Aryen's heart skipped a beat after hearing Jiang Min's claim while she felt like a pail of cold water was poured over her, making her body turning into a frozen ice statue.

The word 'My daughter' was like a hailstorm that hits Aryen's mind; freezing her blood cells and preventing her brain from functioning.

At the same time, those words keeps on ringing in Aryen's ears repeatedly. It was enough to make her mind suddenly turned blank due to shock.

Claiming that he is Arwen's father while she has no memories about it at all, Aryen did not move at all, but her eyes remained staring at Jiang Min.

"Mrs Lee?" Jiang Min asked after not getting an answer. His voice sounded calm and appreciative while staring straight at Aryen's luminous green eyes.

He realized that Aryen's eyes were mesmerizing when you look at it closely, but it did not hinder him from secretly observing every expression on her face.

Jiang Min recalled the time when Aryen was intently staring at him when he was sitting in the sofa, his heart jumped in excitement.

His eyes can't help looking from her head to toe, realizing that she's showing more than necessary with the bathrobe that she's wearing.

Jiang Min's mind can't help imagining things, but knowing that Lee Shira is secretly observing, he tried to stop those thoughts and took a glance at his best friend.

Seeing no negative reaction from Lee Shira, Jiang Min stood up from the sofa and walk towards her with Arwen on his arms while each step he made makes him feel more excited.

He can't help smiling while watching the way how Aryen look at him. Jiang Min stopped less than one step in front of her but her eyes remained looking at him in the eyes.

Therefore, seeing that there's no sign of stepping back to stay away from him, Jiang Min decided to lean closer to see how Aryen would react.

Unfortunately, Jiang Min was disappointed that there were no reactions from her. Aryen remained the same after being so close to each other.

However, since there was no negative response from Aryen, Jiang Min teasingly asked why she would have that kind of look in her eyes but still did not get any response.

Because of this kind of reaction, Jiang Min deliberately spoke faintly. Whispering to her while ignoring the temptation to do more after smelling her tempting unique scent after taking a shower.

"Hey, are you okay? Is something wrong? Why do you keep on staring at me?" Jiang Min asked with a faint voice which is only enough for Aryen to hear his words.

His voice has a bit of flirtatious hints towards Aryen, but after closely starring at each other, Jiang Min frowned while his heart suddenly skipped a beat.

There was unknown feelings after being so close to Aryen which made Jiang Min added. "Have we met before? I feel like I have seen you somewhere." But he suddenly fell in deep thoughts.

Unexpectedly, Jiang Min's handsome face shows both curiosity and confusion while they continue to look at each other, but it cannot hide the unknown meaning in their eyes.

At the same time, Aryen finally tried to speak, but with a disappearing voice. She almost chocked while the words that she wanted to say did not leave her throat. "You.. Are you really.. Arwen's...."

Aryen's voice made Jiang Min snapped out while in deep thoughts for a second and uttered lovingly but there was an unknown sadness in his eyes. "What's wrong Mrs Lee? Are you okay?"

After realizing how they both looked at each other, Jiang Min forced to continue smiling sweetly like he did not lose his composure for a moment.

"Yes, I am her father, but she doesn't look much like me since she gets most of her mother's appearance." Jiang Min added after remembering Aryen's unfinished questions.
