reminiscence

Something was sliding across the deck now catching Morgan's eye.

He watched in amazement what might have reminded him of a rope, but he moved like a snake in his sinuous and purposeful movements. His gaze returned to Kassuim reminding her of a bird of prey.

"I hate you. I really hate it. I'm going to bleed and die here in front of you while you call me a boy. I hope you feel a lot of remorse."

She didn't notice anything else, as she struggled to regain control. Breathe. It was definitely not working, either. She remembered that mouth and the feel of his lips firmly on hers with a shudder. Those months of separation had only added to his aura of power and virility.

He spoke.

Or at least she thought he was talking.

What was he talking about?

Rays! Why didn't he remember her? The Staff! The unfortunate and damned Staff!

In response to the silence, Morgan looked into the green eyes. At that point, the rope was getting ready to wrap itself around Conner's feet. What a curse!

-Kassuim!

The boy was ... He was a sorcerer. A sorcerer? How long since they had found one? He didn't believe it...

She backed away with a start and miraculously the rope fell limp on the floor. It was not for nothing that strange things happened around that boy. William could only be kidding if he thought he would play the dry nurse of an unhappy teenage wizard.

The boy had indisputably delicate features. The skin on his face, despite the soot, showed no sign of a beard. And those green eyes ... The rope had stopped moving by itself when the boy was startled. Those green eyes ... They exhibited the boy's feelings very naturally. Morgan could catch the boy's angry vibrations in surprise. It is more disturbing. His arrival had frightened the boy.

Because it was really a boy. The delicate features were damned feminine.

- Well, Kassuim. - He cleared his throat awkwardly. Something about that boy bothered him. He continued to be tense: My name is Philip Morgan and this is | Michael, my brother. I was charged with escorting him on board the Black Coral at Blackwill's orders.

Will's orders?

As well?

She gasped and blinked. Willian had done what?

A new pang of pain caught her as she took a deep breath. She was going to throw herself into his arms. There was no air. What do you mean escort, sir? Was it your impression or was the smile that illuminated the attractive, manly features indulgent?

Why did the man have to be so handsome like that? It was pointless. And he was going to treat her like a child! Could anything worse happen?

It was an outbreak of fulminating anger. She was furious. The table shook violently and the knives flew in the air, giving Morgan time to look at Michael in astonishment before fixing her eyes on the mast with the embedded knives. No one there showed any surprise.

Morgan hissed in amazement and Corner swore angrily. Ah. That was really bad.

-Zagorra is dead! You will bring this wretch to trial. Look! Only an irresponsible person would have led such an attack. My ship was almost hit by the wreckage. - Ah, she was inflamed more and more. - The command of a ship is not guaranteed as it is Thalagar's favorite. And not to satisfy the captain's perverted whims in bed. It takes talent and competence, Corner.

The silence was general. Nobody spoke, not even Corner.

Nobody waits for that.

Morgan stopped, gaping. It wasn't just bad. It was terrible! Why did he remember Faith? Most of them agreed with him but knew how to be prudent enough not to comment. Rays! The boy did indeed have a short temper. And the endless list of accusations went on relentlessly.

Did the boy intend to lead a riot, sir?

After the shock, Corner screamed and howled as an animal would have done in the face of insults. He had a magenta color on his face and could tear off his mustaches with his fingers.

Morgan was careful to stand in front of Kassuim when his face changed color, while Michael helped to impose distance. The boy was reckless. Irresponsible. At the very least, he was looking for death. He seemed barely able to stand on his feet by the staggering way.

-Boy! - he scolded as would have done had he been a rebellious child. It was enough to show authority. Iron reins. It couldn't be that hard to deal with a temperamental child. He could, of course, do that! - I don't want any trouble.

It was going to work. It was enough to show who was in charge there.

A Corner apoplectic was now owned by Michael and two other men. For a split second, Morgan was almost sorry for the Spaniard. The boy was a nightmare.

- These are serious accusations, boy. - His voice was defiant and cold when trying to intimidate him. - Will you support that? It is subject to trial in court and expulsion.

Kassuim crossed her arms in disgust. Why she knew. It was clear that she knew. What did he think?

-And did you realize that just now? - she the hurt and biting challenge.

- I'll kill that kid! I swear I'll kill this time.

Corner's screams echoed.

Morgan, however, swore, staring at the pathetic figure in front of him.

He watched the damned delicate reactions very carefully. Hells! An old hat covered his head halfway up his forehead. He was watching the way Kassuim bit his lip in awe. Completely fascinated. There was something really disturbing about the boy's way of doing that.

At the same moment, the strong sea breeze ran across the strong deck. The smell of blood was much stronger and then there was more ... A sweet, delicate aroma that enveloped him, making him look very closely at Kassuim.

The rope moving by itself could have been just an impression.

Reflection of the sun? And as for the knives ... well, there was, of course, an excellent and logical explanation.

Only that boy! Ah with all the curses. He's looked like a girl, actually. A little thin and that would need care, but still beautiful. It was a sensual and very disturbing way the way Kassuim bit the lower lip. He felt the urge to do the same.

"It was very sunny. Or maybe the drink didn't do well. I'm imagining things. Why did it suddenly seem so provocative?"

He was not well. Well, almost thirty years old and he had always thought of himself as a normal man. Or almost. He had never shown that kind of interest before.

"Calm down, Morgan. You're just a boy, perverted man. You're just tired."

Only he was also starting to pick up more smells. There was an unmistakable female scent, provocative and engaging that was beginning to stoke her instincts.

It was really tiring. There was no other explanation. It was time for him to look for Mayra and meet the needs of the meat. But he could have sworn he was a girl in unkempt clothes and not a damned boy.

The confusion was heightened by the exchange of provocations. In the next instant, he was pushed against the rail. Without waiting he was pressed against a small and very malleable body that looked nothing like a boy.

Mon Dieu!

Sir, his or her clothes didn't smell. And that smell ... It was tempting. His body reacted immediately and tense against the unexpected curves that compressed him.

It was a horror. He reacted as any man could react to a situation like that with a woman squeezing and rubbing against him. And the pants start to bother. Was that creature really a boy?

Mercy. That ass pressed against him and ... Morgan swallowed hard, her throat dry and disgusted. perverted. "I can't believe you got old to like these things, comrade!"

"What a curse, Morgan. What have you become? An unfortunate thirteen-year-old kid?"

His body reacted in an involuntary spasm that made him stifle a groan. He urgently needed to spend a few hours with Mayra. Sex, purely sex to vent energy. Mayra was excellent at taking a man to paradise and he could break free.

-I'm warning you, kid. Not even Thalagar this time will save your neck. And it won't just be a few lashes.

"You won't touch the damn claws on her! "

It was definitely a woman.

Corner forced at all costs to cross the barrier of solid muscles. And Morgan cursed once, twice. The position was really uncomfortable. The uproar squeezed them against the ship's rail and he began to worry about things other than Corner's threats. It was indeed hell. He was excited. Kassuim was going to notice. He tried without much success to impose some distance.

-Come on, Corner! - Michael tried to calm the mood.

Morgan was sweating. That unfortunate smell ... Was it ... Was it jasmine? He mentally cursed the worst insults he knew. The small, delicate body was pressed back against his. And God! It was soft, tantalizingly hot-pressed to him.

He expected to feel solid and rigid muscles; only they were miserably feminine, molding themselves perfectly to his body. He turned his face away, looking at Kassuim in bewilderment. Repairing her panting. And aspired.

It was jasmine.

He was sure. He stopped in his face with soft expressions, his upturned nose, and long lashes. Her mouth showed very inviting and provocative lips whenever she bit into that maddening habit. He shook his head, stunned.

And looked around. It was his impression, but had no one noticed the small, insignificant, and damned detail that Kassuim was a girl? God!

"I'm not a boy!" ...?

He grunted. That creature's voice was not thick, the timbre was high and delicate. He ... He was imagining things.

"Will is going to kill me!"

Ah, with all the rays of hell. He was a man with perfectly normal needs. He was also an experienced man. never experienced that ... That kind of ... No, it was a woman. It was clear that he knew the difference between a boy and a woman.

- Won't you do anything? - the injured Kassuim accusation struck him.

Morgan found himself lost and drifted into those green eyes. Do nothing?

He certainly didn't want to think about the ideas that came to his mind about what he could do. He was a pervert.

It was clear that if Kassuim had been a girl, old Will would have told him. He moaned softly. The tiny hand that touched his arm made him experience an unpleasant exaggerated heat. It was hellfire. It was terribly hot. Skin to skin. It seemed to burn, burning his blood. And that damn smell ...

- Boy, are you ...Kassuim closed his eyes with fulmination.

-I COMMANDED TO STOP CALLING ME LIKE THAT. I AM NOT A DAMNY BOY!

He was going to argue. And swear.

Once again he found himself caught in the deep, enveloping gaze. The eyes of an intense and clear green shone. Was it a sparkle of tears? He asked himself at the height of his perplexity. They were intense and pleading like any woman.

He swore angrily. Tight pants now bothered him with his unfortunate erection in front of a crew that was becoming undesirable.

Kassuim's head slid against her chest as he closed the eyes in a low moan. The wound should be fatal after all. The minutes were counted. Had she really shouted in front of everyone that she was not a boy? He was a goddamn wolf and he hadn't recognized her. She just wanted to die.

The smell of blood came to Morgan's nose.

- Are you ... I mean ... What the hell! You were hurt. - He hesitated without action. He could have sworn that the small body contracted in a spasm of pain next to his. He, or she, or whatever the damn was hurt. It was not his impression. The blood had a natural appeal to him after so long without hunting.

-No ... - the answer was a low whisper.

She lied. turned the head away, breaking contact. It would be her total ruin if she burst into tears in the middle of the deck and there was very little to do. She was also feeling tired and dizzy. The wound should have started bleeding again. She needed to get away from that man. Or she can curl up in his arms. The pain did not pass. It hooked and throbbed. She felt desperately the hot liquid that reached the cold, wet shirt, and he shivered as she closed her jacket.

Hecate...

"Oh, God ... I was bleeding again ... "That way was going to have to be cauterized.

What was she going to do? They argued endlessly. The anchor chain made her stumble as she leaned heavily on the handle. She had moved away and it was suddenly very cold. The cold was freezing. Her body was numb, aching, and numb. There was also a constant throbbing in her ears. The eyes were heavy.

- You were hurt! Morgan was staring at her at the height of her fury. It was blood and it was not small. She was a damn girl. The pallor in the contracted features seemed about to pass out. was hurt and still looking for fights.

- Kassuim!

She heard nothing, the images in front of her lost reality. She was no longer on board the Star.

The heat of the flames was terribly hot and stifling. It was impossible to breathe. That man, who was the worst of her nightmares, held the torch on fire. The orders were clear. He didn't want survivors. He intended to ensure that no wizard had the opportunity to escape with his life. ICHICHOS were lethal and relentless exterminators. The pieces of four ...Bu Hecate...

- Stay away from the damn rail. -This time Morgan's order was categorical when he noticed the foggy eyes.

He looked for signs of injury. The wet clothes were soiled with blood and even seemed to hide feminine shapes. Her breathing was irregular. The distant look made him curse.

-KASSUIM! he repeated and there was urgency in his voice.

The boy started to recede dangerously with precarious balance and Estrela listened to the rough sea. It was going to end up falling. He forced himself to approach slowly.

- No ... They won't find them.

That voice ...

Morgan felt the skin crawl. It was not possible. He knew the sound of that very low voice and it was as if the world stopped.

"Cassie !?"

- It's all right. - He breathed slowly. It wasn't possible at all- Now get away from there. You need to take care of that wound.

Her look was feverish and listless.

Curse! Was she delusional? It's a girl.

- I hid ... They won't find them. I hid the pieces of four. The staff is safe ...

Her words and gestures were automatic reflexes.

The girl's mind was quite far away. And that perfume ... Oh, God! That perfume was now terribly familiar. His instincts surfaced and his inner wolf emerged victorious by sniffing the woman.

It's not possible.

- Pieces of four! Corner howled. You damned useless kid.

Morgan was astonished. Without believing.

Cassie !?

The confusion was redoubled. What the hell were these 4 pieces? For a moment the captain's attention was diverted to the brother who was thrown away. The brief distraction had been long enough for the Spaniard to reach Kassuim.

"Ready. Have I gone mad? That simple!"

Morgan's eyes like two blinding black stones resurfaced as he moved forward. His warning cry came seconds before Kassuim's shout. Corner laughed with satisfaction, experiencing the pleasure of trying to strangle the boy. Morgan's growl came loud and furious and everyone moved away.

Kassuim was suffocating.

She gasped at the sensation that her lungs burned before Morgan grabbed his attacker. didn't care. She gathered the rest of her forces and raised the foot, flexing his knee, and with the toe of it, she struck her attacker in the groin.

The Spaniard screamed, casting assorted plagues and cringing. Not before throwing the small body away from the ship's safety.

New screams echoed across the deck.

The book is a continuation of Blood Links. A lot has happened because of the Four pieces. So, as a continuation, I will post slowly while I finish the first book so as not to spoil the surprises.

The collection is available for sale by Amazon.
