20 Chapter 20: Loss, Memory and Plan

Kim Young has succeeded in killing Mrs Kim Namjung, Namjoon's mother.

Namjoon was vivid by his memory. Nonetheless, he has strong bond with his mother. Her death made him went crazy. He hardly went to work at Kim Group Company again. So it fell completely into the control of Kim Young. Yet, that did not still make him the actual owner of the company. He needed to get rid of all the individuals who were on his way. That's right! He needed to get rid of Kim Namjoon.

One windy night when there were also rain and thunder, Kim Young found Namjoon sleeping on the green decorated sofa in his own room. The door of the room was locked. Well, this stupid nephew didn't much care about locking at all. And Kim Young was allowed to visit and come into Kim Namjung's house as much as he would like.

Kim Young went into the room and looked at his nephew sleeping idiotly like someone who was addicted to strong drugs. This so called high IQ guy was after all only an idiot. And yet..he was so into green these days... his sofa was green and he was wearing green rope pyjamas. Kim Young thought even if he die now no one would care. Even his beloved sister, Kim So Hyun ran away from him. Kim Young took out a long knife that had taken with him from his bag and was ready to cut Namjoon into pieces ....but Namjoon was quicker than him. He immediately took out his gun from the sofa pillow and shot Kim Young non stop. The banging sound of the gun was widely spread in the household and surrounding. Kim Young was dead.

Kim Young suddenly woke up. He just realised that he has been dreaming and still lying on the sofa at the Kim Group Company party. The party is still going on among the employees but Kim Namjoon , So Hyun, Jisoo, Minho and all their friends...are all gone.

They are all at the hospital. One thing true about Kim Young's dream is that Mrs Kim willing be passing from this world soon.

Namjoon and So Hyun are beside their mother's bed. But Mrs Kim has also called Jisoo and Minho. She does open her eyes for last time. She can only send her look and smile to everyone because she is very weak to speak. She doesn't seem very sad that she is going die though. She tries to touch her son hand and murmurs something. ..Namjoon could understand it...."...at the desk!"....Mrs Kim dies peacefully that night.

But those who are left are not at peace. So Hyun cries non stop and Namjoon is very restless.

He is walking back and forth most of the time while the others all sitting on a long bench of the hospital until Jisoo makes him calm.

Jisoo and others want to comfort them. But they finally decide that the two siblings need their time. But Jisoo try to take Namjoon's  hand as a sign of comfort. Namjoon takes her comfort and lies and rest his head on Jisoo's  shoulder.

Minho is also very sad. Rosé somehow feel uncomfortable Minho is in so much depression. Although he is not crying at all, his eyes are showing how sad they are. Just like Jisoo, Rosé tries to comfort Minho. The result is quite every effective just as Namsoo.

So Hyun's eyes are still flooding with tears. But Suho comes to her and give her a handkerchief. She accepts it. Suho starts to say,

"Im so sorry. I fail so many times!"

She wipes her tear with the handkerchief, and says,

"It's not your fault, Mister!! It's just that sometimes in our lives, it just does go as we have plan or wish to....before this case you have already succeeded in many other issues"

Then she takes his hand says, "Fighting !!" cheerfully.

But that actually makes Suho even feel worse. He should be the one comforting Miss Kim. But here she is cheering him up. He stand up from his seat to kneel in front of her...

"I promise I will not fail you again, Miss...I will catch those who are behind all these!"

So Hyun is a little surprised at his kneeling in front of her...but a little later smiles a little. Suho is satisfied by that.

Namjoon and So Hyun makes a small private funeral with only a few relatives and friends....but they still follow every tradition. It lasts for three days. They also do the same for the grandfather at the same time too.

All six of Namjoon's best friends come. Although, the doctor Taehyung  is late until Kim Young and wife are gone on the third day of the ceremony. Yep, he is avoiding them.

Suho also come. He notices someone within those six friends of Namjoon. He has seen one of them before while he was working at Aru Jung's casino. Jung Hoseok, the distant relative of the gun man Aru Jung is here.!!

The funeral for both Mrs Kim and her father finish well. For last several days, everyone was so tired. For relatives the sadness is there.

Before, Namjoon goes from the Temple (for funeral), Taehyung makes sign that he wants to speak to him in private. But it happens that Jisoo also notice the sign.

Namjoon and Taehyung goes to a very quiet and seemingly a private place within the temple. It is an old abandoned building which is half left to build. But it does have roof and almost a building.

Jisoo follows them in secret. She does not know why she is doing this but whatever Namjoon is up to is an interest to her.

When finally, the two guys think they are alone, their conversation starts.

Taehyung: "Hyung, you remember everything now right?"

Namjoon: "You are right. I remember everything long time ago. But be careful, doctor. It will not be very good if my uncle know you are friend..."

Taehyung nods...

It happens that one of the doctors that treated Namjoon was Taehyung, his own friend. There were two main doctors there. They were both threatened and made into erasing all Namjoon's memories.

But Taehyung did not want that happen. So he persuaded the other not to and succeeded. Namjoon figured out everything soon and promise to play as if he has lost all his memories. At that he did really lost some of the memories because of the gun shot wound which also affected the brain. But he did gain them all back in short time but still pretend he did not.

Taehyung: "So what are you planning to do next?"

Namjoon is going to say something but then he notices someone who's behind a little corner of the building they are in...so he says..

"I will need to think about it...well its late now, Tae. Let's go home"

Soon, the two guys are out of sight.

Jisoo then decides to go back to the ceremony place too. But as she turn around.

She is so shocked to see Namjoon looking at her from her behind. And he looks very serious. So serious that scare her. And just then she gets a phone ring from Mr Kim Young.

"Pick it up!", Namjoon says.

Jisoo picks up the phone.

The voice is saying,

"Well, my little miss. You have been doing the job well. But I think its just the time that we start our plan properly....how about seeing you next evening"

Then the call ends.

Jisoo is looking at the Namjoon. "You don't think Im going  against you, do you..Im just doing it. ...because. ..because. .I want to protect those who I love..."

Her tears are falling down.

Before, she could ends her talk..Namjoon hugs her in arms and close his eyes.

He still believes in her somehow. But he also has several plans too.
