Principal Fernsby informed beside me as I let my gaze wander over the dorm room I was to move into that same Tuesday.

Mom and I had been here before. Well, not in this exact room, but we'd been shown a standard dorm room when we came to check the school out for the first time.

Not much was different between this room and the one we were shown, but this was a bit bigger and more furnished.

Two normal sized beds stood on either ends of the room, and I figured I would be having a roommate. Beside each bed, stood a vanity table and mirror. The windows were adorned with plain white chiffon curtains that fluttered about dreamily in the afternoon breeze.
