GREEN EYED MONSTER

Drew blocked Amanda's view. He don't want her to know that Selena and Rice disappeared in a matter of seconds in front of their eyes. He also send a message to Dusk. He wants him to take Amanda out of the pack house. Dusk who was following his Beta quickly helped Amanda and tried to drag her out of the pack house.

"Let me go.... I want to talk to Luke". She forcefully tried to free herself from Dusk's grip.

"You can talk to him later this is not the right place". Dusk said to her while still dragging her out but Amanda is fighting back.

Luke is getting restless. Selena just disappeared and he can't sense her. He is getting mad. "Get out!". His voice is in it's dominant mode. The pressure he released can make anything fall to the ground. Even his Beta was shaken by the pressure. Drew knows Luke will go on a rampage any minute now if he didn't see his Luna, fast.

Amanda was taken aback too. She have never seen Luke in such rage. The aura he's emitting feels very dangerous. She knows this kind of dangerous pressure and aura can be sense to the whole Village. Luke is a very powerful Alpha and it's not wise to anger him. Amanda's body was shaking out of fear. She can't take this kind of pressure she run outside the pack house by herself.

"Find her!".

Luke's words was like a thunder that filled the whole Village. Everyone got startled. They've never seen their Alpha with this much rage. Even in a battle with rouges and other beasts he never exert to much force but they can simply win the battle. They know how powerful their Alpha is, but he is also a gentle soul when it comes to his people. They wondered who pissed him off and who he wants to find.

Selena end up in Avery's green house with Rice on her arms also with the plates of white spaghetti. She bit her lips. She run away with a child. It will going to look like a kidnapping scene if she keeps her. She decided to finish the food she cooked before sending her home.

"Wow!.... This is a beautiful place!". Rice's eyes grew even wider. She remembered crying with her Luna in the pack house and now she feels like she's in a dreamland. "Luna do you do magic". She asked her innocently.

"No, actually we are in the former Luna's garden. So keep it quiet". She even put her index finger in her lips and she saw the 'O' word formed in the little girl's mouth. She handed back her plate and Rice start to dig in again. She just followed her lead.

Stronghold Village is almost in chaos they can't seem to find Selena anywhere even her scent fades in the air.

"I also send some people outside to look for her". Drew informed him. "Rice is also with her".

Hearing that a small pup is with his Mate. He is now sure that she's still inside the Village. "Call off your search party outside. She's still here, somewhere". He believes that she won't just abandon a small innocent girl because she is angry at him. The word angry breaks his heart.

"I hate to ask but what about Amanda?.... She threatened Selena". Drew still got angry by the scene earlier. Amanda is too greedy. She didn't care about the life of anyone in front of her specially a child. If she shift and goes on rampage she might kill that odd child along with the future Luna.

"We can't do anything much about it. Even our law can't punish her ill behavior towards my mate. Selena haven't marked me yet the process is not complete, she can't be considered a Luna yet. She's still a human under my care but not a part of our Pack. We need to wait for four more days". Though it's painful to hear they need to wait until she turned. Four more days and it feels like a decade to him.

Drew was saddened by what Luke said. It's a rule they need to follow. Selena needs to mark their Alpha to make her claim and only by then she can be considered a Luna. "Rice's mother is looking for her now". A message was sent to him.

"Tell her she's with Selena and they are just eating a snack together". He is getting worried but he is still trusting his guts. His Mate is a good person she won't put a child in any danger.

Rice is playing inside Avery's green house. She was fascinated with all the colorful flowers and butterflies while Selena is happily watching her.

"Will I also bear a child this cute someday?". She asked herself. But remembering what Amanda told her she got mad again. "Maybe not.... Ugh, I hate that man.... Why can't he keep his pants on!".

"Luna are you still angry?".

Selena snap back. She's looking at Rice's angelic face it made her sigh. "Rice can you please don't call me Luna?.... Selena sounds better right?". She tried to coax her.

"Okay Luna, I will call you Selena". And she giggles.

"Thank you!". She patted her head the way her mother patted hers when she was a child.

Luke's office.

"Anyone seen her?". Luke is getting impatient and the people around him is getting worried. If they can't find Selena their Alpha might go into rampage.

"None!". Beta Drew is getting worried too. He knows Luke is trying hard to control himself and his wolf.

Avery is also asking for Selena's whereabouts but there's nothing they can say. She got angry and blame his son for being irresponsible. Luke didn't say a thing. He just accepted it. He didn't know that his foolishness before would result to his Mate's heart aches.

It's almost dark when Selena decided to bring Rice home. At first the child don't want to leave her side and the green house but she persuaded her by promising to cook and play with her again someday. And as a child she was easily been coaxed.

The intense feeling of not to be seen by anyone puts a barrier on her surroundings like a fog of mist around her. She can see people running around looking for something but they don't seem to notice her and the little girl she's holding. She asked Rice where she live and the little girl showed her. She raised her hand to knock on the door when someone grabbed her from behind. Her defensive instinct kicks in.

She let go of Rice's hand and kicked the wall. She let her abductor lift her so she can have an opening to throw both of their bodies on the ground. But the man holding her is very strong only a couple of step back away from Rice was made. The man almost got out of balance and his grip loosen a bit. Selena slide down from his arms and gave him a deadly roundhouse kick but he is quick and caught her leg but that move didn't stopped her she uses her other leg and kick his face using his own force to lift her. She dropped to the ground and in the corner of her eyes she saw the man almost fall down. She quickly got up and attack him again she will use a knee strike under his chin. She jumped and tried to use the man's shoulder to her advantage but to her surprise the man growled so loud and catch her.

"Can you please stop now!". Luke's big voice echoed in the night.

Selena was dumbfounded. She froze and stared at him. Her tears began to fall. "Luke?". She put her arms around his nape and started crying like a child. "I hate you, I hate you.... I hate you so much!". She said in between her loud cries.

"I know baby and I am so sorry!". He tried to console her by taking all the blame and patting her back. He fixed her position and let her legs cling to his waist.

A lot of people are simply watching the couple. At first they were mesmerized by Selena's ability to fight. She can really give a heavy blow even the Alpha himself almost fall on his knees. And now they were astound, a great fighter becomes a weak little lover on her Mate's arms. She even cried like Rice.

"Why didn't you keep your pants up and wait for me?..... I hate you and your ex!". She keeps on whining while crying.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know when will you're going to arrive. I thought I was mate less. I was so lonely back then". Luke tried so hard to explain himself.

"Your a liar... How many did you BANG when I wasn't around?".

Luke didn't answer.

"Waahhhh!". Selena cried so loud she doesn't care who hears her.

"Wait don't cry, I'm still counting!". Luke teased her more. He loves when his mate cries like a child. Although her tears breaks his heart he can't stop himself teasing her.

Selena cried louder this time. The people around them tilted their head on the side trying to suppress their laughter. She do look like Rice when she cried, like a typical child.

"Okay, okay stop crying I already lose count". He was grinning from ear to ear. "I promise I won't bang any other woman until I die. I will only bang you until my friend down there dried up". He said mockingly.

Selena toned down her voice then sob. "You promised?". As she wiped her own tears by the back of her hand.

Some 'Pufft' sound rise from the crowd. They were so fond of Selena. She's probably strong but her innocence amazed them.

Luke squinted his eyes. He don't want Selena's attention to be caught by them or she might be embarrassed. Through mind link he told them to scram.

"My love can we go home now?". Luke asked her gently and with full of passion.

Selena nod. "Can I just say goodbye to Rice?".

"Of course baby you can do that". And he let her go down.

The door of Rice's house is already closed. They probably scared them with her whining. She thought. She was about to knocked when it suddenly opened.

"Selena are you okay now. Did the big bad man hurt you?". Rice asked her as soon as she opened the door.

"Yes I am fine and no the big bad man didn't hurt me at all". She said calmly to her.

"Did the handsome Alpha chased the bad bully away?". She asked again with innocence.

"Yes I did chased the bad bully away". Luke said while smiling at Rice.

Rice was shocked and an 'O' word formed on her little mouth. "Mommy, Mommy the handsome Alpha is here!". She screamed inside their house.

Selena looked at Luke who was grinning and deep lines formed on her forehead. "I hate that you're extremely gorgeous!". Her eyes rolled followed by a 'hmp!'.

Luke shook his head. His mate seems to petted a green eyed monster on her shoulder. She's even jealous with a five-year old girl. He chuckled.
