Third person point of view
Kate was in the storeroom doing the laundry when Mrs Philips came around. She wanted to see if Daniel was doing the laundry like she had instructed. But when she saw that it was Kate who was doing it instead of Daniel, her anger grew. She approached the young woman and looked at her up and down.
"I thought I specifically asked Daniel to do this laundry, why are you doing it instead of him?" she asked in an annoyed tone.
"Daniel is not feeling well, so I offered to do it for him, ma'am. Besides, this is one of the reasons why you pay me so if there is dirty laundry, I believe I am the best person to do this. I am sorry ma'am if it looked like I went against your orders. It's just that I wanted to help the poor boy out," Kate answered.
"So, where is he? Where is Daniel?" Mrs Philips asked again.
"He is resting in my room."
"I see."
