The Blood Born

A calm morning ruined by the herd like stomping of villagers and visitors of many different kinds to this peaceful town of blood mages. In particular one very evil thug lays in wake of his moment to capture a once in a lifetime power. A baby cries out as the thug looks to see a group of strong guards backing people away from a tent that glows red. The thug pulls out his specs and looks further and sees the child for a mere second and grins with intense excitement. The noise grows as does the brightness until the glow of red turns to a call yellow and some people begin to feint. The guards blocking the tent drop to the ground while the thug managed to avoid the light with his specs. He gets pissed that they broke and throws them at the incapacitated guard. The thug steps carefully around them to peek at the baby. He sees the baby now asleep next to two dead parents that seem to have given the baby their life so it could live. The thug takes the kid and starts to run back to his guild with haste.

The door slams a tired and dirty man steps through and yells for the warden. A seven foot tall man in all black leather armor steps out to the balcony above him. (Warden): " What is it can't you tell we have a blood born to get so I don't want to hear it". The rags slip off the thugs hands and the child is exposed it awakes and starts crying. (Warden) "Shut that thing up". The baby starts absorbing the thugs life force away from him and he passes out dropping the baby on the ground. (Warden) " Well i guess we got the blood born. Although to think it needs that much life force to fully develop first" .

SIX YEARS LATER.

(Warden) "Hey there Rat " he gestures as he loads needle with some drug.

(Rat) ".... get lost you've got nothing one day I'll kill you."

They glare back in forth till the kid passes out again. Six years passed and they continue to torture him until his body breaks then repairs then again until they find what they're looking for.

(Warden) " If you think this guild is nothing you're wrong we drug you everyday with stronger meds than last time while you normally could just reject it with you're blood you are too tired to fight it. Were going to have to keep this underground for a long time the world's changing above all looking for what I've got write here in front of me. "
