, 

"To teach you a lesson", she pointed at the guys, the two of them pinned me to the wall, I attempted to wriggle out of their grip but it was of no use.

"What type of lesson, if anything you were the one who dumped your tray on me, but you don't see me bringing two guys to teach you a lesson", 

She ignored my speech and looked at me from head to toe, she shook her head in disapproval.

" I can't believe this is what he chose over me", she muttered,
