Why are you with a monster?
Watching Mei Joan's disappearing back, Lee Shira closed the door and walked towards the living area to put the baby bag on the mini table.
Lee Shira seated on the sofa and spoke with his normal cold voice. "Sit." But Arwen did not listen; instead, she tightened her arms on his neck.
Lee Shira: "..."
He can only sigh and carefully removed Arwen's little arms from his neck. Lee Shira place her to sit on his lap as he wiped the tears on her little face with gentleness.
"Don't ever cry again" Lee Shira said with his cold voice while staring at the little girl's adorable face. Scrutinizing her features that even looked more like Aryen if you look at it carefully.
Lee Shira's brows wrinkled while looking at the little girl. Looking close, when Arwen's eyes changed into luminous green, it looks exactly the same as Aryen.
Aside from Arwen's pupils, the shape of her face is not far with Aryen. Although the child's features seemed mixed; surely with her father, she still has more resemblance with his wife.
While examining Arwen's features, there was a knocked on the door that made Lee Shira's face turned dark. But he put her on the sofa and stood up to walk towards the entrance.
When it was opened, Lee Shira's face turned darker. A man with blonde hair, clear black eyes and an attractive face was standing in front of him with a mischievous smile on his lips.
It was Jiang Min, wearing a white shirt and an opened black leather jacket; a faded jeans on his lower body that made him looked more handsome.
"I know this is your first day of honeymoon vacation, but I need your signature." Jiang Min said with a chuckle while he raised his hand that's holding a brown envelope.
With a mischievous smile on his lips, Jiang Min was about to speak again but interrupted after he felt a little arms that suddenly embraced his leg.
Jiang Min: "..." What?!
Jiang Min was dumbfounded. He looked down and saw a cute little girl clinging on his leg. Looking up at him with an expressionless face but he was stupefied after she speaks.
"Daddy.." Arwen uttered while staring at Jiang Min, ignoring Lee Shira who was standing next to them. Then she let go of his leg and raised her arms, asking to lift her up.
Jiang Min: "..."
Jiang Min wrinkled his brows but suddenly felt a cold chill. There was a murderous gaze from Lee Shira, so he looked at his best friend who was staring at him intently.
He looked around with curiosity and confirmed that the little girl is with his best friend. But Jiang Min arched his eyebrow with interest to see Lee Shira alone with a child.
With questions on his mind, Jiang Min looked back at Lee Shira while ignoring his murderous gaze. He slightly coughs and forced a smile. "Are you sick? Why are you taking care of a child?"
Too bad Lee Shira did not respond which made Jiang Min suddenly felt nervous like he is nearly going to get killed at any moment so he said. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Daddy!" Arwen screamed after Jiang Min continued to ignore her and not taking her on his arms. But it made him suddenly shiver due to Lee Shira's murderous gaze.
Jiang Min: "..." Why is he getting mad at me?!
Jiang Min opened his mouth, but he doesn't know what to say. He can only shake his head and ignore his best friend while he looked at the little girl in front of him.
A sweet smile appeared on Jiang Min's lips. He threw the envelope on Lee Shira's chest; he doesn't care whether his best friend would take it or not.
He bent over and carefully carried Arwen on his arms. "Hey cute baby girl.. Why are you with a monster? Aren't you afraid of him?" Jiang Min jokingly uttered.
