Amberley could not break her eyes away from Ryan the moments he stepped in and stand on the stairs..

She noticed that everywhere turn silence the moments he entered.. All the women that was excited to meet him earlier, cannot dare look up at him..

That makes her feel curious, what is happening to all of them..

Why do they look like they are scared of him, even his brother, he dare not look up at his own brother..

Amber looked at him with curiosity, just then his eyes landed on her, just then everything stop..

They eyes locked as Ryan looked at her with some things like surprise in his eyes, and Amberley eyes was full with curiosity...

Amber saw Ryan expression then turned to frown, and something like confused, but Just in blinked he face turns back to normal..

Then he started to come towards her..

'He's coming..'

He then stopped right in front of her with is golden eyes on her..

"Everyone can leave now.." Ryan said.

All they girls with fasting heartbeat found themselves running out of the mansion..

"Name..." Ryan said..

"Huh?.." Amberley found herself been brought out of her daze with Ryan words..

"Your name..?" Ryan asked.. There's something weird and strange about this girl that was standing in front of him..

He's not feeling her heartbeat.. It was like she have none. But how is that possible.. And moreover.. She did not look scared of him.

In fact, she was not scared of him..

"Amber... Amberley.." She said, with her eyes still on him..

"Mmmm.. I choose you... To be my bride.." he said...and got Amberley eyes widened..

She had already guessed it though, when he sent all the girls away..

But it feels so surreal.

Like, it felt so surreal..

She was chosen just like that?

Amber found herself smile happy..

" Nice meeting you Mr Ryan.." she greeted him.. Just then she saw two old couples come closer to them, and Ryan younger brother..

He look angry for some reason..

"What a beauty you choose.." Lora said as she hold Amberley's hand..

"What your name, my dear?" Lora asked with happy smiles.. For some reason she did not know, she did not feel scared of Ryan while facing Amberley..

"Amberley.. Amberley Jones." Amberley said..

"Am Lora, your soon to be mother in law, and this is my husband Jude.. And my younger son Ray.. Welcome to our family Amberley.." Lora said..

"Thank you.."

Ryan attention was all on Amberley, everything that is happening right now does not makes any sense..

He noticed his parents crazy heartbeat is now beating normally.. And still he did not heard Amberley heartbeat.. He followed them when his mother take Amberley out of the ball room and head to the sitting room..

He sit alone on a sofa and keep staring at Amberley..

"You seem to have captured my cold son heart, he can't keep his eyes off you.." Jude said.. With smile.

Amber steal a glance of Ryan and their eyes locked, Ryan had no expression on his face, in fact he was looking at her like he was studying something that seemed puzzled..

" I guess we have to hurry everything, I would like you two to get marry in three days, will your parents be OK with that?" Lora asked and got Amberley attention..

"Sure ma...anytime is OK for us.." Amberley said.. She had no time to waste.. The sooner the better..

"Come with me.." Ryan suddenly said in cold voice.. As he get up from his sit, and head upstairs.. Amberley looked at Lora and slowly stand up to follow Ryan..

"She doesn't seem scared of him..?" Ray said..

"Non did Ryan feel scary just now.." Jude said..

"I just hope he did not scared her away.." Lora said with worried..

Ryan entered his room, the room he never slept in.. He sit on the couch and look at the girl who enter the room with without fear in her eyes, in fact he could only see see nervous in her eyes..

She looked nervous.. But still he could not hear her heartbeat..

Ryan is a being who could understand a human feelings from their heartbeat.. That's how he knew when everyone is scared of him..

He could also hear human minds when he entered their head..

But he did not do that because he found no reason to do so.. Humans thought is none of his business..

But for a very long time, he entered a human head.. But he heard nothing.. He could not heard her heartbeat and none can he heard her thought.. He could not heard what she was thinking right now..

This got his expressionless face got a little frown..

Amberley stand in front Ryan, she could heard her own crazy heartbeat.. She was very nervous, she kept tugging her own fingers..

She kept standing there and she kept felting his eyes on her.. She slowly looked up and meet his gaze, she see confused on his eyes..

"Who are you?" he had him asked.. Even Ryan knew he's asking stupid questions right now..

He could feel no strange energy on her, she felt like a pure human.. No any magic or black magic on her..

She felt pure.. Even more pure than humans..

"Amberley.." Amberley said with confused frown.. She told him who she is earlier, why is he asking who she is again..

Ryan take Amberley to his room to be alone with her, maybe with them alone in a room, she will be scared of him..

But still she's not looking scared at all.. Not a bit.. But she was looking just confused..

"Forget it... Look here... I don't choose you because I like you, or interested in you.." Ryan said.. And Amberley only look at him with frown..

If he's not interested in her at all, why did he choose her, didn't her look got his attention?

"Then I did you choose me..?" she did not really want to asked.. But she found herself asking..

Ryan looked up at the girl who just questioned him, he could hardly remember since when a woman looked into his eyes and asked him questions, not even his human mother..

He smirked, seem like this will really be interesting..

"You got my curiosity.. And moreover, I don't do love.. I can't fall in love... No with anyone.." Ryan said with a smile that doesn't reach eyes..

Amber frowned, is there ever someone who can be sure that he can never fall in love, definitely no.. And how can he he so sure..

" But I want to live in your heart.. " she said, just the her eyes widened, did she just say that out?

"In my heart.... Heart is only for those who have it.. So are still going to marry this man who will never love you?" Ryan said, with his funny smile still on his face..

"Will you promise to treat me well?" Amberley asked..

Ryan smirk.. Another question..

"I will try.. But I can't promise..." Ryan said..

"It better to try then never... So I will marry you.. I want to marry you.." Amberley said... With determination in her eyes..

Ryan looked at the girl in front of him, she looked determined..

"Getting married to me might the most horrible thing who would want to run away for.. Getting married to me is you inviting yourself to hell.." Ryan said..

"You've already chose me, why are you acting like you want to chase me away.." Amberley said.

"Maybe I just regret choosing you.. But at the same time, you are interesting to be interact with... Little mice... Will you marry a man who wants you just for entertainment?" Ryan said...

Ryan did not understand why he's even acting like this after he had already chosen her.. But there's one thing he can't just accept her...

Amberly felt pure... Too pure for him to taint..

But the girl seems very determined to marry him..

"I don't care... As long as you treat me as a wife... Make my family yours.."

Ryan smirked, then stand from his sit... He moved close to her, but Amberley did not budge...

Ryan placed his hand on her neck and use her neck to draw her close to him..

"of course, I will.. And remember I have all right on you as your lawful wedded husband.. So let get marry AMBERLEY.." Ryan said as his mouth almost touched Amberley mouth..
