Each country around the world took pride in their military strength, They had the strength to fight against other countries

However

They never took account of other beings existing with power much superior than humans.

Year 3023 , the year when humanity faced their greatest loss , the entire existence of humanity was on the verge of extinction because of the outers who invaded earth, For them the earth was just a plaything.

They looked down on humanity to the point where they thought that if we let them rebuild their planet , then destroying them again would feel amazing

Since the invade incident, humans have started awakening

Supernatural powers , they are usually Called awakeners

The reason for the awakening is still unknown but several people have gained strength that can rival countries alone

*Somewhere in a big association building

'Sir Ray, May i know what's your power ranking among all the awakened ?' asked Bockus

"Ehh, it's like D class overall , but why are you so curious?"

Sir, I'm your newly assigned personal assistant, i have a bit of curiousity on who I'm assisting.

" You are the fifth one assigned to me this month you know? "

"Sir, please stop joking , please tell me your real ranking! "

*Shows bockus the offical awakeners licence

"SIR, HOW ARE YOU THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE STRONGEST AWAKENERS GUILD IN THE COUNTRY?!!"

Bockus , A man with immense patience had hit his limits.

"Hey new guy, can you go and close the doors real quick" asked Ray

*Bockus proceeds to close the door and reports back to Ray

"Alright new guy , what's your biggest fear " asked Ray

'Sir, i hate to say this but I'm scared of women'

"....uh..hey new guy, i was about to show u my power and put a greater fear inside you to show my skills but it seems like you are already in a lot of pain "

"I appreciate your kindness sir....." Said Bockus with disappointment

"Sir, it's time for u to recruit the new members for the association " said Bockus

"Yea..that, I'll be there , you go and wait for me "

People have gathered in the selection area to showcase their skills so that they would be taken in by the association , It is said that ,people who work for the association are paid very well and can enjoy many benifits so it is preferred by almost all the awakeners.

*Ray arrives in the gathering place with a mic in hand

'heyyy..it's the rumoured awakener who rose to the position of vice president suddenly after the big fight

' i even heard he is a S class awakener '

'do you know he uses a machete and wears flashy clothes in battle'

"Ahem....I welcome everyone who came to apply today , in this batch of 2000 people i will be selecting awakeners personally if they interest me " said Ray loudly

"The task is simple, all you have to do is make me laugh "

Said Ray with a serious look

Several people then started to do weird things to make Ray laugh but nothing was seem to be working , as few hours passed, everyone started to realise how useless it was , no matter how skilled they are, their skills won't get them selected so they slowly started to leave, numbers were gradually decreasing

4 hours later

Only one person remained in the room

"Why are you still here " asked Ray

"You are strong, aren't you? The other person asked

"You want proof? Said Ray

"Can you protect my family" the other person asked

"Protect from whom? Asked Ray

"The outers"

*Ray makes a shocked face for a moment and starts laughing loudly and says

"Tell me where"

Ray and Bockus then were on their way to the place mentioned by the guy from selections, on the way Bockus asked

"Sir, how do you know he's not lying"

"That man has the eyes of someone who has lost his will to live, a dying man won't lie anyways "

".....i see " said Bockus

They arrived at the destination, it was a abandoned factory warehouse , Ray asked Bockus to stand outside and not let anyone inside no matter what , Ray grabs his machete and heads inside the warehouse

Inside there were several hundred humans who were led by a single low tier outer, outers are usually other worldly beings with supernatural powers , Humans usually calssify them as follows with their rankings from strongest to weakest

*The Outer completely understood that he was mocked and orders the people around him to attack Ray

"Before you all get slaughtered, let me ask you all One thing

"WHAT'S YOUR GREATEST FEAR" Asked Ray while laughing like a maniac

*The whole room was suddenly filled with bloodlust , Everyone there fell under pressure , Everyone wanted to move as soon as possible and stop him , But their bodies wouldn't move , their instincts were telling them that if they approached that monster , their existence would be erased without a doubt , even Bockus outside felt chills down his spine!!

"If you all won't come , then i will "

As Ray started slashing everything around him with no mercy , The bloodbath was terrifying, as soon as he was done with half of them, every other human left their fainted with fear , only outer was left with some senses ,

At that point the outer could only think

"A monster like this shouldn't exist, i must let others know about this!!"

"Hey ugly thing, the price to use this power isn't cheap you know? Said Ray

"But since you are Here , I don't have to worry about that I guess " said Ray with a innocent smile

Ray grabbed the outers body and covered the machete with the outers blood , Ray then headed outside and said

"Hey new guy, let that guy from selections know, he is hired" said Ray with a smile

"I will make sure to do that Sir"

Ray then headed back to the car , But Bockus, a curious man Wanted to take a look inside the warehouse, and he did, as he gazed his eyes inside the warehouse, the sight he saw made him question just one thing

"What..is Sir Ray?"
