You can't dump Lily and go unscathed

The sun was blazing. It was probably about 2 PM. I was strolling along the beach enjoying the scenery which had a perfect calming effect to my troubled mind. The beach was packed. Beautiful girls in bikinis. Men, shirtless with only shorts on. Young and old couples holding hands and lost in a romantic bliss. But this didn't affect me at all. The sound of waves crashing on each other, and onto my feet are the only things that mattered to me. That sound was like a soothing melody to my brain, triggering an influx of dopamine. It seems like a small thing to others, but for me it meant a lot. Ever since I joined campus, I learnt to appreciate even the least of happiness I get. Depression was everywhere. And most of the smiles you'd see were mostly staged and fake. Most of the smiles were just masks people use to hide their inner selves. So for me such things that could teleport my mind to a peaceful world even for a second really meant a lot. Considering the mount of shit, I had gone through lately.

A cold breeze blew into my unbuttoned shirt and slammed into my chest. It was a really heavenly feeling as the wind graced my skin soothing my nerves. This was exactly what I needed for the moment. It felt like the gods for once had aligned with my needs. As I was walking along the beach I suddenly heard a voice calling me, which I seemed to recognize. At first I thought it was just an illusion, but when I turned my head and faced the blue waters my doubts were cleared. It was really Tasha.

She was wearing a black bikini. Her wet top piece revealed two round tits and a deep mouthwatering cleavage. Her wet hair laying messily over her shoulders and a few strands over her face exuded a sexy vibe that my senses found it hard to ignore. Tasha looked extraordinary in that black bikini. Her body was blazing, too hot that the blue waters couldn't extinguish her. For a moment I was speechless. A lot of questions flooded my mind which I had no answers to.

I thought Tasha told me she lives in Nairobi, then what was she doing in Mombasa? She never told me she had relatives who stay in Mombasa. She even told me she had never set foot in Mombasa and that once she gets money the first place she would visit was Mombasa. But here she was in Mombasa. New, and yet in the waters alone. She even knew how to swim. And why was she calling me? We had never talked again since that incident at the restaurant, why was she all smiles now. Why was she acting like everything was fine?

As I stood there speechless, my jaws dropped. I didn't even know that Tasha had already swam her way and was in front of me.

"Don't you want to swim with me?" Tasha asked stretching her right hand towards me while her left hand swept the few strand of hair covering her face. It was only a simple gesture but its effect to me was tremendous. Even though I had a lot of questions, I didn't have a choice but to hold her hand.

Tasha led me into the water, and like a ghoul I followed her without question. My waist went inside, my chest followed. The waters reached to my neck and Tasha didn't show any signs of stopping.

"Tasha what the fuck are you doing?" I was confused.

"Nick my car is only a few meters away; I'm not used to doing it while standing and with people staring at me."

"Tasha this joke is not funny at all. Am out of here…?"

"It's not funny Nickolas, just look at all those people," Tasha said pointing at the shores, and as she spoke her voice slowly transformed from Tasha's to Lily's voice. "look at how happy they are for us, I thought you loved me too Nick."

"What is that…?" They were not people. Just a bunch of skeletons staring at us. Then…then Tasha broke into a loud maniacal laugh.

"Lily?" Tasha's face had changed to Lily's. I turned to flee away to the shore, only to find that the skeletons had already dived into the water and were swimming towards me.

"No…No…please Lily." I pleaded. Lily stretched her hand and grabbed my neck. She was extraordinarily strong. Her hand grabbed me and forced my head into the water.

"You thought you could dump me and get away with it that easily." Lily said before forcing my head again into the water and then lifted it up.

"Please Lily…I didn't…" my head went inside the water again. If this continued I knew I might die, so the moment she pulled my head out of the water, I broke into a loud scream.

"I didn't know you're such a coward." Lily said before lifting me up, and then with a single hand she threw me to the skeletons.
