Lee Shira's demand in exchanged to be with her daughter added by his threat not to lie or keep any secrets, made Aryen's heart almost stopped beating.
Aryen looked at him skeptically. So what if Lee Shira is now her husband? Based on what she heard about this monster, how can she trust him?
However, Lee Shira's offer to give her everything made Aryen had second thoughts. But she tried to recall what he has done for her since they were together.
Lee Shira forced her to get married; he took her first kiss, her virginity. Aryen even felt like she was his sex slave; doing it wherever and whenever he wants.
He even told her that she was just an object for him to have a child; but she's still going to be the mother and his wife. It is something that he cannot take away from her.
What else? Lee Shira agreed with her request to have their honeymoon at her country, but not just that; He even asked her mother to cook something for her, which Aryen did not expect.
He personally asked Mei Joan to teach how to cook her favourite dish and took care of her daughter at the same time; Lee Shira even reminded her not to expose herself when she did not noticed her actions.
Is that enough for Aryen to trust him? Of course not. What Lee Shira want was for her to tell him everything, which means about her nightmare; being experimented, her tragic life.
Who ever she is right now, are all lies. Won't Lee Shira feel that she deceived him? Her current appearance was not the real her, not even her identity.
Aryen's heart is filled with apprehension. She wanted to trust him, but still hesitant. What if Lee Shira kills her once he finds out that whoever she is right now were all fake?
She feared that Lee Shira won't accept her for what or who she really is. A guinea pig that has been experimented; technically a trash who died and unexpectedly reborn.
Staring straight at Lee Shira, while in deep thoughts; Aryen wouldn't mind that he keeps on nibbling on her lips while patiently waiting for her to speak, yet his fierce eyes give her a chill.
Without getting any response from Aryen, Lee Shira stopped kissing her. But he bent over to carry her in bridal style where his wife silently encircled her arms on his neck as he walked towards their bedroom.
He seated on the bed and leaned back on the head board. but Lee Shira did not let go of Aryen; making her sit on his lap like a baby, his arms remained on her waist, preventing her to fall.
Lee Shira had removed his eye glasses and placed it on the side table before he pinched her chin to look up at him straight in the eye.
Scrutinizing her beautiful face, Lee Shira asked with his normal cold voice. "How is it possible for you to become her mother?"
Aryen's face suddenly turned pale. How can she explain? She doesn't know the answer. What more, Lee Shira was her first; he should know that.
It already sounded funny that she has a daughter. But there's one possibility, science. Donating her eggs? But it absolutely sounds ridiculous.
Unless Aryen is willing to explain that she was an experiment subject by unknown people; She has a reconstructed body which is something unclear to her.
Aryen's heart began pumping fast. She doesn't know whether to answer or not. but Lee Shira was still patiently waiting for her to speak; staring at her intently, his gaze were fixed on her eyes, not missing any second.
After a couple of breaths, Aryen finally answered. "I... I don't know.." But her voice is faint, almost disappear on her last words.
Her eyes sting. Aryen wanted to blurt out all her confusions, cry to him, but afraid on how Lee Shira would look at her. Afraid that he will kill her.
There was no answer from Lee Shira. He just keeps on staring at her, but Aryen has no idea what's running on his mind and it only made her pumping heart skipped a beat while waiting for him to react.
