The mission was a failure. As 178 found himself bleeding out next to his would-be target, he'd resigned himself to this fate. Twenty years of death and violence in order to survive was enough. With a promise held close to his chest, he closes his eyes for what he thinks is the last time. Why was it, then, that he woke up back before he'd ever been forced to kill? Before he'd even been forced to wield a weapon in the first place? Though confused, 178, now Nix, works to escape his fate and attempts to forge a new path. The skills and talents he developed in his last life are hard to shake off, however, and earn him the unexpected attention of powerful figures.
