Maria said, "I understand, but it's very urgent. Could you please do me a favor and allow me just two minutes with Saim? I promise it won't take long."
Receptionist: "I'm sorry, ma'am, but it's not possible. Please try to understand."
Maria begged her, but the receptionist didn't grant her request, Maria then asked when Saim would be free.
Receptionist: "I think it will be another two hours. It's 10:30 p.m. now, so he should be free around 12:30 a.m."
Maria replied, "That will be too late; my baby is at home. I've asked my neighbor, Neelofer, to look after him. I have to get back home early! I've tried calling Saim, but he's not answering," she added.
Receptionist: "I'm sorry, ma'am, but there's nothing I can do."
Maria, thinking, asked the receptionist, "Can you do just one thing for me?"
Receptionist: "What is it?"
Maria handed over her personal card and said, "Could you please give this card to Saim?"
